Used to come here a lot, haven't been back since the early years of the pandemic. We came on a Friday with a table of 9 people. They were able to seat us right away. The server was attentive. All the meat were fresh! The scallops & octopus tasted a bit fishy, crawfish was jumbo size but not much flavor. The fish & all the veggies were delicious. Loaded up on my fiber!. Restaurant & bathroom were clean. The restaurant wasn't too busy or loud for a Fri night which made dinner more enjoyable! All in all, always a good go to spot if you want a local AYCE hotpot spot in the IE.

My favorite hot pot place and one of my favorite restaurants in general. I love that they have many options and that it's self serve. It's a really big restaurant with plenty of seating. Although i will say if you go on a busy day it may be slower service because they be understaffed at times. Overall i enjoy the quality of the meat and seafood here and my go to soup base is the spicy miso. It can be costly at almost 40 per person for dinner but it's worth if you really like hot pot.

This is a nice restaurant with lots of food options. But it's on the pricier side (adult pricing starts at 11 years old) and only allows for meat to be ordered in only 3 rounds, which spoils the fun of AYCE and spontaneity. Food: The broths are tasty and all unique. The spicier ones (Shichuan and Soondubu) are not that spicy, but still hot and savory. Their Miso and Tonkotsu broths are safe and child friendly. Their meats were good quality and cooked quickly in the broth. The only negative is that their servings are kind of small and you only have 3 rounds to order meats. We ordered a lot of meat in round 1-2, so we were done before the third round. The bar of seafood and vegetables is nice and spacious. They offer gloves, too. Their sauce station is large and offers lots of ingredients to mix and try. The price of the meal includes an ice cream cup for each person at the end of your meal. Service: The staff is friendly and patient. They manage many tables, so it can take a while before they return to your table. Recommend ordering as many meat plates as possible in round 1 (3 plates per person). Then you might not need them to return for round 2-3. Ambiance: The restaurant is large and offers tables of various sizes for groups. They also have private rooms. Their cooking burners are easy to use and seafood/vegetables bar was replaced and cleaned off regularly. It's also located near Ontario Mills mall and walkable. This is a good restaurant, but the price is a little high for children that must pay for adult prices. We have a 12 year old that does not eat much, but had to pay full adult price. The ice cream is a nice touch, but the complications of ordering meat in only 3 rounds can be stressful for some. We probably wont return since we prefer Shabuya in Alhambra.

The service here is great and this is one of the biggest hot pot. All you can eat places that is in the entire LA area. There's plenty of choices to choose from in terms of meats, vegetables, and seafood. This is probably the best one in the Ontario area. I'll be back.

It was a cool experience, they have so many options of seafood and noodles and different types of meat for you to order to add to your hot pot.. we order different types of broth. They were not as flavorful as I would've liked. They were kind of bland, which I wish was a different outcome. Because of course everything you're soaking in it picks up that flavor and it was just very bland. But the quality of meat and the quality of the food was pretty good. It was clean they kept refilling everything. The service was a little slow. But they were remembering things that we ordered but felt like in 25 minute increments. And they had so many vegetables. Definitely enjoyed the buffet style option of getting everything you want for your hot pot. The only thing I would change is just making the broth more flavorful.

We came in with a party of 10. We called in to be sure we could get a table. This was a dining adventure for all!! It is all you can eat hot pot. Everyone in our party got their own hot pot. You get to choose your broth. Each can get three different meats and then....the great "salad" bar with all kinds of things to cook in your broth. There was so much to choose from and it was all delicious with options for all!! The servers quickly removed the empty plates and also came around to see if we needed any more meats. Dinners come with appetizer and ice cream too!!! FYI-gratuity added to our large group. Will definitely come again when in the area.

I went for the lunch buffet. They sat me right away which was nice. The interior design was pretty, upscale ish. They do have nice quality of meat, and the server was full of hospitality, I had my soup base refilled 3 times during my visit, and they kept asking if I need more meats and see if I like everything so far. Only little issue I can think of was the sesame sauce / peanut sauce was too liquidly, I wish it was more dense. Overall a nice dining experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It was our first time and our server Renee was super helpful and sweet. The flavors of the broths are amazing we each got different ones and mixed them up as well. The feel of the place is awesome a real chill family coming together kinda vibe. Shout out to Rafael who was on it on picking up the dishes I felt like he was standing right behind me waiting for the dish but in a good way. I recommend this place and I can't wait till it gets colder I'll come 3 times a month it's that good

This is the only AYCE hot pot place close to me near the Inland Empire - I usually go to the 626 for all you can eat hot pot or Orange County area. I'm happy that I stumbled across this place in Ontario. To begin the ambience there is very modern, spacious, and has ample seating. I appreciate that this contributed to the fact that there was zero wait time. Our servers were all extremely sweet and tentative. They always checked on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. Their broth selection was great - all very flavorful! I got the spicy miso, and my friend got the mala! Both were very good! Something else that I very much appreciated was how much vegetables, tofu, seafood, and sides were at the salad bar. They even have enoki mushroom - many places don't usually have this! At the salad bar, they also had a wide selection of sauces. Many hot pot places usually stick to just the basics - ponzu & sesame sauce. The only minor thing that I will have to say - you are allotted only three meat selections per person per round - for 3 rounds. Their meat is very thinly sliced. I do not eat too much - and the amount that we were allotted was just enough to get me full. Overall, I would definitely come again! My experience was very positive and the food was amazing!

so many broth options, we opted for the tom yum which had a light tom yum flavor but could have been a bit better! The meat options were great and flavorful, and so many veggie & seafood options to choose from. A bit on the pricier side $38 but would definitely go back if I'm in the area

So on Sunday, November 16, my friend and I arrived around 2:50 PM, waited about 30 minutes, and finally got a table. When our server came over, she didn't greet us, didn't ask if it was our first time, and didn't explain how the AYCE works. She just came to take our order. It was my first time, but luckily my friend had been there before and was able to explain everything to me. After we filled out the sheet to order our broth and meats, we went to the food bar area to get rice, noodles, veggies, and sauces. The broth and meats arrived soon after we returned to our table, so we started eating. Once we started running low on broth, my friend wanted more. We looked around for our actual server for a bit, but couldn't find her, so my friend ended up asking another server. Even then, she had to wait a long time because the person she asked apparently forgot. We eventually got the broth, but it took much longer than it should have. While we were talking and waiting for our original server to check on us to see if we wanted more meat, she finally came back--but instead of asking, she brought the check. At that point, we were frustrated enough that we decided to leave. We only received one round of meat, which we shared, and I definitely wanted more, but I wasn't prepared to wait another 20-30 minutes or risk it being forgotten again. Since it was Sunday, we paid the dinner price of $38.95 per person, plus the cost of drinks--which I never even got offered a refill on. I ended up feeling cheated because I paid full price but didn't enjoy the experience at all and completely missed out on rounds 2 and 3 of meats. Overall, the food was good, but the service really ruined the experience for me. I'll probably look for a different hot pot place next time.

Clean and busy environment. Full bar by the entrance.

There were a lot of neat topping options that you can add to your bowl like a little fortune bag which I assume is made from tofu skin and a fish paste. I got the original broth (the first one) and I thought it was a little less flavorful than the other places I've been to but they have a lot of sauce options that you can dip your food into so it was still good. I also thought the pricing was really good compared to other places. My bowl was around 1.4 lbs and it was $21. After you're done eating you go to pay at the register which is also the one you go to to weigh your bowl before you sit down. There was another customer waiting to weigh his bowl while we were waiting to pay so the line situation was a little awkward. Not a big deal at all but I can see how it might get confusing on a busy day. Overall this place was pretty good and closer to where I live than a lot of other places so I would definitely come back!

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. I'd come back, just with lower expectations on speed and pacing. 4 stars mainly for value.

Shabu Wara has been our go to shabu shabu spot since moving to this area and it's been great. Service was never their strength, but we glanced over it since it's the only descent shabu shabu restaurant on the area. Over the past few months, service has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Our final straw was being seated and left unacknowledged for 10 minutes. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.

And the restaurant is on the side of the building. I like how they have the option for you to sit at a table or their bar area. To order, you choose your meat(s) & it comes with a side of vegetables. Then you choose your broth. You can also get sides of dipping sauce for your meats. They also have a wide variety of appetizers & drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) drinks. I was surprised at how much food they give you for your buck.

We got a rich pork broth tonkatsu soup and it was pretty tasty. However, the service folks forgot to first give us bowls, then forgot to give us sauces we ordered, and then never check up on us if we needed more soup. They did seem pretty short staffed though and when they did have time to pay attention, they seemed nice about it. The food quality was pretty decent but the portion size for the price you pay doesn't really cut it for me. I am a big hot pot fan and frequent so many in the hot pot mecha that is San Gabriel Valley that this place would not do too well with its pricing. However, being in Eastvale, I can't knock them off too much for that. The one thing that also makes me ponder is that the owner of cravings and thus this shop also partly owns 99 ranch across the walkway. So when I ordered edemame, they said they didn't have any since this morning. But isn't the market right next door and the owner owns both? Maybe I'm wrong but seemed like a golden opportunity to levy your competitive advantage of opening cravings next to 99 ranch. In either case, I will give it a 4 for now but I'm not sure I will return for now.

Great for anyone looking for a healthy meal or those with dietary restrictions. I can see a lot of room for accommodations here. Shout out to Tyler. He was not the main server but he was helpful and nice throughout the experience I had the Wagyu Brisket ($24.50/4oz) as my protein, the Paitan chicken broth, with white rice, and udon noodles. The meal comes with veggies, which includes napa, kabacho, mushrooms, carrots and bokchoy. So much wagyu brisket for 4 oz. I thought it was more, but I saw them weighing it out and slicing it freshly so I know it's on point. The marbling on the beef was incredibly sexy. Simple, healthy and delicious! I had some constructive feedback but I was able to convey it with their manager and they were open to improve so I'll let them off the hook during a soft opening phase.
