Not many hot pot places in tampa but this is probably my favorite in the area. The soup choices are great I always get the spicy and I love it. The meat/seafood choices are good too. The only issue I have is the limited choices for vegetables, they only come around on the conveyer and if you're not sitting by it, then good luck. To celebrate with my brother, I went again a few days ago with some friends. It was a little awkward figuring out what parts I had experienced weren't the usual due to reduced lockdown from last time. This time, I found you have to get up more for stuff to cook and add to your soups. There was an awesome conveyor belt that goes between the tables carrying things as well. My brother was very excited at how everything worked and to cook our food at the table, so it was definitely a great experience. Once again, the food was amazing and I was worried of switching to a different soup so I got the pork bone soup again. It was still just as good as I remembered. My brother got the traditional style (Sorry, i might have the name wrong but you'll know from the menu which i mean) and I tried some of that too. It was also fantastic. The service was great! We had the same waiter as last time, I think his name was Josh? I felt a little dumb asking about some things, but he helped with any questions I had. Great environment, fantastic food. Big fan of the fresh ingrediants, the get it yourself meat in the cooler, and a lot of variety of veggies and seafood options on the buffett. In addition, there are more veggies, noodles, and some desserts come out on the conveyer belt. You pretty much much serve yourself everything, This is the first place I've been where you can go get the meats yourself which I really like the option of doing. Staff brings you the soups, drinks and clear the table, that's about it. None of the soups were particularly better than the others. I got the tomato soup, someone else got the herbal and two others got the spicy. Spicy soup is really spicy as expected. Price is bit steep at $25 per person for hot pot only and most people are probably not getting their money's worth, I'm certainly not but I still enjoyed the experience and look forward to coming back. read more

And all you can eat barbecue place located in front of MD market. We normally travel down to Saint Pete to nine spaces for hot pot , so we were excited to be closer to home. We had four adult all you can eat barbecue plus hot pot for an additional three dollars about $28 each person . There are signs throughout the restaurant which states 2 hour dining limit , so eat fast as you have to cook your own food. The meat choices were limited and buffet style where it is all you can eat and you just go grab it yourself. The sauce bar is interesting you can make your own concoction or just choose one of their sauces ready-made . The only food on the conveyor belt is vegetables and noodles however this is a slow moving conveyor belt so be prepared to stay in there for a while to find what you were looking for: I only found one small plate of udon noodles. They do have short ribs that they bring out separately and it's per plate. The grill is interesting there is parchment paper and you are reminded several times to add butter onto the parchment paper before you start grilling. Most Korean places change out the grill midway so you can have a chargrilled flavor. I believe it's to help with the smoke and smell as there are a limited exhaust vents available . So that can be a pro or con . It's a nice place to get full if you're looking for a variety of fresh meats, just be prepared to know how to season your own food with all the sauces. What's crazy or I don't know if it's considered bad luck. Within the first five minutes of being seated on the corner table of an outside chair . The bus people ran me over in my chair. I guess she was rushing to clean up the next table and didn't time for speed and turning abilities . If you've ever experienced a bus cart collision while being seated , it's a bit startling and a loss of appetite . I have eagerly been waiting for the auspicious occasion to dine at this restaurant. Solid Korean BBQ with conveyor belt Hot Pot. This type of Korean restaurant has been around for a very long time, but now Tampa gets to spice up. The restaurant itself is newly renovated and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The color schemes blend with the conveyor belt. In particular, the lighting is really good which is something people take for granted when going out to dine. 1. The BBQ: bulgogi is marinaded very well. Once it gets on that hot buttery grill that sizzle just gets you in the mood to feast. Short ribs and other meats were all savory and full of flavor. The grill itself is very easy to use and gets to temperature very quickly. 2. Seafood: mmmmm sweet blue crab, generously sized prawns, crawfish, clams, large mussels, whitefish. All freshly kept on ice in a neat fashion. Variety of fish balls to your liking. 3. Hot Pot: my go to is always the spicy broth. Again, the pot heaters are very quick to heat up which is a detail I appreciate. The pot itself rests below table level which is quite unique. Saves surface space and crowding. The conveyor belt had a good variety of add ins including noodles and a wide variety of fresh vegetables. The ambience is something you and your significant other can enjoy or your group of friends/coworkers. Plenty of space and you don't feel crowded. There are some posters below that gave 1 star for lack of fruit, ice cream and apparently bad service. Let my pictures prove to you that there were fruits and a variety of desserts. If you wanted ice cream then go to baskin Robbins. I was appalled at those reviews. The service was great and the employees were very attentive to our needs. If you're super hungry and a fan of Hot Pot, then you will love this place. Not only is the Hot Pot an all-you-can-eat option at $24.95, but it's just additional $3 to include the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ to you entire dining experience. Goodness, yes, it's a lot of food for $27.95. The first time I ever ate here, I truly got excited so I went all out with choosing the AYCE Hot Pot and doing the AYCE Korean BBQ as well. Honestly, I'm glad I tried the AYCE Korean BBQ even though I thought the meat was mediocre quality, but after getting it the first time, I told myself I don't ever really need to get this option again because AYCE Hot Pot is already a lot for me ( and you get unlimited meat to put in your hot pot anyway). I can't enjoy my meal if I'm concentrating on cooking my food items in the hot pot AND concentrating on cooking the meat on the grill - it's too much work for me and I'm not able to fully enjoy eating because I'm too busy cooking haha. I love how the food items to put in your hot pot are on the conveyor belt for you to easily grab and you can also go to the buffet station to pick out your protein, tofu, fish cake balls, kimchi, veggies, and sauces. I like the taste of their broth here. My favorite one is just getting the original flavor one and sometimes I add more flavor to the soup from the sauces they have at the buffet station. Overall, this place offers a great dining experience with staff that are always alert and ready to fill your pot with more broth. Unlimited Korean BBQ and you can grill it exactly how you want at your table - count me in! One week I came here for lunch 4 days straight. When the hostess knew my name and exactly where I wanted to sit, I knew it was time to give it a rest. The others (Korean BBQ All You Can Eat Style) in the Tampa-St.Pete area shut down or stop doing unlimited, btw. I knew them all and there's now only this one in Tampa and another one in St.Pete. So if you're in Tampa, this is your one and only option now in case you're looking. They have all the meats you would expect including pork belly, thin sliced brisket, spicy marinated chicken and short ribs. All the meats you get yourself, besides the short ribs, which your server must bring to you. If you want more, just ask. They also have other seafood options including jumbo shrimp you can grill. The only reason why I took off one point, and I was hesitant to do so since they do so many other things great, is their vegetables. They're okay in my opinion. The vegetable bar could be better. They have good sauces but the vegetables I've had at other Korean places have been better and fresher. This includes the Kim-Chi which I wasn't a big fan of. Not to say it's bad here but it's underwhelming compared to the meat. I've been at some places where I was excited for the veggies just as much as the BBQ/meat and this place doesn't come close. Also be prepared to be kinda squeezed in during business dinner time. That's why I prefer to sit on the right hand side and ask when I walk in because every time I sit on the lefthand side I am bumping into people when I move my chair back to get up. They should have spaced the tables out a little better butI understand space is limited sometimes and you do what you gotta do. Overall, as far a Korean All You Can Eat BBQ, I've been to better and been to much worse. This one gets a solid 7 out of 10 in my book. Ok this place is hopping! Looks like everyone knew about this place except us! We had never been to a hot pot before. It would've been really nice if they had directions on the back of the menu. Our waitress did not speak English and that's fine but maybe she could've sent someone over who did speak English to help us determine what to do. We basically winged it. The experience was fun! WE learned what we did wrong and are willing to go back to try it again! In our eyes, it was pretty expensive. I was not feeling adventurous and the foods all looked quite strange. There is a wide variety and selection of stuff I have no clue what it was. I tried a few items and felt lackluster. You are required to wear masks when you get your food and the staff are all wearing masks. It felt clean inside and in the restroom. The staff was incredibly nice. This is a great new, must-try hot pot and Korean BBQ place, close to USF. This is a much needed addition to the area, and it definitely doesn't disappoint! The pork bone broth is DELICIOUS, and the sauce bar is top notch (so many choices!). I DO have to warn that the hot pot selections are A LOT more varied than the BBQ options, but the ones they have for the latter are really good!! We LOVE this place! We go specifically for the Hot Pot but the Korean BBQ always looks amazing. Don't be scared of hot pot, it's like fondue without the oil. You pick your broth (I recommend mild spicy then adding the kimchi to make it as spicy as you want). Once your broth is on the way, go to the raw bar and get whatever looks good (try a few things that look weird, you'll be surprised how delicious it is!). Don't dump everything in at once. Drop in noodles and thick veggies then cook your meat bite by bite. This was the first restaurant I've eaten at indoors since the pandemic started over a year ago. I felt pretty safe, as the tables are segmented and all staff are masked and enforce it. The only thing that made me nervous was the buffet where you grab your meats and seafood. There were no gloves for handling the tongs or sauce ladles, but most of it wasn't going to be eaten raw so it was okay. The selection of meats and seafood was fresh, replenished often and tasty. You have to order the short ribs as they're not available at the buffet, they're flavorful but a little fatty. We came with a group of 8 but couldn't all sit together based on the way the tables are made, so two people had to sit at a separate table which was unfortunate but understandable, so keep that in mind if you come with more than six people. Favorite items: pork bulgogi on the grill (wrapped in lettuce with kimchi), dumplings, bean curd skin and udon for the hot pot! All broths were good and the pot heats up so quickly! They also have a variety of fresh vegetables and other hot pot and BBQ meats like thin sliced beef, pork, and chicken. In addition, they also have a conveyor belt that brings more special ingredients that you can grab for your hot pot. Finally, they have an extensive sauce bar that allows you to make your own variety of dipping and flavoring sauces. The interior of the restaurant is also pretty decent. Ive tried other places which have been good but not as good as this one. It is buffet style and they have the conveyor belt with different sides going around which is awesome. Last night was my first time at this particular hot pot location, we were greeted with a super nice and very honest host and she sat down and took our drink orders immediately. We did both kbq and hot pot and we all chose different broths. Everything we super delicious! You're able to get up and grab food from the buffet section to cook at your table, as well as other types of food like noodles and dumplings coming to you on the conveyer belt. I can't wait to come back here again! The only thing i wish they had was a bigger table, we had lots of plates with food that we felt like we didn't have enough space for everything, but the service was great they kept coming up to us and cleaning our tables as often as possible. My mother and sister were in town and they love hot pot so we decided to take them here and there were definitely no regrets! They have tables with 6 settings for hot pot and 2 KBBQ grills and there was 5 of us so I really liked that we did not have to sit at separate tables. The conveyor belt wasn't working on our side so we had to order through the waiter but that wasn't really an issue because the service was really good. We opted for the full experience of hot pot and KBBQ which was $28.99. Their meat selection was open so we were able to grab as we pleased and that was nice because the other places we went to did not have it open and they took a long time getting our food to us to cook. Their hot pot burners were deep into the table and I really liked that feature so you're not constantly reaching over into your pot since it's lower. That was a great feature. Overall, this place was very good and I would definitely say that it's a great hot pot alternative to our place that recently closed down. For 5 people, our bill with 20% came to $191 which was a little bit on the more expensive side but we will be opting out of the KBBQ next time and hope that'll help shave down the bill. read more

Great gluten free experience here! The waiter was super helpful and let me know that the original broth was gluten free. She also brought me my own meat that had no soy sauce marinade and dedicated tongs for my barbecue. All ingredients are separate and you have your own pot, so I could safely make my own soup!
