Popped by for a quick drink and snacks on a short trip across the border to run some errands. My friend and I came Friday afternoon around 3:30 and it was super empty. They offer happy hour from 3-6 daily, but none of the small bites on the hh menu sounded appealing, so we ordered from the regular menu. I got a prickly pear margarita ($8) for my drink, and my friend went with a beer for $5. We shared two items off the appetizer menu: Thai chicken ($13) and the coconut shrimp ($13). I couldn't actually taste any pear in my margarita but it was good. The server said it was a popular drink here too. For the food, I've learned I'm not a fan of coconut shrimp. It was my first time trying it, but the coconut and shrimp just didn't go well together. Never ordering this again... The Thai chicken was good though. It was just a bit different from what we were expecting as we thought it'd be served on top of noodles based on the description. Portions for the appetizers were pretty big, and we both left fairly stuffed. Overall this is a chill spot to grab a bite and wash it down with some drinks. read more

It's been a while since we've gone across the line for some grub. We are never disappointed when we head over to Bob's for lunch. What you're seeing is their Hawaiian Ham and Pineapple burger. I was tempted to get their teriyaki but couldn't say no to some extra protein with ham. Exactly as you'd like and that pineapple adds that acidity and sweetness! Had their Jo's as a side (aka potato wedges) which is always good with a solid burger. Also had their chicken strips which is exactly as advertised. Good food, very nice waitresses, very clean, we go every couple of weeks. Excellent salads, especially the steak salad, as well as Southwestern salad with chicken. Excellent burgers, and great squirrel sandwich (no squirrels used, haha), excellent hot fudge sundae. We've never had a bad meal there!! read more

Cody, the owner, was kind enough to invite us back to try again. He offered to comp my sandwich, which at $17.50, was generous, so we went back again today at lunch. Unfortunately, I can't really say things went great. The hostess did not greet us for a while after we arrived, when she appeared, she mumbled follow me and seated us. We had a waitress today who was personable. I opted for a different sandwich, as I was not convinced the ham would be less gristly. I ordered the BBQ Burger, but subbed chicken for the beef & JoJo's. Hubby got his same plain burger & fries. This time, I can say the sandwich was very good. Chicken was moist & hot. The JoJo's, unfortunately, were half burnt & lukewarm. Hubby's food was good. The reason I left it at 3 stars, is I feel the service here is lacking. Especially when the waitress knew we were returning after a bad experience. She just didn't really check on us and there was no feeling of 'we really enjoyed this place'. It's unfortunate, as I really prefer to uplift locally owned businesses, but if we were local, we would make the drive further for the price. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet, we've been coming here for years. I've tried just about everything on their menu and I can honestly say that every item was delicious and cooked properly and of ample portions. My favorites are: Fish & Chips,Grilled Turkey & Swiss sandwich, all the entree salads and wraps and their French Dips. They also have fantastic appetizers. Tonight we had the stuffed potato skins and they were really good, lots of toppings and so satisfying. Hubby had a bacon cheeseburger and I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. My wrap was huge and I ended up taking half home. Service was great (it always is) and the dining room was very clean. Their bar is top notch as well with lots of signature drinks. Tonight I had the Cherry Limeade cocktail, it is now my favorite drink. We'll be back. Maybe I'll try a burger next time. read more

I've been going to Bobs for a while, I wrote a review on Google Reviews as well. It's so good, I go with my dad- the food is good, the waitstaff is kind and helpful, the environment is great. It's not too loud but still somewhat lively. I want to gatekeep it and tell people not to go so there's still no wait time haha, but I won't because it's too good to keep from people. One of the most mediocre burgers I've ever had. I had the bonanza burger which was marked as a favorite. My partner had the guacamole burger. We both agreed the food was a solid 2 at best. The burger had no flavor to it at all -the meat wasn't seasoned at all. Disappointing especially after not eating all day. The fries were solid and the pickle spears were alright. The service was good, staff very friendly. The place itself was pretty basic but nice and open with lots of natural light. I don't mind paying $18 for a burger if it's tasty but the prices they charge for the quality of food you get is outrageous. read more

My friend and I were hungry after crossing the border from Canada into Washington. I did a quick search for restaurants and found Bob's. When I realized I could say, "We can eat at Bob's Burgers!" I did just that. We may have sang a song from the tv show on our way. (We did.) The place is pretty large! It was chilly in there on our visit, which was probably in part due to the rainy, chilly weather outside. Still, a little too cold for my taste. The burgers in the menu all looked amazing! I ended up ordering the turkey burger with cranberry and pineapple, sans bun, with fries. It was tasty! Not something I'd rave about, but it hit the spot. The turkey burger had that chargrilled taste to it, and the cranberry sauce was super good. The pineapple was okay. Could have been better since it's in the burger title. My friend ordered potato soup -- which she DID rave about -- and a burger full of jalapeños that she added chipotle sauce to. We were both pleased with our meals! In short, I'd eat here again... though there are other burgers I'd probably choose first when the options are plentiful. read more

They absolutely deserve a cheers for their generous serving of sides. I m not kidding about it. If you are not that hungry but needs something light to eat then just order two sides n you will be good. Coz we were starving so we sweeped off all the sides of sweet potato French fries with a sauce and onion fries with chilli chipotle sauce. Also we ordered vegetarian and grilled chicken burger which was little dry but too yummy n again big enough portions. I tell ya people , they have plenty of space, numerous sandwiches n burger choices to pick, pasta n pizza. Separate bar and seating area around it along with dinning area. Wonderful!! Great service, great food. Food served piping hot, drink well made, good (as in fast) wifi, and amazing service. Anything I asked for I got with 2 minutes (except the main meal, of course). Main meal (chicken sliders) came within 8 minutes or so. Really great flavor. Good handicap accessibility for parking and restrooms. They advertise 3-6 pm happy hour, but i wasn't here during that time period, so didn't see that menu. Thanks for a great experience. read more

At any given time I'm always down to go to Bobs any location because of the consistency of quality in their food...... well, I had my first bad food experience at a Bobs . I ordered a Ranch Bacon Chicken wrap with a side salad. was delicious The tortilla was on the dry side hard to bite into. Chicken was dry Bacon was good lettuce & tomatoes good bummer is, there was NO RANCH DRESSING in the wrap. Every bite was dry af !! Eventually I grabbed the ketchup to try and give it some life but that didn't really help. I'm mad at myself for not asking for something else but like I said I'm not one to say something. We just moved to the Bellingham area and someone recommended we try Bob's. I always trust but verify recommendations so I looked at the reviews. Somehow I decided to disregard them and ended up in the restaurant. Ordered a classic cheeseburger and fries and the tempura fish and onion rings. The food arrived and was absolutely nuked - like every...single...thing - on both plates were WAY over cooked. If you enjoy paying four star prices for zero or one star quality, then this is the place for you. First time visit since we're still new to Blaine. Appears to be a busy local burger place as the place was nearly filled on a Sunday evening, maybe pre-season football increased the crowd. Good burger selections, even turkey burgers variety for the wife. Was impressed with a couple of things, friendly service and very fast food delivery to our table. Was headed down the 5 and stopped here for a quick salad for lunch. Have previously had burgers but this time preferred something light. They have a special spring/summer menu and the apple walnut chicken salad was fantastic. Their burgers are great, as was this salad. The servers and hostess are warm friendly and really efficient. We are staying at the resort down the road so we are here a few times. Inside- Pretty clean, tables were clean and not sticky. Floor was clean. Food- We has BLT there was maybe two pieces of bacon not much, fries were good. We also ordered the chicken and bacon sandwich my husband said it was good my son had the double burger with mushrooms and bacon. I had the battered fish I thought it was really good he crust was better than the one I had at packers I like it when it's nice and crispy. Better than the first day I had the honey mustard chicken sandwich I didn't care for it. The family had a different burger. I would get the fish and chips again I loved the crispy batter and how it wasn't greasy. Bob's Burgers is like a local Red Robbins. The portion size is massive... Especially the sides. I enjoyed it, but it's too similar to other chains to say "Wow! That's a great local burger!" Would I recommend to someone who wanted a chain, of course. However, with Boomer's or Fiamma Burger nearby, I wouldn't say this this the only burger that you NEED to try if you're only in the area for a week. If you're a local, come here. We decided to eat at Bob's Burgers & Brew at the very last minute. On Sundays, they have a breakfast buffet and although it was cheap, it's overall below average. Breakfast buffet items include: Bacon Sausages French Toast Waffles Eggs Benedict on English Muffin Fruit Made to order egg omelette The best thing on the menu was the made to order egg omelette probably because it was the freshest thing available. Most items just sat in the warmers and there wasn't enough traffic to move everything along fast enough. I think if they made less food at once and rotated the items more, it would have been better. The staff were wonderful though and friendly. So that's a plus. read more
