I stopped by this McDonald location since it is near my wife mom place. We were already in the plaza picking up things so I placed my mobile order through the app for counter pickup. I got the large fries and large coke. I also placed an order for my wife through her phone for the filet o fish and the free medium fries since the Angels won. I selected counter pickup but it somehow glitch and went to drive thru. When I walked inside of the place, I asked the worker if I can change it to counter pickup since it didn't allow me on the app for some reason but he didn't know so he got the manager Erica to help. She was confused too with the all but after a while, she was able to do it. The French fries that were made last night was not good at all. They were missing favor and seasoning, even adding ketchup and black pepper didn't help. The parking here can be limited depending on when you come because it's in a busy plaza. They still have self serve soda machine and it's a different machine from other McDonald's location. My wife like her filet o fish which was the only good part from our visit yesterday.

I would have given this place 4 stars if it wasnt for the girl handing me my food. I've learned to not expect stellar service from fast food places and mostly ever have mediocre experiences, especially sicne we mostly mobile order so there isn't much to go off of, but imagine how bad this service was that I am writing a reveiw for a mobile order. The first girl who took my voice code was very pleasant and nice. I pulled up to the second window and was immediately just handed drinks and food with barely enough time for me to put my food and drinks down before grabbing the rest. This all happened without as much as the girl handing me the food saying a single word and looking at me, eventhough I said hello to her. She handed me the meal box completely open, they didn't even bother to close it and she didn't even tell me when she was done handing me things so I had to ask if that was all and I'm pretty sure if the window wasn't there she would have thrown something at me with how annoyed she was that I asked the question. I would have given this place 1 star if it wasn't for the girl up front, me receiving the order correctly and the food tasting good. If this wasn't the only close McDonald's, I'd never come here again.

We are from Santa Monica, and we visited the Discovery Cube Children's Museum today. On our back, we wanted to grab something to eat, and my toddler always got the same order: medium fries, plain burger, and milk. I got the chicken sandwich, bottle of water and coke. The drive-through was busy but still moving. From the moment we got in line until we got our food, it was about 15 minutes, give or take.

    wtf a JOKE

I ordered a hot CHOCOLATE, & I got a hot cup of milk. WTF!!!!!!!! I'm so annoyed This was a delivery order too!!!!

I ordered off Uber Eats and the food is very PRICEY!…read more However... Beef ribs: 10/10 SO damn good. Definitely the star of the entire order. Chili beans: 10/10 Also really good. No complaints! Baked beans: Honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up baked beans. Very standard, traditional baked beans, good. Potato wedges: 8/10 Also kind of hard to mess up potato wedges unless they're undercooked or overcooked. They were seasoned too. So pretty standard tasting Mac & cheese: 3/10 I'm from the South, so there's just a certain baseline I reference when it comes to mac & cheese, and unfortunately this wasn't it for me. I would never order the mac again. Cornbread: 10/10 Southern girl approved!!! Collard greens: 4/10 Not a slither of seasoning but I got them together myself. Fish: The fish is actually why I ordered in the first place because I was craving some fried catfish. On Uber Eats, it just said "fish of the day," and I assumed it was catfish. It was, in fact, NOT catfish. I'm not sure what type of fish it was, but it tasted more prepackaged like something you would get out of the frozen section at the grocery store vs. freshly prepared, so I was a little bummed about that. It didn't taste bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I was also extremely disappointed by the portion sizes of the sides. They are VERY small, especially considering the prices. I would definitely keep that in mind before ordering extra or individual sides. I still gave them 5 stars because those ribs were so damn good that they made up for everything else. I'd absolutely order the ribs again!

I have been wanting to try the bbq here for some time now and I finally got the opportunity to do…read moreso. Big Pops is accommodating to dine in and take out but I will say it can get quite warm in there as you are eating which for me it was they do however have two tower fans for the guests when it gets hot but it was just me in there and so it was off but still I run hot and I was starting to warm up while eating. With that being said I think the service for what is worth wasn't too bad. This place is nice and decorated and very quiet other than the radio playing in the back ground for the cooks. There are a few tables inside that can seat about maybe 10-12 max and they do have a drink fridge for you to choose what drinks to get. The person helping me out was very quiet didn't ask me if it was my first time or anything like that maybe just the hello and such but he was polite but just not welcoming I suppose. Since it was my first time I didn't know what to get and I think it's my fault for sure for not asking more and engaging on what I should get because I only asked like one question about the Tri tip plate and stuff but I ended up getting that and I will say it's quite a bit of food but at the same time it can get pricey I paid about & $29 for the plate with tip ended up being $34 in total. It's about what you would expect from a barbecue place. So with the plate or any plate as show on the menu, you do get a small side of fries, a piece of corn bread and a small side. The small sides are about $2.99 for and as shown in my picture they are that small like a tiny ramekin like double or triple the size of what you get from a sample from Costco. So the fries are fries nothing special about them but they were fried well and it had a nice crisp outside when you bite into it and the inside was cooked right. The corn bread was spectacular in my opinion! It was moist and flavorful with every bite! I used it to dip into my Tri tip plate because of the sauce and it was great! The Mac and cheese I will say was ok. Barely any flavor and it honestly reminded me of getting Mac and cheese from the grocery store hot deli like Ralph's and Vons because the consistency and texture of it really felt like it was made the same way and flavor wise as well because there as no flavor now with that being said I will say maybe my tastebuds were already saturated and nuked by the sauce from the Tri tip (which I'll get to a moment) and I couldn't appreciate the Mac and cheese as well or tell if it was salted or peppered or something. But to me it was pretty bland Mac and cheese like I wouldn't pay for it as my side. Now I will say that's the only side I got I didn't buy the others which I regret because maybe those sides were the ones you should be eating like the baked beans or collard greens which is the more essential sides of any barbecue eatery. So definitely the Mac and cheese was a miss for me and next time I'll get the other sides instead. Now the main course which is the Tri tip. I loved the Tri tip it was nice and tender and you get about 10 ounces and in the photo I have it's a lot! But I will say this, there are people who love wet barbecue and dry barbecue I'm a person who loves the dry barbecue as in only into dry rub and stuff I dont mind saucy meat but an over abundance of sauce just ruins it for me and this was the case for my Tri tip. In my photo you can definitely see that it is heavily drenched in their barbecue sauce which by the way is very flavorful no doubt about it! But it was so sweet and so saucy also it wasnt spicy as I had the option to choose from regular or spicy but there was no indication of spiciness at all. Like maybe I'm just used to spicy food but whatever is meant to make that spicy didn't really shine out and that was a big disappointment. I'm not really into sweet foods which most barbecue sauces are sweet or very vinegary based. This is very sweet and very acidic like my mouth was nuked. But the Tri tip itself was amazing! But my plate had too much sauce and it was too sweet and vinegary like I could swim in the sauce is how saucy it was. No matter how I felt about my saucy Tri tips that's how you're supposed to eat it as is because that's how they made it and it would be a disservice to do so differently. With that being said over all the food was great except for the bland Mac and cheese and heavily sweetened barbecue sauce all over my Tri tip other than that it was great.. Again if you're not into eating super saucy barbecue or you're a dry rub type of barbecue eater like me then I would warn you again that it gets saucy here hahaha at least for my plate. I'm still gonna come back because I'd like to try their other stuff and also it's a local business and helping support them and any other local business is great! So for me it's 4 stars out of 5! Thank you again! :)

We're not from the area, but we grew up in the San Fernando Valley, so we definitely know about the hype surrounding Queens Burgers. My husband had actually been here back in his younger days, but this was my first time. It was July, over 100 degrees, and incredibly humid, so we were honestly debating whether to just eat in the truck because we had to get back to LA. My husband went inside first and came back saying, "We can eat inside." So we decided to give it a try. Walking in felt like stepping back in time. This place has that true old-school burger stand feel. The classic benches and tables, the bars on the windows, and that nostalgic atmosphere you just don't find at modern burger places anymore. Now, full disclosure: it was HOT inside. There's no air conditioning and not much ventilation, and with the temperature outside being over 100 degrees, we were sweating like crazy. We ate pretty quickly and headed out. If you're visiting on a scorching summer day, just be prepared for the heat! But the FOOD? SO GOOD. I ordered a chili cheeseburger, something I hadn't had in years, and it brought back so many childhood memories. I honestly didn't think I was going to finish the whole thing... but I did! It was that good. My husband and my son each got a combo as well. My son had the regular cheeseburger, and he really enjoyed it too. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want from an old-school burger spot. And even though the place was packed, with people constantly coming in for to-go orders and every table being occupied, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick. We had barely walked in before someone greeted us and took our order, and our food came out surprisingly fast. Would I come back? Absolutely. Especially for that chili cheeseburger and the nostalgia factor. Just maybe not on a 100+ degree day. If you love classic, old-school burger stands and want a taste of that nostalgic San Fernando Valley-era burger experience, Queens Burgers is worth the stop!

Upon arriving home, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food I received. When I called the restaurant to report the issue, the cook who answered the phone was extremely disrespectful. He dismissively asked what I expected him to do and if I intended to order again. When I explained that I live too far away to return immediately to reorder , he hung up while I was still speaking. I redialed and another gentlemen answered the phone and apologized for the error I was given someone else's order which was plain burgers as seen in picture . As this has previously been my favorite place for takeout, I am very upset by both the quality of the order and the poor customer service I received from the cook.
