What a perfect hidden spot to go on a date. The food was exceptional and the service was good. We love the patio area here and can't wait to come back when it's warmer.

we've been excited for a new spot finally opening at this location. we love the walking distance casual spots. Goods first -location is cute and convenient -plenty of parking -indoors outdoor but well conditioned -TV's around for watching sports -happy hour -good wine selection -friendly owner and staff Could be better -food items ordered were just all underwhelming. -happy hour menu is not that great. -Focaccia pizza was just thick bread and that's mostly what you tasted. Needs more sauce and cheese. didn't really taste the truffle on carpaccio. And Caprese was also very bland. We tried a pappardelle pesto and it was just very mild in flavor. However we are gonna give this place more tries since it's new and we wanna live it! :) I'll update my review base on next visit!

This little place opened two months ago right next to Americana. They are a little rusty on service, but they just have to work the kinks out. At the table we got two pizzas and two pastas. My pizza was not super flavorful but the pasta is worthy of going back. I don't even like red sauce, but my husband's ragou was delicious. I'm going back to try the vodka pasta. They also need bread service of some kind. When I have Italian k want some bread. The hostess and owner were very personable and it was lovely to meet them. I look forward to going back and love that we have a new restaurant in the neighborhood.

I'm already mad for the culinary pleasures at Aromi. That's the Italian restaurant in Summerlin North owned by chef German Castellanos who previously worked his magic for 12 years at the old Valentino at the Venetian. And now, just four minutes away from the Aromi mothership, comes his latest place, Vino Aromi --a casual, moderately priced Italian bistro + bar offering a tighter menu, happy hour, brunch + outdoor patio. It's located in Lakeside Village within Desert Shores, next to the elegant Americana restaurant. Our three choices on a recent evening were just as striking as the food at the original Aromi: the Pappardelle Pesto, the Rigatoni Vodka with Italian Sausage + the Porchetta pizza with caramelized onions and truffle oil. The environment here is warm and cozy, with brick, wood, and circular red leather tufted booths. It's wonderful to have two different Aromi's minutes from where we live.

My husband and I had dinner here last night and it was a delicious experience! Started with the Caprese salad that had very fresh mozzarella cheese and an array of tricolor tomatoes. My husband had the rigatoni and sausage and I had the rigatoni with Bolognese sauce. Both were excellent, extremely flavourful. To drink, we ordered the Lambrusco, which was perfect on a warm evening and a generous pour! Our server, Alex, was informative, prompt and friendly and told us that the space they are occupying was a wine club at one time. It is a light and airy room with large windows and a patio area. We will be back!

Great Saturday happy hour. Calamari salad, focaccia pizza & bruschetta. Herman, the host and Jackie, our server could not have been any nicer. We will be back! Definitely a neighborhood gem

The food here is very good just like at their other restaurant. I do wish the portion of the carpaccio was larger, it is a bit small. The pasta is made in house and cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was flavorful and the portion was filling, I couldn't finish it. Also had 2 nice glasses of wine and the owner, German, brought me a few to taste. German is absolutely lovely and it was quiet in the restaurant so he kept me company as I dined alone. Very charming. One odd thing is their bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door so sometimes people will walk in, go to the bathroom, and walk out. It's a little odd but other than that the ambience is very relaxing.

Seafood pasta and vegetarian pizza.

Great place to watch some NFL games and enjoy fine dining. I had the amazing seafood pasta and my wife got the vegetarian pizza. Our kids got their gelatos and chocolate mousse cake. Will definitely go again. The staffs are very inviting and ensure you've got everything you need or want for the dinner to go well. You can walk around the scenic lake after your meal too.

A delicious new addition to Desert Shores, Vino Aromi does an amazing job with service and its menu. The wine selection is great, and accompanied the charcuterie really well! We had the Caprese Salad and the Rigatoni Vodka for the meal, topped off with the Triple Chocolate Mousse cake! Highly recommend you check out this new gem in town!

She effortlessly took more ordered even though guests ordered at different times. The Manager Greg helped out and made sure our table was comfortable and checked in to see if we were ok. Our food came out with good timing, and everything tasted good. I ordered the French dip and it was so good. Aperol Spritz and it was delivered fast within a good time, within 5 minutes. The Manager Greg came to the table towards the end to make sure the birthday girl and guests were happy! He helped us celebrate her with a celebratory toast and desserts without us asking, and this was during the time that the restaurant was getting busy. I want to say thank you to Paula, her busser that helped and Greg for making this day special. It was a special occasion because this group has not gotten together in years.

We ordered appetizer - oysters, traditional Benedict, French Dip with truffle fries and Stuffed Nutella French Toast. Not sure what kind of bread but it was delicious. I don't eat oysters but my husband said it was good with the vinegar/garlic sauce. He said the French Dip was good. He dipped the sandwich in the sauce vs pouring the sauce. This way the bread held up better. The truffle fries were nice and crispy, very delicious. Tasted the stuffed Nutella French toast. It was good but too sweet for me. The traditional Benedict was delicious, the Hollandaise sauce was light and tasty. Surprisingly, the mini potatoes was very delicious...buttery with lightly salted, pepper and chives because for me I don't care for salt, pepper and chives.

Way too much food considering everything was fantastic! Luckily we boxed the steak and reheated perfectly the next day. Wine was fabulous, especially the Alberino. Started with the Somm wine flight on a Thursday night. 4 wines chosen at random by the sommelier. First off, great idea! Second, they were delicious choices. The menu is mostly filled sharables grouped by vegetables, proteins, etc, and we shared two entrees as well. -Whipped Brie with honey and blackberry. Ask for extra bread, you will want to finish it. -Macatie mushrooms in garlic sauce. Star of the night. -Tagliatelle + scallops. Good and fresh, but a bit disappointing as the scallops were tiny instead of large...felt like a frozen bag was added -Shrimp w garlic and chile. Wow! Just wow. Should have asked for bread here, but I was too full to add bread. I could have licked the plate for this garlic chile sauce! Great service. Atmosphere is smaller restaurant with tables close to each other that offer a view of kitchen or window. Despite table proximity, noise was manageable enough to have conversation. It was fun to seek Kay, co owner energetically checking in on every table. Will be back!

Came to Ohlala French Bistro for a birthday celebration and I can't believe I've never been here…read morebefore. The restaurant is small, romantic, and really nice. We ordered the pistachio goat cheese salad, salmon pasta , and the beet salad, and honestly it was enough for both of us. Everything was so good and I would come back just for the food. Service was great too. I also saw they have Sunday brunch and I will definitely be back for that. This place is easily at the top of my list now. Highly recommend!

Restaurant Week brought us here tonight, it was our first time here…read more It's a really cute French Place with decent food and a server who started off with a real nasty and argumentative attitude but cooled down as the night went on...I'll explain. We arrived and were greeted by Abbie our server. We were seated quickly and received bread and water. As we looked over the Restaurant Week Menu, I noticed that on the menu Abbie gave us it showed an up-charge for the Sole. I asked her about this as online what they provided to Restaurant Week as their menu it did show an up-charge for the Filet and the Duck but not the Sole. Abbie immediately started to argue with me stating it may be an old posting which I said no it's current and I don't have an issue with the up-charge if there is one now, it's just not showing online so I was just asking, it's really not a big deal to me. She stated she would look at the website and talk to the owner but she definitely had a negative attitude toward us for asking and it continued for a bit. We started with the French Onion Soup and the Warm Crusted Pistachio Goat cheese with Onion Jam & Honey. The onion soup was good, it was not your traditional onion soup with a beef broth that is served in most places. This soup has a light chicken tasting broth but was really good. It is definitely the region of France this comes from and I liked it. The Warm Crusted Pistachio Goat cheese with Onion Jam & Honey, comes with bread. I took a piece and put the cheese on the bread and scooped down to the onion jam & honey. I immediately picked up the smell of cinnamon which I am allergic to, so when Abbie came around again, my friend was eating it and I asked Abbie if there was cinnamon in it. She immediately got defensive and looked at my friend and in a very rude and condescending tone said "you don't like it"??? I replied yes she likes it, but I'm allergic to cinnamon and I need to know if it had cinnamon in it. She walked off in a huff and shortly came back and said yes, it had cinnamon, nutmeg and 22 other spices in it and it's a Moroccan style. I said ok thank you, I will not try this as I'm allergic. Abbie then dropped her attitude and asked if there were any other allergies which we said no. Other people started coming in including a table with people who were people she knew and after that her personality completely changed and she became friendlier. Our entrees were really good. The sole my friend said was good and my Flank Steak was cooked ok. It was not exactly as requested but close and tasted really good. The desserts were both rich with real chocolate French style and were enjoyed. In closing, the food was ok, I don't think the prices on the regular menu are that bad but honestly, there are better places in town and friendlier staff so I won't be back. If Abbie did not argue with me over their obvious discrepancy and did not get an attitude over a question about an allergy, maybe I would give this place another try. As of now, I don't plan on coming back to this one.

I ordered a glass of wine to start, and it tasted off right away, like it had been sitting open way too long. So I sent it back and asked for a Cabernet instead. That part was whatever -- mistakes happen. But what I saw next completely crossed the line. The server took the SAME glass I had already been drinking from -- a glass I had literally spit back into -- and poured it into a communal pitcher that they use to make red sangria for other customers. I'm not exaggerating. My used wine, with my saliva in it, went straight into something they serve to other people. That's not just gross -- that's a health risk. Saliva can carry viruses like COVID and infections like herpes, and the fact that something like that could end up being served to multiple tables is honestly terrifying. There is no scenario where that should ever be considered okay in a restaurant. It made my stomach turn thinking about how many people could unknowingly be drinking from something contaminated like that. It also makes you wonder what other basic hygiene standards are being ignored behind the scenes. I've eaten at a lot of places and I've never, ever seen something this careless and unsanitary. Completely unacceptable. I will not be coming back.

We had reservations at 5pm so it wasn't busy yet. The dining was very nicely furnished. We ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle, Strozzapreti, Ricotta Cavatelli( subbed gf pasta), Chicken Scarpariello and Short Rib Lumache. They were all absolutely delicious. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert.
