After a brutal 5.2-mile brisk walk early this morning, I knew I was getting hungry since I skipped breakfast and only had a coffee from Starbucks. A friend of mine told me about this place since I rarely go up North on Beach passed Edinger where Bella Terra is. As I said, I was hungry for some food, so when I stepped inside, I was looking over the menu, and had to switch back and forth between the beef burrito and the pastrami sandwich. So, I took the beef burrito. Now, I assume a burrito that size wouldn't fill me up much since I go on a 20-25 mile walk/run per week. So I took the beef burrito and the chili cheese fries, and the portions were pretty good for a la carte. The fries were piping hot with the chili poured on top, but my burrito was okay, nothing to write home about. When you order Onion Rings they should at least offer condiments like Ranch dressing. They only offer me ketchup. I'm so disappointed with this place. Been coming here for years and this is how they treat me. Ranch dressing should be free condiments with onion rings. Bob's Burgers has been around for a really long time and it's taken me a while to finally try it. I was in the area and had a hankering for the fried zuchinni fries you get from ubiquitous burget joints. So I ordered those and a BLT sandwich on sourdough since I was in the mood for a burger. The fried zuchinni were hot, crispy and didn't disappoint. I'd definitly order those again. The side of ranch dressing that accompanied it was pretty standard. Would like to state we have been coming here for years and we loved bobs burgers. The service today was terrible they were so unorganized they had 3 people work on my order just for them to still get it wrong then blame me while over charging me. They didn't even offer to give us the receipt so we had to go back. We had noticed and went back and was greeting with more attitude and all we wanted was a better explanation why we're over charged without our order being correct. A simple fix but the man behind the register decided to cut us off and wave his hand in our face. Cops even got involved when no one was attacked or threatened just to give us a receipt with double tax with no explanation. We still tried to add the total but we never ordered m1 all our extra sauces n items and even the tax is included. In my never-ending quest to find the best fried zucchini in Orange county, I was nearby and had to stop at this greasy spoon spot. I ordered the cheeseburger special, with fried zucchini instead of french fries, and I added a side of thousand island in addition to my ranch, all of which came out to be $15. I was immediately impressed with the friendly service at the counter, which is pretty unusual for a spot like this. The burger was nothing to write home about, but tasty nonetheless. He assured me it was not my order that it was Chicken Quesadillas that was returned. Now, onto the review on my order. They were delicious as remembered, I practically finished half the order. The chili is better than Tommy's if you need a comparison. It's just like an small local burger joint that makes the chili with so much fat, that it suits my monthly cravings. Besides the service being awfully long, and making me even more hangry because I had to wait long to make my order and even longer to wait for the person infront of me to get their order, then for me to wait 2 mins for my order, it all adds up to 15 mins. I've been ordering food to pickup there for about eight years. Great food and great people.

I usually come here for their fried chicken dinner and especially their hot sauces. Well, this visit will be the last. Drove up to the drive thru and ordered their fried chicken 4pc dinner with 3 red and 3 green side of hot sauces. I know they give them out as complementary, but I figure I'll pay for them since I'm asking for 6. The total amount came out to be 22.23... yikes. They definitely took advantage of the hot sauce pricing, so I thought. I tipped them $2 in the cup and went on my way. Luckily, I took a look and there were only 2 green hot sauces. Came back ask for 2 red hot sauces and the lady told me she didn't hear me ask for them. All in all 22.23 + $2 tip = $24.23 - 4 bread buns (super generous with those :) ) - 4 pieces of chicken (pretty small if you look at it) - huge amount of fries ( they gave a lot of ketchup though) - 2 red/2 green hot sauces I'm not the type to complain about little stuff and I know times are pretty tough right now but listing $14 for the fried chicken dinner and the total coming out to $22.23 after tax and all is pretty shady, don't you think ;) read more
