Prime Rib Dip
Foxx I.

A coworker told me of this place, final had a chance to try...OMG!!!! I don't know why I had waited so long. The service was great. The food extra extra yummy. I had the Hawaiian burger no bun with Jo-jo's and my husband had the prime rib dip. His sandwich was delicious I took a few bites. My burger tasted like it came off a bbq grill. The ambiance was nice, then again we showed up an hour after opening. I would highly recommended this place for lunch. We plan going back to try other stuff on the menu.

Bob's Bonanza Double Burger is definitely worth a visit! To enjoy a delicious meal with your family or enjoy the game with friends in the Bar. Always great service and great food and a clean place. Ty Bob's

** I want to preface this by saying I ordered via doordash** The only reason that this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because the experience was outside the actual restaurant. I got a burger with additional things added (tomatoes, raw onions, sub cheese, etc.) with the Jojos. Now the sandwich was a little soggy, again, I expected this, because it was a to-go order. The first bite of the sandwich: absolutely spectacular. Even with a little soggy bun, the taste of the burger was DELICIOUS! I wish the burger might have been a little more medium rare. But even with it a little overdone, it was spectacular. Jojos were great, sandwich was great. I will update my review once I get the in-restaurant experience, which I am very excited for. For reference I got the Smokey Bayou Burger with no caramelized onions, sub pepper jack cheese, extra lettuce, extra pickles, extra tomato, add raw onions, add chipotle mayo.

Bob's Burgers was a hit with our group. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food and service made it worth it. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very personable, which added to the overall positive experience. The ranch dressing was exceptionally tasty, and the Au Jus was some of the best we've had. The burgers were cooked perfectly--juicy and flavorful, not overcooked (well done as a standard) like you might find at many other places. One person in our group ordered a steak and was very happy with his meal as well. We've typically gone to a nearby restaurant with a bear motif for team lunches, but after this visit, Bob's might just become our new go-to spot. The combination of great food and friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect choice.

First, our server, Zach (unsure of spelling) was wonderful. So friendly and attentive and had good recommendations for what to order. The food was so delicious! My husband also got the elk sliders, but he dug into them before I could get a picture. It was his favorite thing that he ate. The birria flatbread was just ok. We will not be getting it again. The wagyu burger was delicious and the fries were so perfectly crispy. Drinks were wonderful and they have a great full bar selection. I am not typically a carrot cake person because don't like raisins or nuts in my dessert. The flavor was great and the frosting wasn't too sweet. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it, especially with the crispy sugary carrots on top! We will definitely be back!

Upon entry, a very inviting restaurant with seating inside and outside. We voted for inside to enjoy our dinner. Service was great. The waiter was very attentive. Minimal guests in the restaurant but still had the workers running. Food was great. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it. And it was so large that I did not expect it for that price. Dessert was one of the best things as well. Clean restaurant, good amount of choices to pick, plenty of seatings, including the bar area. Parking was good as well.

Portions are absolutely massive, and most dishes are served with a cornbread topped with a cream/icing. When the server was placing them on other tables, I thought they were cinnamon rolls from the size! I ordered the "Th-th-th-that's all folks," which consisted of crispy breaded pork chops with grits, gravy, two eggs, potatoes, and cornbread. The serving size was massive and could easily be 2 meals (I had lots of leftovers). The porkchop had a great texture and wasn't too dry. Grits were creamy, and the cornbread itself was very delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, as we had servers coming by multiple times to top off coffee. This is a great breakfast spot in Sumner!

Without a doubt this is one of Tacoma's best dining experiences. Chef Shawn's team is small but mighty. The staff that we encountered were all super kind and attentive. It's widely known that Chef Shawn has a radiant personality and treats everybody in his restaurant like a longtime friend. He walked around chatting with everybody personally, showed off dishes as he walked through the restaurant, and was even happy to let diners take a peek at his kitchen (how does he make all this magic happen on TWO CAMP STOVES?!) The menu isn't massive, but everything on the menu is executed with precision and grace. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted but I've had my eyes on the Lobster Bomb for years. My husband got the "Tiny Burrito" which is quite literally the size of a newborn. The Lobster Bomb was excellent. Generous chunks of succulent lobster and the hollandaise was perfect! Subtle on the lemon flavor as to not overpower, but still rich and creamy. I tried my husband's burrito and the chorizo gravy is stellar. You could easily share this with 1-2 other people in my opinion. It lasted my husband two leftover meals! The restaurant itself is small but it's cozy and feels like you're at home. No frills, nothing over the top, nothing trendy. Just a relaxed vibe with lots of authentic touches from Chef Shawn. While this was our first visit it definitely won't be our last. Don't make the mistake I did and let years pass by before you experience Tibbitts!

This is a gem. Menu changes regularly so there is always something fresh and new. Prices may seem a little high for the area but the food and drink justify it. On my most recent visit we got 2 appetizers, two entrees (one was steak with shrimp add on), 3 desserts, and 5 cocktails for $250 which was not outrageous. Portion sizes are great. Food is full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We have sat on the restaurant side a few times but normally sit in a booth on the bar side. There is also a small patio off the bar in good weather. Bartenders are friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Only reason I knocked it a half star is the service on the bar side can be slow or feel forgotten about sometimes but it just depends on the time of day and if the bartender is having to do double duty or if they have dedicated wait staff in that area.

When we walked in, we had the option of going to the bar area or restaurant. We chose the bar. The place was spacious and had ample seating. We sat down and a gal came to our table to ask for our order. She immediately came off as very standoffish, but, all good, we were there to relax and enjoy. We ordered wings to start off with. Mind you, it was happy hour which she mentioned herself. Cool, thank you. The wings were decent but some were soggy. But it's all good. We then ordered an entree and more wings because we were hungry. Did another dozen wings in the buffalo sauce. Our waitress, Kalidawn, reiterating the wings were 2 orders. Didn't make sense but it did in the end as she was trying to separate the orders as "half orders" to charge more? When in reality, it was the same buffalo flavor for the dozen wings so it wasn't a "half order". Really? You're going to do all of that to get you an extra few dollars? She was already rude, dismissive, and bothered from the beginning. We try to look past these things but she was truly excessive. It's like she wanted to make a statement and hated that we weren't regulars. We ended up getting sick after eating here. The service was beyond disappointing and the food sucked, but we also got sick which was the cherry on the cake. We will never be back and hope others think twice. And to find out, Kalidawn is the manager at the restaurant. So don't even bother trying to complain about her horrible HORRIBLE service and attitude. She runs the place which makes sense as to why I'm sure they're struggling. Do better.

My brother was a chef du cuisine, not a cook. He taught me decades ago how to make a dining experience worthy of people's spending. This was not it. The food was amazing but left the experience me feeling as if I wasted my money. The grumpiness of the individual behind the bar where we sat and ate was showmanship beyond unprofessionalism. When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. Bartending is an art rooted in many aspects beyond drink making, especially if you are representing a business in service. No offers of drinks with empty drink glasses after rounds 1 and 2. No acknowledgement of empty dishes with wishes of subsequent courses that we were interested in. Yikes, this was bad.
