Found this place on yelp cause we were going to be attending Laugh Factory across the street.... It's a bit confusing because the entrance says "3 vinos".. but it's the actual entrance. So our reservations were for 7.. got seated right away, waitress came by and took our order. The food didn't take long to come out, but they made several mistakes.My husband ordered a burger that came with an egg and avocado (which they decided to bring out a few minutes after separately,I got a "skinny jeans salad".. and it was missing half the ingredients the menu claimed it had... my brother in law ordered a dessert that had a side of whiskey, but they never brought until we questioned them about it....i could understand if they were busy .. but it wasn't Would not go back to eat ... but music was on point...unfortunately won't be back. read more

A group of friends and I went to this place on a Friday night. We were shocked seeing the prices, this place thinks it's Vegas! Drinks at $22, are you kidding me!? Actually Vegas drinks are still cheaper than this dump! The prices are beyond ridiculous! First off, it took a while to get my drink and mind you it was not busy all, they had plenty of empty tables. I ordered the Liso drink which was recommended by the waiter and it sucked! It was not strong at all, it did not even give me a head change and not to mention full of ice! I wished I would've taken a picture of it before I drank it as well. For the inconvenience of taking forever with our drinks we were given passes to go upstairs to 3 Vinos and it sucked too! Came to check it out for my husband birthday. We were seated and ordered drinks. The drinks took 25 minutes for three cocktails and four waters. We ordered appetizers, and the waitresses takes all the menus, and we ask to keep one. We ordered the firecracker salmon and pork nachos. The waitresses comes back 15 minutes later to chicken or asada nanchos. We tell her the menu says pork, and she says there is no pork. She leaves and then comes back and say they do not have chesse or crema. We told her forget it just bring the firecracker salmon, which was spicy. Super. Hard. Pass. Made reservations for 4, but the hostess couldn't seem to find them for about five minutes, then found them. Sat down at a table, and saw there were three staff behind the bar and one walking around. Hostess said she would be back with waters, and left menus. Lemon Drop=$22...? I started to talk, well I mean yell, at my friends. The music/noise reminded me of being at a concert. But we weren't, we were at a restaurant, I thought. We still looked over the menus, yelled at each other some more, looked at the crazy cocktail pricing, looked at the staff behind the bar not doing anything (two were texting) and after about 8 minutes our ears were bleeding and we left. And never got those waters. I noticed all the 1 and 2 star rating today, the day after our 15 or so terrible minutes at the Bodega Bar & Grill, and would agree with them. This is our first review of Bodega, but third visit. We gave it 3 chances to impress us but sadly each time we were not wowed. Service The service was 2.5 out 5, OK, the bartender was nice and patient while we asked about the beer and menu. He wasn't super knowledgeable on what was on tap and what the special beer was for the day. After we got our food, he didn't come by to check on us until I asked for the tab. I should note there were only 4 customers at the bar (including my party of 2) and a few tables in use. Not more than 12 customers inside the restaurant/bar. Another server behind the bar was using her cell phone in front of customers and kept her purse up next to the cash register. If I was the manager, I'd try to keep a consistent and professional look and make sure my servers were attentive. Beer 2 out of 5. My husband is a self-proclaimed craft beer connoisseur and he could not take more than a few sips of his Stone IPA. Each visit, he thought maybe that specific pour was bad but now 3 times, the beer was flat. Taps are dirty or something is up with their draft system. I rate it 2 stars because they have a decent selection that's different than other local bars. If their draft system was cleaned out, maybe the beer would taste better. Food 2 out of 5. Menu is pretty decent, nice selection and assortment of Latin / typical pub food. We had pork nachos and smashing burgers. Pork nachos were a little dry. The plate must have sat a little too long under the heat lamp. Smashing burger is a big portion/thick patty. Juices running down the bread was a good sign. Both burgers were not cooked to temperature requested though. Fries were OK, crispy but the oil tasted a little too burnt. Overall, we were excited to see Bodega open up after the highly anticipated Slaters 50/50 fell through and its replacement F3V also shut down. Let's just start off by saying that Moreno our waiter was amazing. We ordered a drink and even though he was not familiar with it, he went out of his way to let the bartender know. A few minutes later a bartender showed up with the drink, and wholesomely stated "I've never made it a "Salt & Pepper" so let me know if it is good, and I can try again if you don't like it. The drink ended up being very good ( so thank you Mr Bartender). And let's not short the fact that Mr. Moreno, makes the most amazing Arnold Palmer I have ever had! We ordered the empanadas (sorry no pics, we gobbled them up) they were out standing! Juicy and the crust was perfect. Had the pork belly sliders. They were super tasty, but I wish there was a better sear on it, the pieces are thick, so I had to slice it in half, but still totally worth it, I ate all three. The fries are also served hot and fresh. The hubby had grilled chicken w/Besto Pesto, he loved it and staid it was seasoned perfectly. Our friends had the wings which were good but need to be sauced a little bit more. They were seasoned well. Sadly, we had a bad experience when we tried this place for the first and last time. We tried to get a drink on Friday after work around 6 or 6:30 pm, the host actually was really nice and welcoming. Told us to go ahead sit at the bar. After that it was a total different experience. The bar tenders ignored us, never made eye contact, helped the people next to us (side eyed us) and not once said they will be helping us "eventually". They were dancing and talking amongst each other, not busy at all. Finally, after sitting there for almost 10 minutes my husband and I walked out. Waitress say " someone ran to smart and final to buy some buns" 7:00 pm roll by and than burgers were sent to the table but no fries because they ran out!!! Take CASH! We got our bill noticed a surcharge fee for using their NEW Debt Card gadget. Then the witness trying to be sneaky clicked 20% Tip. It's up to my discretion how much tip I want to leave. We paid went down the street to a local bar with the same new gadget to pay and guess what NO ADDED Surcharge! Also drinks are inconsistent at the bar some are on point and some are poorly made. My first time at bodega was back on 1/21/23 and the experience was good and I kept telling the family we should go, so I decided to take the family yesterday 2/19/23 Sunday afternoon We got there and to my surprise there was only one server so we waited long time to be seated The waitresses comes and take us to our table and handed us the menus, by the time she came back to take our order she mention that they were out of pork and salmon that's half of their menu, she should have told us that right from the beginning so we don't choose plates that weren't available It took a very long time to get our food out and when we finally got our plates everything was cold, dry and lacking of flavor. The ambiance was nice...The staff and our server we had was great! I'm not writing this to be mean but to hopefully get the owners attention because I know this place is fairly new and needs to work thru things to become a really nice place with delicious food. 1. The plates should've been brought out before the food, had to ask for them when the food was brought out. 2. When we received the nachos, the meat on it was cold, the cheese wasn't that hot either. 3. The chicken wings and onion rings were good and flavourful however the temperature was not as hot as they should be when first brought out. The fries were the hottest food that came out. 4. We tried this new place last night for the first time and were very impressed with the food, service, and ambiance. Great place to catch a game with friends or for date night. They have a huge selection of craft beer on tap, lots of screens for sports fans, and incredible food. My daughter had the 50 shades of blue burger with bacon and I ordered the Atlantis salad with firecracker salmon, everything was fresh and delicious! We also had (not pictured) the firecracker salmon, riblets, Tajín fries, and wings for appetizers which were all amazing as well. How are you going to offer a Burger/Fries/Beer Special and run out of buns and fries?!? ‍ I decided to take my parents in for the special on Tuesday evening. Once we were finally seated, we placed our order for the Burger/Fries/Beer special. Sadly, we were told that we could only choose from 4 beer selections... only 1 out of the 4 beers were good options though (please reevaluate your selections). And our beer took a good 10 mins to be delivered to us... don't know why because the bar area was almost empty. From there, maybe 20 mins in after placing our food order, the server tells us that the kitchen ran out of buns! How?! We proceeded to wait because we at least had two appetizers to munch on. After one hour of waiting for our burgers, we see the table behind us get their food before us! They were seated at least 30 mins after us! At this point we were all mad. But wait, it gets better... They finally bring out our burgers (this is one hour after ordering them) and there's no fries on the plate! The server says "oh, they didn't tell you we ran out of fries?" Cmon!! We told them we didn't want them and as we were about to leave... the manager seemed very indifferent about what happened. He just said he'll cover the drinks we ordered... but pls, at least take responsibility and own up to the service failures here! The two female servers we had were very attentive and sweet but there is obviously a terrible line of communication at this restaurant. Running out buns and fries while offering a burger/fries/beer special (and heavily promoting it on social media) is just UNACCEPTABLE. I was really excited once I heard this place opened (I love beer and they have 40 on tap) but after this experience, I am VERY hesitant about returning and even recommending it to my friends and family who live locally. read more
