After trying 3 local pizza shops with not much satisfaction....we decided to try this place after visiting the yogurt shop nearby! I was so excited to dig into some great pizza , but not tonight. This pizza isn't any better then frozen pizza. The crust and sauce is the same as a frozen pizza from the grocery store! The wings were frozen when they came and I still haven't cooked them, but my expectations are low! Is there any good pizza places in this city? Excellent pizza but pickup is more like 35-45 minutes rather than 25. So take your time and don't listen to their gestimation. U can probably knock out an episode of game of thrones before picking it up! read more

The best pizza in Modesto hands down. People argue with me about this all of the time until we have them over for Bob's. We often get the combination and have no problem finishing it. My wife and I consider it our guilty pleasure because it is a good size pizza for the price and it tastes so good we can't stop eating until it's gone. Last week a friend brought over a bell pepper, mushroom, olive, and pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! I was told by a friend that this place has the best take and bake pizza. So I finally tried it yesterday. Club Chicken on sourdough crust cooked amazing and tasted like REAL pizza. Not TnB! Bomb bomb! Staff was a little socially awkward but I fit right so I liked them. People bitching about their service, I don't know what they're talking about. This establishment is located in the charming Roseburg Square and has been a modesto gem for a very long time. Not only is their pizza good, it is comparable to the much less quality of take and bake chain, Papa Murphys. There are a few pizzas I don't care for, but it's a topping preference, really. Grossly Understate order ready times and horrible customer service. I have ordered from Bob's twice now... I regret both. The first time was on Halloween 2014, my wife ordered two large Pizzas at 4:05PM, and was told they would be ready in an hour, aka 5:05. I arrived at 5:25, they had not started our Pizzas and I waited until 5:50. When I commented to the man working the register, he just said, "Its Halloween, what do you expect". My kids liked the pizza, and living within walking distance, we thought we would give it another chance.. assuming they were jut having a bad night. I ordered a pizza at 4:15, was told 35 minutes... We walked in the place at 4:55 (40 mins later). we were told they were making the pizza... 20 mins later still did not have our pizza, my wife asked for a refund... the woman behind the counter was extremely rude, and told her that they were short staffed, and would need to bear with them, and that she did not know how to issue a refund. Standing there with my Screaming 1 year old... which apparently, does not give them any sense of urgency we waited for another 10 mins and finally got our pizza at 5:25pm. During our wait, there was a man and a wife, who had waited for more than an hour, after ordering 30 mins in advance, and a man, who after waiting 30 mins past his scheduled, time, they forgot his bread sticks and he had to come back. And surprise, surprise, gave him attitude, and said that if he called later to complain to Bob, he would probably give him 10% off his next order. And despite acting like we were the jerks for not understanding that they were short staffed, they were still quoting 35 mins to all the phone orders coming in. I am assuming that Bob was the gentleman that could have cared less about my wait on Halloween, so assuming bad customer service starts at the top here. I just joined Yelp to complain about this place. I get that places miss-match staffing to demand.. but I have waited in there store a combined 1 hour waiting for a "TAKE AND BAKE PIZZA". 1) how bad are you at understanding your processing times... 2) how are you not completely apologetic, and giving out free pizzas, or free drinks, or at least a half off coupon so that I might come back... I don't know how they do it. For a take and bake pizza it is in my opinion the best pizza in town. The flavor beats out any pizza restaurant around. The crust has the good taste and texture and you can taste that the meats and vegetables are high quality. It sometimes even Taste' s better the next day!! read more

I have been coming here for years. It is hands down the best take and bake pizza place you will ever find. Papa Murphy's really is a poor showing compared to them. I've tried many of the pizzas on the menu, but my favorite is the chicken bacon mushroom parmesan. Toppings are plentiful on all the pizzas. Order it the sourdough crust and always use the baking paper in lieu of a pizza pan. Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. They get very busy about 5pm, so order early! read more

Always fabulous. Cant go wrong with this local fav. Love when they have their small frozen pizzas for sale. I always buy a few, so I can bake later in the week and add my own toppings! (leftovers, really. ) love that they put the parchment paper so you can cook directly on rack (i've tried my Trager bbq recently, and OMG!!) only thing is maybe more fun toppings, blue cheese, arugla, anchovies, figs, goat cheese..etc...but it's take n bake, so I need to get over my high standards, haaah!! The only way to get piping hot pizza at home and it tastes soooooo delicious. Way better than Papa Murpheys or Costco take and bake pizzas. Went to the Ceres, CA location. Friendly staff and clean looking food prep area. Ordered the XL 1/2 combo 1/2 pepperoni for my family of 4. It was perfect. They provide parchment paper to use for baking the pizza. The baking instructions gives you recommendations based on the heating element in your oven. The result is a delicious pizza so hot with ooey gooey melted cheese. read more

This is a great place to get a pizza . I order the meat lovers stuffed pizza and have them add more toppings to the top (my invention) . They got curious and weighed it lol 7lbs and only cost $20.43. If you order it like that add 4 minutes to the cooking time . It takes about twenty minutes so I go over to obriens market and grab groceries.. Always great service for me . Been going here for years. Quality food, great prices, and awesome customer service. They have a great whole-wheat alternative Thur-Sat. The original and sourdough is a win win as well. Great pizza if you cook it using the baking sheet and a slotted pizza sheet pan.Ordered the special chicken with the works. I thought it was too wet in the middle after I cut it:( So I broiled it for 5 min and it came out perfect!! The salad was really fresh and the dressing was home made. Our family loves their pizza. It's always very fresh and tastes amazing! Every Friday night we order a pizza from here. Our favorite pizza is the pepperoni or the bbq chicken pizza. When we decide on the bbq chicken we add sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, and pour more bbq sauce on the top of the pizza after we bake it at home.
