We ordered a couple of giant burritos to go. We got shredded chicken for the protein, it came with rice, choice of beans, cheese, lettuce, charo sauce and pico. I didn't realize but after we brought it home we saw it came with a side of chips and the pico salsa on the side (not pictured). Similar to another reviewer, get the LEMON GARLIC. It's the move to make if you don't want to be disappointed. I've actually never tried anything else but have been coming here the past few months, at least 2-3x/week and always get the 4 Piece Chicken Meal. It comes with either corn or flour tortillas and 2 sides. I always get the charo rice and mashed potatoes. It hits every single time. A pint container absolutely stuffed with the freshest spring salad mix, cheese, tomatoes, and corn strips. First time here and I ordered the spicy chicken bowl but substituted the chicken for steak. Was initially excited because the bag seemed a bit heavy which I figured would be the case because the reviews I read about this place says the portions are generous. I've had the tostada salad and the apple cranberry salad, both of which are big and beautiful with delicious homemade dressings, tons of toppings, and super good chicken. The salads are large enough to split into two meals or share between two people. I also tried the Moe's Famous Potato, which was a bit too greasy and oily for me and I wouldn't recommend if you are sensitive to that. Quick service, great for an easy dinner or lunch. Not sure if the staff is poorly trained or just not good! I called to order a 16 piece combo and asked for 8 pieces lemon garlic and 8 pieces spicy cayenne. I was told they couldn't do that. They could sell me 16 plain pieces with the spices on the side and I could coat them myself. When asked why, the girl in the phone said that's how they sell it if I want to mix spices. I asked if I ordered a 16 pc all one flavor would it come with the spices on it and she said yes. I then asked if I ordered two 8 pcs would they come ready to eat and she said yes. So asked again why they couldn't make 8 pcs of lemon and 8 pics of spicy and put them in one container. She said they don't do that. I was really confused. She offered to sell me 2 8 pc combos but ordering the 16 pc saves a few bucks so I wanted that. Again I told the girl I didn't understand and she told me she's not the cook and that's how they do (all said with an attitude). I hung up and decided to order Super Pollo in Costa Mesa. Great service at this location today!! Today we ordered Charo Chicken for our dinner choice this afternoon. Edwin handled our order and was thorough, helpful and very polite. Jack was our delivery driver and we're thankful for him getting our food here safely and in all in one piece. Seriously thankful that Charo Chicken delivers all the one way on the other side of HB.
