Old timers get better service than the new comer. Ordering.a sausage cheese omelet proved to be laughable. The waitress never once asked if we needed coffee refill, water or smiled once. So uncomfortable. Food was so salty.

Really nice staff here with nostalgic decor and furniture. I enjoyed their 'broasted chicken' which is hand fried chicken with delicious potato wedges 'jojos'. Chicken was juicy and meaty with delicious seasoning. My son ordered a meat specialty omelette with a hot cocoa (comes heavy on whipped cream and sprinkles). My husband ordered a meat heavy breakfast item as well. We thought their portions were generous paired with delicious sauces and freezer jams. Sunday brunch anywhere is going to be busy, so we lucked out in having a table for 7 at the morning time we did. I would suggest calling ahead to find out times available for big parties, if possible. We will be back again! Still looking for a place that serves chicken and dumplings

Excellent little gem. I love places like this that have been around forever and don't need to go out of their way to impress you. This place is huge as well, there is an entire back dining area and bar. Service was great; greeted & seated right away. Got my lunch order in and food came out quick. I miss the down home diner food from back East; this place has it. Read through some of the previous reviews, and took a chance on this place, and so glad I did. People who dine out need to level set their expectations... otherwise they will constantly be disappointed. People in the restaurant business are some of the hardest working people I know, and they're human, just like us. Give everyone a little grace now and then. The food was good, the service and vibes were great. The portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. The place was clean, and there's plenty of parking. Can't ask for anything more. I have no complaints and will definitely be back.

I had a very good country fried steak. It's a very nice diner. Our server was Amy F and she was great. The booths are not fat friendly. Pass on the coffee though.

Came here for a brunch. Parking lot full...this place seems to be pretty packed during breakfast/brunch times. Service was great. Food is mediocre. The home fries were hard. I do like coming here because it just seems like an old school place with with a relaxed ambiance, some homemade items, but food can be hit or miss.

The food & service was great! The server checked in on our table multiple times & asked if I wanted whipped cream when he overheard me looking for help. I finished everything on my plate. I tried the Special Huckleberry French Toast (along with a side of hash browns) and it was all very good. If you like crispy hash browns, ask for them well done.

Food was really good! It tastes like how it looks, delicious asf! Good service, checked if I needed water twice, and checked if I was eating good! Good experience for sure! Give it a try, you must!

I liked this place for breakfast. It definitely was an old school diner. I had a California scramble. It was a decent portion. It had avocados and spinach and bacon. It was basically bacon bits in the scramble, I would have preferred actual pieces of bacon. Service was efficient and friendly. Overall, a decent breakfast spot.

Lobster Omelet, Home Fries, Pancakes, and a side of SOS sauce. Sorry I started digging into my pancakes right away!!!

Well, I've had the club sandwich which she said was very good and I'll tell you what happened from the looks of it it was definitely good. I had the pastrami Benedict, I will say that that missed the mark. There are two reasons that really miss the mark. One of them was the hollandaise sauce, which was extremely runny and a very pale yellow, which told me that they added too much liquid to it, and there wasn't enough fat or it was just a powdered mix and they over mixed it, and it had no flavor to it. The main reason I was disappointed was the pastrami they used, they used deli, sliced pastrami and chopped it up. If you're going to have a pastrami Benedict on your menu, make sure it's actual pastrami chunks and it is tender. The deli pastrami did not have any flavor to it. I asked our server about it and she said that one of the other girls that worked there really liked it and she ate it all the time, but it was too spicy for her. I will tell you right now. There was literally no spice to that dish at all nor was there seasoning. I would go back and try something different as everything else on the menu looks good and I give every breakfast restaurant at least two tries.
