Probably my favorite hot pot spot in the area. I love that they have the enoki mushrooms and the quail eggs (not everywhere has them). The meat here is decent, although I wish they'd add more types of beef cuts, but I have not found a hot pot place around here that does, like premium cuts. Service is always good and everything usually fresh! Love the conveyer belt, and the sauces too.

4/5 Great place in the area to get some hot pot and bbq!!! I got the Tom yum broth and my partner got the classic broth. The soups were great!!! They had a sauce bar on the side if you want to dress it up a little more! For the self serve, they had fatty beef, lean beef, fatty pork and lamb? They had a variety of different fish and shell fish balls, kani, crawfish, fish, scallops, clams, muscles, crab, and kelp! Not to mention the different types of noodles and veggies, mushrooms on the conveyor belt. They also had bean curd, tofu puffs and tofu skin as well! For bbq, they gave us 2 pieces of short rib, 2 pieces of steak, and the self serve table had beef Bulgogi, spicy pork Bulgogi, chicken, pork belly. The place had a simple, modern vibe with Asian accents. And the table was large and spacious. I loved the conveyor belt idea and made it very easy to get some items, rather than waiting behind people. The service was great! My table is constantly being cleared and my water glass was always full! My only criticism is that they didn't have as many options of desserts, such as fruit or non dairy ice cream. I think it'd be awesome if they offered those giant self serve tubs of ice cream with unique flavors, such as matcha, red bean, taro etc etc

One of the worst food experiences I have had ever. As soon as we got there, we noticed half of the restaurant was shut down. The other half was packed so we did not think much of it. We sat at a table next to the conveyor belt and began grabbing add-ins while we waited for broth. The first topping we grabbed were noodles that were covered in mold. We then got up to grab protein from the counter and freezer. The freezer meats were not frozen and we watched as the staff added more semi-thawed meat without cleaning in between. The meats not in the freezer were sitting buffet-style on mostly melted ice; that should have been the point where we got up and left, yet we stayed. Then we took one bite of crawfish and immediately recognized seafood that had gone bad. I thought mom-seafood might be better so had the beef, but it crumbled in my mouth with a gritty texture that was nauseating. Besides the problems with food quality, there was a lack of variety in options. There were three types of noodles, two types of lettuce, and two vegetables that endlessly looped around the room. The servers were not around to bring drink refills and our pots of broth were never topped off with water. We paid $31 each before tip and went home feeling illl. The experience is timed to 1.5 hours but we could not make it past 40 minutes. I cannot wait to go home and brush my teeth to get rid of this taste. I will not be coming back, and I highly suggest you do not either.

This place is such a bang for one's buck. All you can eat! HOT POT AND BBQ. I'll be honest we were in Tampa to visit family during the holiday so I was just down to eat and be a couch potato and most of the priority was to cook for family for most of the meals. However I'm glad we found boil spot. Never had hot pot with a conveyor belt, pretty cool. Buffet of proteins in the back along with a decent sauce bar. The addition of the Korean bbq is worth it if you're with a group of people- everyone can leave satisfied. Also super affordable and at first I was stressing about having our leftovers weighed- it wasn't much, less than 1 lb but we didn't experience that, however I would urge everyone to be mindful of how much food you bring back to your table. It's a buffet you can always get more.

I was in town again and definitely had to hit up a Hot Pot/Korean BBQ buffet. I came here on a Friday night and it was super super packed. The wait time was approximately 30-45 min. Like my other restaurant review in FL, you definitely need a Covid vaccine (both doses) because seating is packed in there and there is no social distance. Staff is wearing masks and most customers are wearing masks while walking in and walking around getting food. But doesn't help when your sitting back to back to people while eating and people coughing into the air. No temperature checks when you enter, but there is hand sanatizer stations. Parking lot has plenty of parking and you can also parked towards the back. I opted for the $28.99 hot pot/Korean bbq AYCE. I believe the hot pot ACYE is $25.99 so I felt for $3 more, it was well worth it!! I won't go all into what they have as if you been to a Hot Pot buffet, you know it's the usual. This place does have a revolving plates where you can get your hot pot side items like mushroom, water cress, corn, and other veggie sides. The sauce bar was awesome as I love making my own sauce. There are no gloves while using the spoons at the sauce bar or any gloves while using the tongs to get your raw seafood and meats. I guess I am touching the untensils that everybody else been touching. (Ugh, hopefully I don't catch anything) The shrimp, crawfish, and clams were super fresh and big. I really enjoyed the shrimp as it was super large and peeled nicely when cooked. I was super impressed with the crawfish as there was tons of meat inside and very large. The meat comes out cleanly as that's how you it's fresh. The short rib has to be brought to you by the staff members. Your able to get everything else. The short ribs were the highlight of my meal. It was juicy and super tasty. The marinade was just right. I also loved the beef bugoli and thin sliced pork belly. I did not get any beef brisket because I am about to get plenty of that back in Atlanta. They also had fried tofu skins which is one of my favorite. For dessert, they had a ice cream bar where you had to scoop it up yourself. I passed on that as I already ate way too much the night before at the Lobster buffet. Lol I did have the sweet juicy oranges.

Everything about this place is incredible! Friendly and helpful staff, amazing quality ingredients, and great ambiance for socializing. I love (and prefer) the buffet style of food, it allows you to get as much or as little of an item as you'd like. The conveyer belt is a cool concept and is convenient for getting your hotpot ingredients. For less than $35 all you can eat KBBQ and hot pot, I'm sold. I'm a regular at this place and will forever show it off to friends & family. See my post about Boil Spot on IG: @rosiesfoodtour

Solid 4 stars. This makes the second time I've tried a hot pot place and this makes the best thus far. Although I'm not a huge fan of hot pot places prior to coming here I do have to say that this place changed my mind. My family and I actually really liked it.....and my daughter who is relatively picky actually loved it, asking if we could return again soon. You can join the waitlist via Yelp too for parties under 7. Also keep in mind that if you have a party less than 7 all at your table must choose the same option -- either hot pot or bbq. If your party is 7+ then they allow variety -- so my hubs and I had the bbq which comes with hot pot and the rest of our table had just hot pot. We were a party of 7 and they were able to accommodate. Keep in mind that they won't seat you until your full party has arrived. They do require masks when you are not sitting at your dining table. Surprised that they had the conveyor working and allowing people to grab items from the bar for your soup and bbq. They also have a small ice cream area that's included with the meal and it's also self serve. Sort of bothered by this given COVID and the fact that they didn't have sanitizer near the stations or no sanitizing of the utensils that folks touch to obtain the various food and ice cream. But that's just the mindset that we've all been accustomed to I suppose. Anyways I tried not to think about it too much and just enjoy the good food. The Bulgogi and spicy pork were good bbq options. The Kalbi (Korean ribs) were flavored very well however VERY fatty! We actually ended up not eating them due to the fat! We opted for the spicy broth and I added tofu, kimchi, dumplings to mine. I also added some garlic, cilantro, onions and scallions from bar area. They also have a sauce bar where you can make your own sauces. So happy that they had hoisin sauce, peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce so that I could make the special blend that my SIL taught me. YUM. For $28 you get unlimited hot pot and bbq and ice cream. We will definitely be back.

As soon as my friend that lives nearby told me that the dim sum restaurant in front of MD Market on Fowler changed into an all-you-can-eat hotpot place, I drove right over for an inspection. A few says later, I arrived around dinner to give them a try. The restaurant is similar to other locations: Vegetables and noodles go around on a conveyor belt. Meats, sauces, and side dishes are on the cold bar in the back. There are bubble teas and drinks available. You can grill at the table if you would like to try a mainland China BBQ experience for an additional fee. Note that this is not Korean grilling. There is a two-hour time limit per person. My recommendation is the same as most of these hotpot places--- GET THE SPICY HOTPOT. The sauce bar here is very much lacking, but the meats are kept chilled and the sliced beef is much better quality than any other places I have been to in Tampa Bay. If you really want a bubble tea, you can get it here. But, it is much better if you walk across the street to the actual bubble tea shop. When I heard that this new hotpot place was called "Boil Spot," the first thing I thought of was getting grease spots on my clothing from the hotpot oil splashing onto me. Did anyone else think the same thing?

How big are the pots approximately?

They are like small cooking pots but they refill them if you want more.

    Any gluten free noodle options?

    They have rice noodles

2 hours limit to eat and leave the restaurant? or 2 hours limit to order more meat? Does anyone know?

I don't think they are actually timing you. Probably established to avoid an all day buffet grazer.
