Love love love! Usually dine at the Plano location but had family in town, visited twice in a week and really enjoyed both visits. The restaurant is beautiful, staff is wonderful, and food amazing as always!

All of the steaks are paired with glazed carrot & a variation of potatoes.

Went here for my husband's birthday. The service was excellent. Ambiance: It's an upscale restaurant but the ambiance was not what I was expecting. The building is very small & tables are cramped together. It's so loud in the restaurant that you can barely make conversation without really raising your voice. The service & food made up for it though. We always get a tomahawk for his birthday & they did not disappoint. The chef cooked it perfectly medium rare. All of the steaks are paired with glazed carrot & a variation of potatoes. The presentation of the carrot is underwhelming. The spinach & mushrooms was salty but when we mixed it with the smashed potatoes. I highly recommend the calamari as appetizer. For dessert my husband wanted the brownie & Wowzers the dessert here is Texas size for the brownie dessert they paired it with 3 different type of ice cream.

Bob's steakhouse was the sweetest surprise. My husband and I had never been here before, but we will now be customers for life. I have to give our waiter, Jay, the biggest shout-out. He was so knowledgeable, impressionable, and charismatic. When we go back, I'll probably request him specifically to be our waiter. He had so many suggestions and never led us astray. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, the bacon slice, French onion soup, lobster bisque, ribeye, filet mignon, and the peanut butter chocolate sundae for dessert. We also had the old fashioned, dirty martini, and the espresso martini. Everything was impeccable. We're newlyweds and this was the best meal we've had since our honeymoon! I assume we'll be back for our birthdays and for our anniversary. I can't imagine fine dining anywhere else.

My first time here! I was attending a birthday dinner. The food was exquisite. I had sea bass, my wife had shrimp scampi. The service was excellent, it's pricey but good

Our server, Sam, was amazing. I can't imagine a better night than what she afforded my wife and I. This is the second time this restaurant has brought sweet memories . I want anyone reading this to know Sam is a kind, genuine human being. She presented humility and compassion when we had an issue with our order. She leaped into action and had our situation resolved quickly. I thanked her for sacrificing a Friday night to be of service. If you go here, please request Sam if you want an exclusive, intimate experience. Food was amazing!

I came here for a pharmaceutical dinner through work, and overall, the food was quite good. We were in a nice private room. The restaurant itself is dark so get ready . We had private servers so they were on top of it! One small suggestion--consider serving the cocktail sauce on the side with the shrimp, since not everyone enjoys it. I wasn't a fan of the champagne vinaigrette, but that's just personal taste. The steak, however, was outstanding--perfectly cooked with a flavorful crust. The bread and corn were also delicious and definitely stood out. I took the dessert bites to go, and the carrot cake was hands down the best I've ever had. Pro tip: if you have leftover bread, take it home and turn it into French toast--it was incredible. Would absolutely love to come back again!

We celebrated my mom in laws 75th birthday party and wow they hosted us so well! We were in the wine room and needed one extra space they accommodated without issue. Food was spectacular from the appetizer boards to the filets, lobster and sea bass!! Simply amazing . Brian our serve was attentive and with a large party his service was top notch, we didn't want for anything! We also had another lady whose name we didn't capture but she made the night special!!!! We can't wait to come dine again, keep up the amazing work!

My wife and I have lived in Dallas since 2019 and hadn't visited a Bob's until last week. Jarvis (our server) was fantastic and Jenny (manager) really took things over the top! I got an Australian wagyu ribeye BMS 8+ and I'm seriously considering this to be the best steak I've ever eaten! The old fashions were fantastic, wine pick by Jarvis was top notch! Thank yall so much! We'll definitely be coming back!

First off Demetri was the best server I've ever in my life!! The service first off exceeded everything. He took care of my party of 4 and my mother for her birthday. The lamb chops were a 10/10! All of the sides were so great! The macaroni was my favorite out of the spinach, broccolini, asparagus, but everything was really good. The ambiance was very luxury, grown & sexy, perfect for celebrations. I can't wait to come back!!

This is an amazing location, the ambience is on another level ... Bobs in McKinney, must have one of the best managers and chef, because the food and service is five star all the way .. My wife and I visit this location every chance we get .. We have never had a bad experience , staff is always upbeat and professional, their lounge is a great place to start the evening, with great drinks and awesome bartenders... If you get a chance, enjoy an evening with friends or family at Bobs in McKinney....

The steaks, sides, drinks and apps are always excellent here. The carrot cake is the best i've had. Love Bob's! We had exceptional service from Demetrius. Ask for him!

For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. It felt like a Texas steakhouse experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in the Dallas area.

Burger had absolutely no flavor to the meat, chicken fried steak was a thin slice like you would see in a small diner and bland! corn bread had absolutely no hint of "corn bread flavor". The ribs tasted ok but they were average at best. Very overpriced, average food now. Stood at the bar for 5 min being ignored by the bartender even after we made eye contact several times and he knew I had a question (not busy at all). Instead he continued to talk to the couple in front of him and straight up dismissed my presence. I Finally walked over directly in front of the bar tender and asked for a price menu. They had a great selection but everything was marked up 200% on a pour, and that's 200% on TOP of what most restaurants already mark up. It's a shame. Not sure if it's under new management or what but that was a terrible experience Whiskey cake is way better, food is better, all the staff is amazing and their drinks are fairly priced!

Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. One server commented they hadn't worked on a Monday in years and another stated (not from a podium or anything) that it was the busiest she's seen the place in a while. The owner/manager even stopped by to thank us for coming in. The service was impeccable (I think that means good) and there were multiple people bringing things and taking things. For a party of 6, they kept up with drinks, accommodated the 1 white wine drinker amongst 5 reds, and kept up with cocktails and waters for proper dilution. Foodwise, it was terrific. We had a few appetizers to share, miscellaneous entrees and even dessert. Two diners split two entrees and they brought it out with two smaller portions of risotto and a nicely bifurcated filet. My filet was delicious and although it was a tad over my desired temp, it didn't hit the next level. And that lemon cake for dessert was worth feeling too full afterwards. It wasn't overly pricey considering two bottles of wine, cocktails, appetizers, etc. I'd go back again for the welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and cheaper than the national chains pricing.

The service was exceptional. We've never felt so welcomed, like we were visiting an old friend. It was not busy, and the staff was extremely attentive. We had questions about a few items, and they took their time to explain/answer. Regarding the steak (which is why I chose it)... I ordered the NY strip (leaner cut), which is my go-to. It was so well cooked, so tender, I could have sliced it with a spoon (the knife they brought me, clinked very loudly against my plate, it went through so easily). Everything else we ordered, from appetizer to sides to dessert, was equally well prepared (and presented). To be fair, it was not inexpensive, but we have spent similar amounts (or more), at "highly recommended" places, and felt rushed, and had steaks that were of a much lower quality. We wish we had discovered Andreas sooner. Can't wait to go back.
