First off atmosphere was amazing. Everyone got what they wanted food wise except for me but that's okay - not my holiday. Kids got the gamut of burgers, steak, chicken strips. Wife got a bacon cheeseburger. Loved the heck out of it and wanted to come back again. My first time here so I got a Cajun burger. Picked up the burger and the bottom bun had soaked all the way thru and the lettuce and tomato fell all over the place. Top wasn't better as the grilled onions slipped out onto my clothes. Ended up just taking all the things that made it that type of burger and placed them into napkins to junk with the remainder of the fries. Gave them 3 stars, based on the average of everyone else loving it and me wanting to eat a bullet instead of this mess of a burger. read more

The customer service was good. however, the food was not great. The Hawaiian burger was more bland than the smokey Bayuo burger by far. It's great for kids and families but don't expect a great burger. A coworker told me of this place, final had a chance to try...OMG!!!! I don't know why I had waited so long. The service was great. The food extra extra yummy. I had the Hawaiian burger no bun with Jo-jo's and my husband had the prime rib dip. His sandwich was delicious I took a few bites. My burger tasted like it came off a bbq grill. The ambiance was nice, then again we showed up an hour after opening. I would highly recommended this place for lunch. We plan going back to try other stuff on the menu. read more

Needed lunch on Saturday and thought we would try Bob's. The place is nice inside and we got seated quickly. Once the server finally showed up we asked what she recommended and was told "Our fish and chips are very popular". So we ordered them. BIG MISTAKE! Not only were they not seasoned at all, they were greasy and they tasted of old fryer oil and looked the part. I hope the other dishes on the menu are better and the service can improve as this visit was not so good. read more

This place has gone absolutely down hill since it opened, the new manager is totally absurd and not customer oriented. He must think being rude gets you repeat customers. We come here several times a year since we live about 30 minutes away, we just moved closer so our visits definitely would have picked up. My wife tried to use her birthday burger and was berated by the manager for just wanting free food even though we had bought two kids meals another adult entree and drinks. First they claimed our code wasn't valid, then said we signed up at the Wenatchee location, which we've never ever been to Wenatchee at all. If you want to get berated by a low class college drop out who runs a crappy restaurant this is the place! You don't even have to pay Vegas prices like heart attack grill style to get it! ** I want to preface this by saying I ordered via doordash** The only reason that this got 4 stars instead of 5 is because the experience was outside the actual restaurant. I got a burger with additional things added (tomatoes, raw onions, sub cheese, etc.) with the Jojos. Now the sandwich was a little soggy, again, I expected this, because it was a to-go order. The first bite of the sandwich: absolutely spectacular. Even with a little soggy bun, the taste of the burger was DELICIOUS! I wish the burger might have been a little more medium rare. But even with it a little overdone, it was spectacular. Jojos were great, sandwich was great. I will update my review once I get the in-restaurant experience, which I am very excited for. Bob's Burgers was a hit with our group. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food and service made it worth it. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very personable, which added to the overall positive experience. The ranch dressing was exceptionally tasty, and the Au Jus was some of the best we've had. The burgers were cooked perfectly--juicy and flavorful, not overcooked (well done as a standard) like you might find at many other places. One person in our group ordered a steak and was very happy with his meal as well. We've typically gone to a nearby restaurant with a bear motif for team lunches, but after this visit, Bob's might just become our new go-to spot. I paid my first and last visit to Bob's Burgers this evening. There were very few customers there, which should have been a warning. We sat in the bar; the bartender was friendly and took our order quickly. I ordered the jalapeño burger and fries. I opted to skip the "special sauce" and asked for mustard instead. The food arrived pretty quickly, the fries were nice and hot and the ranch was good. The burger was barely room temp, and the bun felt and tasted like it came out of the cooler. Burger was way undercooked, and it was drowning in mustard. The overall flavor was extremely salty and made worse by the ridiculous amount of mustard on it. I will say they were very generous with the jalapeños. I only ate a couple small bites of the burger, it was very unappetizing. When the bartender came back he asked if I wanted a box, which I declined. When the check came he had only charged me half price for the burger, which was kind. My friend and I were in and out in less than 40 minutes, and will not return. With SO many great places to get a good burger on South Hill, Bob's is a hard no. So I got to Bob's Burgers in Puyallup with two mylar balloons, three latex balloons and roses for my daughter who's graduating and I walked in the door and the waitress or somebody met me at the door and said "we don't allow latex balloons here" in a really not nice way. So I said, "oh nobody told me" This is the most ridiculous thing in my life. I've never been kicked out of a restaurant before in my life unbelievable to be kicked out of a cheap burger joint restaurant or any other for that matter!!! The next thing I know we're being kicked out of the restaurant because they said I have an attitude problem! I simply said "oh nobody told me." I then proceeded to take the latex balloons off the balloons that I brought and walked them outside and I gave them to another customer so they wouldn't be in the restaurant. I walked back in the restaurant and the manager is yelling at my daughter telling my daughter that I'm being rude and they want us to leave the restaurant because they reserve the right to refuse service to anybody. I've never been kicked out of a restaurant before in my life and honest to God this is just a cheap burger joint. What the heck! Then he says to my daughter I told you four times that you're not allowed to block the door. My daughter says you told me once and we moved your tables. He says the tables are still blocking the door. There was no way those tables were blocking the door! And then he said all of you you need to leave! There are 23 of us and he just kicked us out of the restaurant because his hostess has an attitude problem and the manager is even worse. I will never eat in this place at all. Then my grandaughter "talked him down as long as I was controlled!!!! I then went on my phone and I called BJ's restaurant! Thank God for them! I told them the problem I asked if they had room for us and they said we have a back room and if you want it, we'll set it up for you right now! Our whole entire party is moved over to BJ's restaurant! I can't begin to tell you how miserable Bob's Burgers treated us! He said, You have been rude to my server and you are not welcome here!" First of all, I was never rude to the server and nobody in our party was rude to the server. The manager of this restaurant was absolutely rude to everybody. We are on our way to BJ's restaurant. Went in for a late lunch, pretty dead inside. The waitress was anything but welcoming, her words were limited to taking the order and then we didn't see her or anyone else until we had eaten and was waiting for the check. My burger was probably pinker than I should have eaten but I was pretty hungry. The mushrooms had a mustier than usual flavor and the bread was soggy. Fries were blanched, for lack of a better term, they weren't cooked all the way through and white, not golden. They should probably clean the tap lines, the blue moon had an off flavor as well. The burgers served in Bob's Burgers and Brews is one of the best in the PNW. They are fresh, moist and delicious combined with mushrooms, two stacks of fresh beef burgers with cheese, tomatoes and onions. The serving is quite big and will not disappoint. Also, the fried calamari and seafood plate is a must try when you come to this place. The service we received is quick and professional. The ambiance is great for any occasion. The sports bar is a nice place to seat if you want to watch games and drink beer and mixed drinks. The price is reasonable and they also offer military discount. They only have 1/3 of the items listed online- no teriyaki burger etc. They do have a notice when you come in that many menu items will be unavailable as they changing the menu- but most items listed for take out on Yelp and Uber are not actually on their menu. The food was good- we sat in the bar and while service was friendly enough we waited for a long time to even be acknowledged. Once food arrived it was delicious. The potato skins were well worth it! We got there as a group of 23 people. We had the room reserved for my daughter's graduation. You can imagine how much money that would've been for this restaurant! When we got there, I walked in the door with balloons. Congratulations as you would expect. I met with a very rude hostess that says, no latex balloons are allowed in this establishment. And then proceeded to take the balloons off the mylar balloons and I walked them outside and gave them to a customer that was waiting on a cab because they were already leaving. And I said we have 23 people coming. And he said we reserve the right to refuse service to anybody and we're refusing to serve service to you. OK fine! Prior to me getting there he was yelling at my daughter because he said she moved the tables in front of the door and when she proceeded to move the tables away from the front of the door, he said to her that he had told her four times that the tables were too close to the door and she needed to move the tables. She said no actually you told me once and I moved them and he said well you didn't move them far enough. I got on the phone and I called BJ's restaurant in Puyallup and I told them what happened and I said we have a group of 23 people. Do you have the ability to see us now if we come because we're here for a graduation party and we are not staying here in this restaurant for obvious reasons. BJ's immediately stopped what they were doing set up the tables for us. They were very polite and altogether as a group we spent almost $2000!!! as soon as the manager of Bob's burgers, the one that looked like he'd gotten out of bed five minutes ago didn't have a shower and didn't have clean clothes found out that we were going over to BJ's. He told my daughter that they were welcome to stay there as long as I was kept under control! I slept late due work on Saturday. It was Father's Day and Dad, and I found we were doomed so I said let's try Bob's. We parked-not empty but not jammed like every place else. We got in, greeted promptly and reviewed the menu options. I'd looked online some time ago and didn't see anything to make me jump but thank goodness I overslept. What has happened to Bobs!? Been coming to Bobs with my husband since they opened. We love sitting at the bar, it's a great bar. When we first started coming, we realized immediately that the burgers weren't anything to write home about. Just really not much going on, you can get a better burger at Red Robins, sadly! But we didn't let that stop us because they "had" great nachos and other apps that we were happy with when were drinking a cocktail or a mug of beer. It was a fun place to go. The service was good and the bartenders, always friendly. We loved Jenny especially! It had been a while since we had been in. The last time we went, probably early December '25, I know I'm late to review, it was the worst experience we have ever experienced anywhere on Southhill! The bartender/manager? I'm guessing. He wasn't very friendly at all. Actually he seemed quite annoyed being there. My husband is a very friendly talkative guy. He tried to make conversation and bartender just wasn't interested, that's fine. I wanted to try an espresso martini and so I asked if he thought they had good ones and he said yes. ICK! Tasted like there was grenadine in it . I was not happy. He did not care. In fact he started giving off vibes as if I was trying to just scam. Even though I didn't even drink half. I did try. Then we decided to order nachos, we were hungry! By far the worst nachos I have ever had! Came out with high priced unseasoned dried up chopped up burger patties, specks of cheese and some green onions. I mean it was like a joke! Then it seemed like bartender knew they were nasty so he just left us alone. Didn't ask us if we needed anything, nothing. It was terrible! Got our bill and got out of there. Bob's is our go to spot whenever we have family or friends visiting from out of state. We recently moved here from California and fell in love with this place. There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant. When you walk up to the entrance you see patio seating with a large artificial flame to keep folks warm. The interior has huge ceilings. The left side is the regular dining area with tables and booths and they have a large room for private events. On the right side is the sports bar and patio. Our party of 7 were able to be seated in the private room which gave us more space for our rambunctious kids. Our male waiter was so patient and attentive. He was so great with my autistic nephew as well. Another thing I really like about Bob's servers is that they're never stingy with napkins. I always use a bunch of napkins to clean my hands when I eat and at other places you ask for extra napkins and they give you 2. Now for the food. Portions are huge! What I love about Bob's is they always make the food just as you request it. I always request my fries extra crispy with no salt and they were made perfectly. My fish and prawns were delish, not overly battered at all. The pulled pork sandwich was also great and the bbq flavor wasn't overpowering. We also ordered Korean wings and sliders for appetizers and the kids loved them. They were out of coconut prawns this day but other then that they did not disappoint. I used to love this place. It isn't as great as it used to be but still pretty decent. Our waiter was super sweet and there was no wait when we were seated. Of course we had burgers and fries which I enjoyed. The inside is still as nice as I remember but it smelled like cigarette smoke. Used to be a great place to go mid-week. The bar had great employees and the atmosphere was nice. Well it's not the same lately. Those great employees are gone and it just pales in comparison. I live close to Bob's and really enjoy their food and atmosphere. They have a great bar area and happy hour with fantastic staff who keep your drinks filled and your food needs met. Generally several different sports ball games on the televisions if that is your thing. The burgers are -- as you'd hope -- fantastic. I also love their jojos and tots. My partner and I went to Bob's Burgers & Brew, Puyallup for their Veterans Day promotion. We have frequented the establishment several times before Veterans Day 2024. Both my partner and I are Army veterans and she, being a widowed spouse of a retired soldier, qualified for the Veterans Day promotion. On the 12th of November, the second day of the Veterans Day Promotion at Bob's Burgers & Brew, my partner and I presented our military ID's to be told that my friend was not eligible for the Veterans Day promotion since her ID card was indicated as spouse. In past visits to Bob's, my partner had presented her military for a military discount and was always accepted. The attendant left to consult with the manager about the situation. Soon, the manager appeared,Tim Loughner, to confronted my partner stating disrespectfully that too many people were trying to get a free meal claiming they qualified when they weren't present or former military. When my partner displayed her DD 214 proving that she was a legitimate veteran and qualified for the Veterans promotion the manager refused to look at her document. Our attempts to prove validity of our military service and veteran's status fell on deaf ears as the manager told us to leave and threatened that to call the police.
