I am in heaven! Baltimore has a good Thai restaurant..finally! My husband and I ate here two nights in a row, we were so impressed. The first night we had tom kha soup, chive dumplings, drunken noodles with tofu and green curry with chicken. Plus a Thai iced tea. All 10/10. The second night we had summer rolls, papaya salad, pad Thai and panang curry with chicken. Again, a perfect meal. I am so delighted that I can eat fantastic, authentic, delicious Thai food! I was told the chef ran a restaurant in Thailand, and pounds all the curry paste from scratch, and I am not surprised. Folks - this is the real deal. One word of advice, do not eat here if you are rushed. The food takes time to prepare and you will be well rewarded for the wait. Then tonight I asked for the shrimp summer rolls and asked for extra peanut sauce and got some other sauce and one side of crushed peanuts? One of the things I love about Thai food is the appealing bright, crunchy, fresh vegetables of various textures and colors. This restaurant offers several dishes with fresh veggies, which is why I love this place. I order take out delivery from here from time to time but would order more often if there were more fresh vegetable choices or more salads on the menu. The dishes here and damn near perfect. The soups and curries really shine. If you're a drunken noodle fan or pad thai fan, you won't be disappointed. Went here yesterday after reading the great review in Baltimore Magazine. They were right, this is real Thai food. Cute restaurant, nice ambience and vibe. We went for lunch so it wasn't too busy. We shared two appetizers and two entrees: Won Ton Soup, Shrimp Rolls, Chicken Prad Prik and the spicy Flounder. Each dish had its own unique flavors and tasted so fresh. Ordered old favorites: Summer Roll (shrimp), Noodle of the Drunk (pork), Sate (chicken) and Tom Yum Gai soup. The food here was very tasty and flavorful, we will be back for more sometime soon! The beef prik king and chicken drunken noodles were the main highlights of our meal, but the chive dumplings were also very good. The fried vegetable rolls were pretty standard and OK. Waiting times were long this weekend, and the place was very crowded. Perhaps the staff will become more efficient over time. But I can see why it's so popular! There were tiny black pieces stuck on my food which came from burnt pan. Shrimps were also relatively small compared to other Thai places. Low quality and unpleasant experience. The fried eggplant had no seasoning at all, the Tom Kha was spicy but lacked depth, the duck with rice was precooked cold unseasoned duck, the Thai sausage tasted distinctly American and the pineapple fried rice-- I've made better, and I'm not Thai. My favorite Thai place to pick up from! Bodhi Corner is about a 25 minute drive from where I live and although there are other Thai places around, it's definitely worth the drive. I usually order through Yelp, pick up my food and eat it at home. Most days, this has been smooth sailing. Once or twice I've had to deal with servers who seem to be having a bad day. The drunken noodles and pad Thai are both my favorite so far! I'm not a huge fan of their chicken as it's usually huge, dry slices of meat that ends up in the trash so I've been ordering veggie dishes. The noodles do not disappoint! I've been to other local Thai restaurants and they're always overly oily, not seasoned or just plain bad. Bodhi corner wraps your food to go very well so there has never been a spill or leak for me AND the food is still hot by the time I sit down to eat! Tried the Bodhi Corner for the first time, at lunchtime today. Nice to have this Thai dining option in Hampden. Food, service, price were all fine. The no-fuss/no-charge BYOB is nice. Two of us enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Red Curry. Only modest complaint: at the height of the lunchtime crowd, the conversation-noise level became bothersome. The low ceiling and somewhat-unadorned walls could benefit from sound-dampening. Certainly will be returning regularly for lunch. read more

Saturday night hours - close at 10:30. We arrive at 9:45 PM and were seated. Server informed us that the kitchen will be closing soon. We started to look at the menu when server returns to take our order. We informed him we needed just a few more minutes. New server returns within a minute or two and informs us we have 5 minutes to order. It's not even 10PM. We left, letting them know that they were wrong and reminding them that they don't close until 10:30PM, according to their posted hours. They should never have seated us if they were only going to give us minutes to order. This is rude and an example of a good restaurant getting too comfortable. They need to remember that customers make a restaurant and customers deserve respect. This was disrespectful. read more
