I'm so happy this place is still here and going strong! We almost always go in for vanilla cones. They are the absolute best here. The burgers are also great and don't even get me started on the delicious waffle fries! The service is quick and it's always busy. I love fosters! I've been coming to this location since high school days and they haven't changed much in taste! Their cheese burgers are so creamy and flavorful. I like that they use crinkle fries and they season them nicely. Their strawberry lemonade is so good and they put real strawberry chunks in it so it's not just syrup or strawberry liquid. Their ranch is yummy and thick. I would recommend giving their burgers a try. My only complaint is i asked for bacon on my burger and it was fatty and only one slice of bacon which was annoying but other than that it was great and i will be back! read more

Fosters freeze might actually be the best fast food chain I think I've ever been to. The staff there are very nice and patient with me when I went for the first time. I will say though, the outside and interior does feel kind of old but it makes up for it by making it feel like a fast food restaurant pulled straight out of the 50s. Sure the food prices are standard with many other burger chains in California. But for such quality and delicious food, it is definitely worth the money. They were a little busy but I wasn't sure what was normal for them. there were two customers ahead of us. When the female cashier took out order a twister and a banana split, she immediately finished and went into the eating area to excitedly talk with people she knew, and talked, and talked. Their $8.99 lunch special (hamburger, crinkle cut fries, my favorite, and a brewed iced tea) hits the spot. A chocolate dipped cone for dessert is literally the icing on the cake. Besides the obvious unhealthy aspect to the food, the overdone crinkle cut fries adds another layer to the unhealthiness and is the one thing for which I would recommend improvement (i.e. pull them fron the fryer sooner). You can never go wrong with a Twister. Always hits the spot. I grew up in San Fernando right around the corner so this place holds a special place in my time in the area. Yeah I was salty once and left a bad review cause I was annoyed the ice cream machine was out of order , but overall, they do serve good fast food and have good service.
