I used to be a Bojangles fried chicken fan when a regular visitor to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, but when I sold the property in South Nags Head, that addiction faded. With years passing and spying a shiny new 'jangles right near our hotel in Staunton, VA, I caught the urge to try it again and see if anything had changed about their golden chicken and biscuits? The short answer is, no. It is still crispy skinned and meaty, with whatever the ingredient that makes it so compelling. Along with the buttered biscuit, cool coleslaw and dirty rice, it is remains a valued and delicious alternative to fast food fare. Even my lovely traveling companion, a first time indulger, found the feast in our room worthy of praise, and she's a tough nut to crack with untested cuisine. We've been loving our days in western Virginia, but it might just be Bojangles that seals the deal and finds us back in this neck of the Blue Ridge woods sooner than later. Just wish they had designed the drive through and entrance to the shop with more concern for safety. There is no way to walk to the entrance doors without crossing the drive through lane right where the lanes wrap around the front of the building. That is an accident waiting to happen. read more

Bojangle is a chicken join that recommended by our friend when we visited North Carolina. We found this chicken joint brand new open in Virginia. We have create the business page when we first arrive. This place just open not long ago. The chicken more like the Popeyes Chicken. Their chicken is better may be because is more buttery. I like slightly spicy that make it interesting. The chicken is juicy. I also like their side. We go the biscuit with gravy. The gravy -- mmmm good. The dirty rice has some character. For the fast food joint, this is one of the good options. Unfortunately, they are not in Florida. I wish they have one on Tampa. What can I ask. Enjoy while it last. Great service to people. Other side includes Mac n cheese, bake bean, green bean. The chicken is marinated and fried. So go get it. read more

Ordered the tailgate box 04-11-21 at 5:10 p. m. and realized I received entirely the wrong order when I got home. With a diabetic in our party, the sweet tea could have caused a serious medical issue. I called to give them an opportunity to correct the problem and give me what I actually paid for. The manager accused me of trying to get free food and never apologized for the error. Drove 30 minutes back to the restaurant for a refund. Probably never going back. read more

Stop here when we are traveling between visiting family in Ashland Virginia and home in Charleston WV. The service is always great and the food is fresh, hot and tasty. I miss Bojangles since we moved out of NC and this is one of the best managed locations I've seen when traveling. read more

I ordered a 12 piece chicken dinner to be eaten inside by myself and my whole family. The chicken was hard and had been sitting for a very long time very dry and the fries had very little seasoning after requesting extra seasoning. Out of the 12 pieces of chicken only about seven were edible they keep that chicken waiting way too long. read more

I was excited to see Bojangles opening in Staunton. Tonight I decided to try them out. I was very unimpressed. I went through the drive through, I live less than 5 minutes away. The chicken was luke warm at best and dry.... not fresh at all. Hopefully they can improve and become an asset to the area. read more

It was a solid hour and a half before closing, they closed the doors early. During the drive through they didn't even acknowledge customers. They literally sat there until we yelled at them through the window. We STILL ordered and it came out after 5 minutes (in the food world that's 10-15 when you're hangry) the food came out cold and incorrect. Don't waist your time, nor money specifically here.
