I went to Bojangles to purchase the 8 piece family meal. I requested several times for them to cook the chicken fresh which didnt happen. I pulled over to make sure they did not give me any old chicken like I have received in the past on several occasions or double fried chicken. The chicken appeared to be ok other than the chicken being kind of light. I prepared plates for the grands to eat. I begin eating the chicken and questioned if the chicken was done. I lift the skin up and to my surprise the chicken was slimmy underneath. One of the grands ate her chicken leg not knowing if the chicken was completely done and ate her fries. I advise the other grand not to eat the chicken. I broke all of the chicken in half to ensure they wouldn't try and give me the same chicken back. The general manager didnt show any empathy what so ever. She reviewed the receipt and advised you purchased this 45 minutes ago. That statement along changed my entire attitude. I advised if I brought the chicken two hours ago that would not cause the chicken to be undercooked. She replaced the chicken, but refused to replace the fries because some of them were eaten. Mind you the fries were undercooked as well. The general manager at the Frankfort Kentucky location does not have any customer service skills and should not be working in anyone's restaurant. 3.5/5 so I'll round up to 4. I had never been to a Bojangles before today, we don't have them in Michigan, and we were on our way back from Buffalo Trace so we stopped by. My husband got the Cajun chicken biscuit combo and I got the chicken sandwich. I knew it was a Cajun chain but didn't know the chicken was a tiny bit spicy - I saw the meat had a tinge of red spice to it. My chicken sandwich was good but our friends got the chicken tenders meal and it also looked really good. The fries were also good but the Bo rounds, aka tater tot rounds, were my favorite. The soda cups advertised sweet tea also but I didn't see any - I would've liked to have tried it. Overall I liked this place though, they should open a Michigan store! read more

Is the service at Bojangles inconsistent? Oh my goodness, yes. It can be amazing or terrible. It's a total crapshoot! But here's the thing, the food at Bojangles is so great that I will put up with that every time. There are few things better than Bojangles' bone in chicken and dirty rice. Honestly, all of their sides are amazing. The dirty rice is the way to go, but the seasoned fries are terrific. The botato rounds are delightful. The green beans are excellent. The mac and cheese is a delight. You can't go wrong with the sides. But you have to do the bone in chicken. The sandwiches and the tenders are good, but not in comparison to the bone in chicken. Please listen to me as I am trying to help here. Be prepared for bad service. But know that if you order correctly, it will be worth it. I love you Bojangles. read more

On our way back from Lexington we stopped in here for a quick bite to eat. The location was closed on the inside so we got a bow box to go which was a piece of chicken and rice mashed dadoes and biscuits. We sat out in the parking lot on the tailgate and ate and I had a chicken breast two biscuits some potatoes and rice yeah and it was really good I enjoyed it the guy on the counter was really nice and gave us our food and this was definitely a tasty lunch on the go read more

I went here today for the 1st time because my son's girlfriend loves Bojangles. It was ok - the fries could have been better prepared and the biscuits were a little overcooked in my opinion, especially since this is one of the things that they are known for. My son's girlfriend said the fries lacked seasoning but the chicken fingers were good and the Bo-berry biscuit was really good. To each their own but for me just ok. read more

This makes me sad, but their "legendary iced tea" was sour and gross. After doing some yard work and running a few errands, I thought I would roll through the drive thru and get an iced tea. When I got my "legendary iced tea" it had no ice in it. Seriously, it all had melted and the tea was tepid. And then the "legendary iced tea" was sour. This can happen for a number of reasons, the biggest being the tea is old. So, I had to go in at at least get some ice. I waited in line before realizing I could just dump my tea out and get more ice and tea. The sad thing is that the tea in the self service area was also sour/old. If this is how they treat their "legendary iced tea" how do they treat their chicken. I will not be finding out. Bojangles, you lost a customer today. read more

This is the worst bojangles I've ever been to. Horrible service and food. I stopped here as this was the last location on the way back to Kansas. I pulled up to the speaker box and was asked to wait. Despite the empty parking lot. I waited 5 minutes and finally, someone began helping me. I asked to order the chicken supreme dinner. Which typically comes with two sides and no drink. The employee said this location only sells the dinner for the chicken. Which I did not want. I order the combo with mashed potatoes and fries. I pay for my order and was asked to pull up. It was not ready. I waited outside for ten-fifteen minutes when a young employee came out the door to stare into my car window. I stared back and rolled my window down to see if my food was ready. He said it wasn't which bothered me. Why are you staring at me if my food is not ready. I get my food finally, and the supremes look like home style tenders. I go inside, speak to the manager and he explains that is their new Cajun breading. I decided to give them a try because I was hungry. I go back to my car and realize they forgot my fries. I go back in, and they give me fries. And the employee who was outside staring at me says 'my bad'. I'm so bothered I get on the highway and realize they gave me Mac and cheese instead of mashed potatoes I asked for. Do not go to this location. Horrible service. Horrible food. Hate the Cajun breading. Biscuit crumbled in my hands, they need more training. read more

I would highly recommend avoiding this place. First, the woman at the window was wearing gloves touching all over the order screen then walked over and touched all of our food. They also forgot half our order and I had to remind them. Lastly the food was awful, biscuit was hard as a rock, chicken was dry, and the mashed potatoes were FOUL. Go somewhere else. read more

They couldn't get our order correct so we ended up opting to shorten it, then they have everyone pull into a parking space to wait on their food because it is taking that long.. we wait for 20 minutes to not even get our full order (missing a DRINK) and they never even brought out the drink after we told them it was missing. Honestly this is the most disappointing place to eat in Frankfort... we all love bojangles as a whole, So we keep trying to give this one a chance and it never fails to disappoint. Why do I eat at Bojangles? Because I enjoy their chicken strips, cajun fries and biscuits. It's like that other Kentucky chicken restaurant, except, you know, not gross. I've always gotten pleasant, friendly service here. The other patrons are usually amusing to observe. And it's close to other places that I shop. Look, it isn't going to be the most amazing meal you ever had. That's not why anyone eats at a fast food chicken joint. But I've never had a BAD meal here. Just solid, fast food chicken meals. I've been on a road trip for 7 hours with 3 other people. My grandma asked for an 8 peace boneless. She didn't get it. She goes back to get it and they charge her more. For some reason, they have a 10 piece boneless chicken and a 12 piece, but not an 8 piece. Couldn't they just take 2 pieces out?? I'm am beyond annoyed and the only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 is because the food tastes good. I'm also not that good at reviewing things. We waited and waited and waited ... first for the drive thru operator to take our order and then to get our food. It took 25 minutes total. And it wasn't busy at all. Anyway, we both ordered chicken tender salads. They have stickers on them saying when they're prepared and when they should be served. We ordered Sunday at about 8:30 pm and our salads were meant to be served Saturday--so it's no surprise the tomatoes and cucumbers tasted nasty. Soggy with no flavor. I also ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and got just the potatoes -- no gravy. No dressing for the salads either. This was our first time trying Bojangles and it was a huge disappointment. There's a KFC right next door so I guess we'll try there for comfort food. read more

Absolutely the best. I am excited that they have arrived in Frankfort. We have the three peice dinner, and the chicken is fresh, brought to our table by friendlyand eager staff. I am a bit lost with the spork because it cuts the green beans rather than lifts them. Life will get better, though, now the spork is also a knife. What should we call it? A knorf? I stopped in yesterday and grabbed some breakfast and honestly wish I would have stuck with the McDonald's across the parking lot. This was my first time at a Bojangles restaurant and I had no idea what to expect. We ordered a Bojangles box that came with three sides, chicken, chicken tenders , biscuits and a half gallon of ice tea. The fries were excellent. The biscuits were outstanding and were made fresh. We enjoyed everything except the chicken. It had no seasoning and really brought down the entire experience. If the chicken was just average, this would be a place I would frequent. read more

Can't really Rate the food as I was never waited on. Walked in about 1115 lady behind the glass where it says cooking biscuits every 20 minutes smiled and acknowledge my presence. There was no one behind a cash register. Young lady work in the drive-through looked at me at least three times never acknowledged me never said someone will be with you in a minute I was just left standing there like a fool. After about 8 to 10 minutes I decided it just wasn't worth it and walked out. Either your dining room is open or it's not. If it's going to be open have folks wait on customers. The people that are working are too worried about their personal relationships and talking to each other than they are waiting on customers. read more

The chicken strips where flat and had a familiar taste of carnival... or somewhere else you knew you should never order chicken. Bought the 20pc large tailgate, drove from the west side to pick it up, got home and it was missing the biscuits, macaroni and cheese, the coleslaw was only half full, an order of mashed potatoes and a order of gravy, so half of the sides that come with the meal. Had to drive back to get it, the next day EVERYONE in my house is extremely sick from eating here, 4 people, had to miss work today because of it, total cost for eating at Bojangles - $43 for the meal, $80 for missing work the day after. Spoke to my father and he and his wife had the same experience with getting extremely sick after eating here. Would NOT recommend. read more

We were in Frankfort and had seen Bojangles on commercials while watching UofL basketball. Looked good so we stopped in. Had chicken mashed potatoes and coleslaw. It was ok but wouldn't make a special trip to get it. Wasn't a bad price for a chicken breast dinner. I like my chicken a little more spicy. If we are around one might try them again. read more
