The quality of the breaded fish is just average but that ooey gooey dill tartar sauce wins me over everytime. This week was time for my splurge. I went through the drive-thru and ordered my two Filet of Fish burgers. Unfortunately when I got home I got my BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! What! Zero, zip, nada tartar sauce on either Filet of Fish. I opened up the burgers to inspect them and yep the chintzy 1/2 slice of cheese on the fish Filet in the dry buns. I ended up adding my homemade version of dill sauce that was left over from cooking beer battered fish at home. If this review was based on this experience alone McDonald's would have earned a one star. I'm sure it was an oversight or maybe even they ran out of my favorite condiment. I won't be back this year again.
