She didn't actually drink this. Lol!

My husband found this place & we drove out to try it early morning in April. The place is bright and colorful. Parking was easy as it was still early. Servings were large, maybe too much food as some things aren't as great reheated. My daughter ordered fun pancakes but didn't like them. She also ordered a specialty drink that she didn't like unfortunately. Sucks for our pockets, she's a picky eater. We probably won't be back as prices weren't great & food was just okay. Refried beans with the chilaquiles would be a good option.

**REAL REVIEW: Would not recommend if you want to leave happy and satisfied. I'd be embarrassed to invite anyone here. Service: There were only two servers and they looked EXHAUSTED. They definitely should be getting paid more. Expect the wait time to be long. 30MIN + just to start with drinks and you may have issues being seated. 6/10 Molcajete was good 4/10 Steak and Eggs. The toast and steak were hard, cold, and flavorless. 7/10 Cafe de Olla Inside looks great but they need to start focusing more on service and food quality and not overworking their staff.

I came here last month after seeing it advertised on social media. It's a hole in the wall, and the parking lot is a nightmare. Luckily I was able to find a spot right in front by a miracle. The service was very good. Our server was very kind & helpful. Regarding the food, I ordered the green chilaquiles, & my friend ordered the red ones. To drink I ordered an horchata latte. The food was ok, I was expecting Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese on it, but it only had Cotija cheese. It tasted like it was missing something. The red ones were much better. The coffee was ok, nothing spectacular. I've had better elsewhere. Overall the experience was a decent one, but nothing to rave about.

The steak they put on this chilaquiles plate is out of this WORLD !! And the plate they serve it on is HUUUGEEEE !! Easily A top breakfast steak I've had in a long time. Their Customer service is on point. And The atmosphere is super chill and they also have really cool art all over that really sets the vibe. This place is a must on the brunch side. Perfect for the family.

My family really enjoyed brunch here. The location is small, but the service was excellent and very attentive. Parking can be a little tricky, but it's nothing too difficult. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely come back!

I actually loved the food ALOT! My husband and I ordered a "Parillada de chilaquiles" and it was a ton of food for $45 (it fed both of us). The green sauce was perfect (not crazy spicy but a good amount of spice) and the cotija cheese over everything was yummy. The latte flight was also the perfect sweet treat. Our waitress was also attentive and great. The walls had really cool picture spots and the music was fun. My only complaint was the restroom didn't have a changing table. Us parents like to go out to brunch with our babies and I think the changing table would have made this place a 5 for me.

Come to Mexican brunch with me! I had: 1. Parrilla de chilaquiles 2. Birria pambazo 3. Birria ramen 4. Desserts: churros, horchata French toasts 5. Drinks: Oreo mocha, flight ice latte, rose cotton, virgin michelada

Saw this on Social Media & decided to give it a try, nothing spectacular. Parking is a nightmare, ambiance is ok, service is good but the food could be better. Nothing special.

My food arrived first, but I'm still waiting for the French toast. Unfortunately, the customer service left much to be desired, as no one attended our table after our dishes were delivered separately. We were in need of napkins, so I asked a different server for napkins and two waters, but she didn't seem to take my request well. I ended up flagging down my waitress to ask for napkins and the waters again; she brought the napkins, but I'm still waiting for the water. The food, overall, is rated 4 out of 5. However, my Horchata Latte didn't taste like horchata at all. On a positive note, the "LA Barbie" is a must-try! Unfortunately, the waitress didn't introduce herself, so I don't even know her name. She did come by to check if everything was okay, which I appreciate. In terms of ratings: Customer service: 2/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Music: 4/5 As for whether I will return, I don't have high expectations. I tend to be cautious with my tips in relation to customer service, and I only left her $3. Regrettably, I will not be back.

Little gem we found thanks to yelp. We shared the chilaquiles platter and it was so amazing. The place is really cute inside. It was super busy so the servers weren't the most attentive but we didn't care. The food was so good. 10/10 recommend.

The flavors are rich, authentic, and never taste artificial. But what really sets them apart are the toppings. You can tell they don't cut corners because everything is prepared fresh in their kitchen every morning. Their silky mousse and chewy mochi are next-level--easily some of the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is super friendly, and the quality is incredibly consistent. Whether you're craving a perfectly brewed coffee, a refreshing fruit tea, or a decadent boba drink, this is the spot. I'll definitely be coming back on the regular. Highly recommend!

I'm not a fan of coffee so I'm always deciding between their mochi, fresh fruit, or iced teas etc. My go-to drinks are the Yuzu Citrus No. 8 and Jasmine Frost Iced Tea (less sweet for both options). The Yuzu Citrus has the perfect amount of tang with a slight sweetness that cuts through the acidity. The tea flavor manages to shine through the fruitiness, and overall the flavors pair well with one another. The Jasmine Frost Iced Tea is very aromatic and brewed to really highlight the Jasmine. My boyfriend normally gets the mochi mango which has soft chunks of mochi mixed, and tart/sweet mango puree. I appreciate how the smoothie is never icy, and has a creamy texture. There are plenty of seating options for people, whether it's socializing or studying. It gets pretty busy and wait-times can vary greatly; I would recommend ordering ahead of time. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have with the spot is that the drinks do tend to be on the more expensive side, with drinks ranging from $7-9. The matcha drinks are also not the highest quality, and often the matcha tastes quite diluted. Overall a solid spot!

There's a lot I want to say about this spot but I'm a try and keep it short lol…read more My first time visiting was this past Sunday, May 31st. I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. Great vibes and great coffee. You can even go the park right next door and get your steps in or just chill. I definitely recommend coming here. If you're passing thru the area or coming to the city, do yourself a favor and pull up. Check em' out. Grab you a coffee or something. Prices are reasonable and the community is welcoming to all individuals.

I will say, the cafe de olla is very spice forward. I taste a lot of cloves and star anise. A bit different than others I've had but I really liked it. The mex mocha was smooth and rich. I did see that their slushies are highly rated and now that it's getting hot, we'll def be back to try them! Food 10/10 They don't have food items on their menu but there are baked goods! We ordered a cream croissant looking muffin and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were warmed up and were absolutely delicious. Vibes/Ambiance : 10/10 We came on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. There were people working there as they have free wifi and outlets. The decor and vibe is cute! They have art on the walls, pictures, plants, community flyers/events, and statements that make you feel safe and at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too! There is a little parking lot right next to the shop and we didn't find it hard to find a spot. There is a park next door so I can imagine on the weekends, parking might be a bit tricker. Loved that we found a local gem like Patria and will def be back!
