The recipe is the owner's. "Docks" is the owner's copyrighted brand. It is fully prepared from scratch on site and I believe it is only sold out of this location. The fries were really crispy and fresh but the reason I took one star off is because the oil made them taste fishy...it was probably old oil or they used it to try their seafood but they had a fishy aftertaste which I wasnt a fan of. Service was quick and easy like any other drive-thru place. People working there were friendly as well. And the two drive thru lines made it so we can get our food faster. Mission Burgers is Wenatchee's hometown favorite for smashburgers-- typically…read moredouble-meat-double-cheese burgers, with meat patties literally smashed thin and fried on high heat to create a thick, intensely browned bark. It's Burger King on steroids! You won't find tomatoes on the menu board, but almost every other combination of garnish (and companion meats) are options. I went with their stated classic, the "OG Mission" ('original gangster') burger. It is delicious, albeit noticeably greasy, due to the extra-high fat content of the ground beef. But that's where the rich flavor comes from. What Mission Burgers is doing right is highly seasoning the meat with salt and pepper, then punching up the flavor with pickles, red onion, and their special sauce. Add to that the richness of the cheese and the crusty, grilled bun--this is the winning combination at the base of all their other burger options. The other thing I really appreciate is, their straightforward pricing without trying to upsell their ingredients. The add-ons are inexpensive--slice of cheddar is $.50 compared to EZ's $1.47 for the same. Two suggestions: - drain the grease off the patties before assembly, - don't fold the wrapper in half... wrap the burger in a full sheet, stronger paper if necessary, keep it from leaking all over clothing. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience this time. We like to sit in the bar area. It was slow when we wandered in and sat at the bar, but the bartender seemed bored and completely unenthused. She took our drink order and then disappeared for a while. A group of locals sitting nearby were singing loudly to the speaker music. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying--they might have been over-served. We actually had to ask someone else to order an appetizer: the Pimento dip. The dip itself was delicious, but the accompanying veggies were a little slimy. The dish looked beautiful initially, but we couldn't eat some of the vegetables because they weren't fresh. Anyway, it's a shame. Based on this experience, we probably won't be back.

The rib eye I got was medium and the salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce and a ton of croutons, dressed with Italian dressing. I did enjoy the baked potato! It was a large size and cooked perfectly. It was served with a mound of melted butter in the center of the potato and had little serving cups of sour cream, bacon bits (real), and shredded cheese. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed with the amount of diners, but still performed their job with excellence. I enjoyed the eclectic decor. There was the front end of a car, an old (1950s era) gas pump, and a pictures of famous historic figures.
