Usually I get the tikka masala but other reviews said it was a bit tomato which I don't really like. Got the butter chicken, naan and chicken tikka pizza. The butter chicken is okay. Should've ordered medium rice when it. The naan dough tasted like the pizza dough but didn't really taste like regular naan from other places. The chicken tikka tasted like bbq chicken pizza.

You guys are sooooo awesome!!! :) Thanks for being open on Thanksgiving and preparing the MOST DELICIOUS butter chicken! I bought 5 orders of that bad boy along with a ton of Naan and rice. Technically speaking, this was a huge risk for me to bring all that butter chicken to the Friendsgiving since I never even properly tried their butter chicken before yesterday. I took a leap of faith based on their Butter Chicken pizza that I tried a couple days before. Guys, the reward to risk ratio on the gamble ended up being like 15:1. I watched 15 comrades unashamedly, face-first gorge themselves on the butter chicken. I am so serious. Absolutely obliterated. Devoured. This pack of wild animals drank down that gravy like it was water in the Mojave Desert. Thank you sooooo much for coming through for me! I am so proud to be your new customer! You guys get to have all my business now when I want Indian food or pizza... One small criticism that isn't a criticism per se: I will start by saying the butter chicken pizza was delicious! I was impressed. Technically, it was a great pizza. My only wish is that I had like a cup of the butter chicken gravy so that I can dunk the pizza in the gravy to get a super butter chickeny taste. For me, the cheese ends up over powering the butter chicken flavor. Next time, I will ask them to see if they can hook a brother up. :)

5/5 chicken tikka smaller portion but was enough for a group of 6 to share as an appetizer. It does not come with rice! 5/5 garlic naan: good portions and baked perfectly 3/5 tandoori tikka pizza. This tasted like a barbecue chicken pizza it didn't really have "tandoori" flavors 3/5 ambiance: very dark inside but there's plenty of seating 3/5 customer service: confusing on if they wanted us to sit down and order bc they still had us come to the counter to order. Came quickly once we ordered

Went there to give this place a try. We order tiki masala, rice and naan. I didn't think it was that good. The masala was too tomato tasting and not spicy. The naan was small and the rice seemed like left over from the previous day. Not worth the visit.

Ok food, $35.00 buys lunch for 2, Nan was a little on the thin side, Chicken Tikka Masala was ok, much more tomato based than Pakistan style Chicken Tikka Masala, I can see it on a pizza but Indian style is just not as good for me as Pakistani CTM. Bollywood shows on two TVs in the shop. Service was fine, order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. It was nice to try, just not the best I've had. Probably won't be back.

Ambiance: it's a small place for Indian food and pizza, good for takeout, a hidden gem located in a small plaza in South Bay area Service: very friendly and patient with questions, although it might take a while to get your food, as most of their food are made to order Food: variety choices on their menu, classic Indian cuisine and special flavors for pizza Lamb curry - ***** lamb cooked in a blend of spices and sauce, served with rice, very tasty lamb meat and curry sauce, highly recommend Chicken Tikka Masala pizza - **** Tandoori chicken with gravy, Green Bell Pepper, Onion, and their special barbeque sauce, dough was delicious chewy inside and crispy on the edge, sauce was flavorful with sweet taste, chicken meat was a bit dry, overall still recommend Price: generous portions and reasonable prices, expect $25 per person for a hearty meal, their menu price is for cash discount, credit card surcharge applies

Gobsmackingly synergetic fusion of two of the finest comfort foods. Since it was a Thursday night past 9pm, having a pizza place that opened late-ish that is also a sit-down is a rarity. Six of us decided to order and share two full pies: Tikka Masala with Chicken and the Korma with Shrimp. Waters came in a plastic bottle rather than tap, so something to consider. One of us in the group decided to order a spicy Saag Paneer and naan instead which came out slightly faster. The pizzas took almost 15 minutes, but were well worth the wait. Starting with the dough, its flat and lightly charred edges yielded a crispy, yet sufficiently rigid slice that held its toppings well. The Tikka Masala was bursting with a savory sweetness, while the Korma had creamy richness to it. To even out the portions, the logical solution was to order yet another pizza so each of us would have four slices. The last pie was the deliciously layered Saag, and its probably the one I would order again, and that's not to diminish the other two flavors at all. Service was very accommodating, and I noticed that the restaurant got busier as the night grew.

I was pretty excited to see that there was an Indian restaurant and pizza place open late one night when my cousin came over not too far from us. Naturally, since we love pizza and Indian food, we decided to give it a try and took some of their recommendations on what to order. I really enjoyed the carrot cake, it was very decadent and nice. However, I can't say the same about the pizza, it literally just seemed like somebody took a mild paneer dish and spilled it over pizza dough. The presentation looked nice, but the flavor just wasn't there. It was very mild and not complex in the flavor profile at all, definitely a red flag for Indian food/pizza. Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 3/5

I was soooo excited to find a curry spot in Gardena and the fact that there are fusion dishes makes this place extra amazing! My friend and I explore local, small business, restaurants in Gardena every week and this week brought us to Bombay Curry & Pizzeria. Hold on, because I'm about to geek out for a moment. This place does flavors right. My first bite of the samosas reminded me of what chef Samin Nosrat says food should have--salt, fat, acid, heat. Every dish we ordered was flavored perfectly. We ordered the halal chicken wings, small paneer pizza, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan. With our samosas we enjoyed the spicy green chutney sauce and a sweet (tamarind) sauce. The samosas were FAT! filled with potato and chick pea and all the flavoring, this little ball of deep fried goodness exceeded our expectations. The chicken wings are flavored and fried but the chicken remains tender and juicy For me, the main star of our mini feast was the paneer pizza! Such an amazing blend. The bell peppers and purple onions (two things I don't like because of how typically mushy and overcooked they can be) were perfect! Sweet, salty, cheesy. And the crust, thin and crispy. There was so much chicken in the tikka masala. And the sauce!!! I enjoyed a mango lassi throughout my meal. It was so refreshing. The restaurant is in a little strip mall next to a laundry mat. It's casual with Bollywood music videos playing on two tvs. The young man who took our order brought out the chutneys and our food as it was ready. He came by to ask us how things were just once, maybe twice, and that was perfectly fine. This is the kind of place where you're enjoying the experience of eating. If you need anything, you can walk up to the counter and a little bell sounds letting someone know you're there. Support local, support small businesses in our community. Definitely head on over to Bombay Curry & Pizzeria!

So bad I left it on the curb! That he did not have a receptacle outside or on the inside of their business.

Went to check the menu out for a future purchase for an event and while I was there, I asked for a scoop of ice cream, the ice cream was old and icy, not kept at the proper temperature and four dollars. Look below for the picture of what I got I could've gone and bought a half a gallon of ice cream what a rip off, when I asked the owner owner he said that's what they charge and that's it. This is in a clear 3 ounce cup and it's not even 3 ounces of ice cream. You can be the judge, but I will definitely purchase anything else from this place FOOD, the ambience was quaint, not very clean look like it was a throne together place something you would find in a Third World country, just saying

Al Hamra Kabob Grill is a restaurant run by a Pakistani owner, specializing in kebabs and grilled…read moremeats inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu also features traditional Pakistani, Persian, and Arabic dishes, such as Beef Nihari and Haleem. After several visits, here are my thoughts on some of their grilled meats and desserts. Beef Kofta - 3/5. The kofta was a bit dry and tough. I wish it had more fat and seasoning to make it juicier and more flavorful. The grilling is also somewhat inconsistent--sometimes the kofta comes out beautifully browned, while other times it's over-charred. Grilled Fish - 4/5. This is easily my favorite item on the menu and, in my opinion, their best dish. The fish is seasoned just enough to enhance its natural flavor without overpowering it. It's grilled very well, developing a beautiful golden-brown crust while remaining moist and tender inside. Beef Shish Kebab - 3.5/5. The quality of the beef is decent, especially considering the price. Given the cut of meat they use, they've done a commendable job with the grilling. The beef has a solid seasoning base and a nice sear with just enough char to add flavor without becoming overly smoky. It's reasonably tender, though I wish it retained a bit more juiciness. Chicken Shish Kebab - 3.5/5. Very similar to the beef shish kebab. It has good flavor and is grilled well, but it could benefit from being a little juicier. Gyro - 2/5. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. The gyro meat on the vertical spit often appears to be rotating without enough heat to properly caramelize and crisp the exterior. As a result, the meat comes across as dry, rubbery, and lacking the rich roasted flavor that makes a great gyro. Kunafa (Knafeh) - 3/5. This dessert has both strengths and weaknesses. The cheese filling has a pleasant, slightly salty flavor and a creamy texture, and I appreciate that it isn't overly sweet. However, the syrup is underwhelming. A good kunafa should be generously coated with a fragrant sugar syrup - ideally infused with rose water or orange blossom water - to provide sweetness and aroma. I also wish the kataifi, the shredded pastry dough, were crispier and lighter to create a better contrast with the gooey cheese filling. Overall, Al Hamra Kabob Grill is one of the better places to enjoy Middle Eastern-style grilled dishes in the South Bay. While a few menu items could be improved, the grilled fish stands out as excellent, and the shish kebabs are solid choices. The owner is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, neighborhood atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. It's not perfect, but it's a restaurant I enjoy visiting from time to time and one I'd recommend if you're craving grilled Middle Eastern flavors.

For drinks I had the cucumber mint lemonade. It's their newest drink. So delicious! It's cold, refreshing, and delivers a burst of flavor in your mouth. A must try! For food I had the chicken tikka masala (mild), half rice, and garlic naan. They also give you a small side salad. The garlic naan was the best I've ever had. So moist and not burnt like a lot of other places. You can easily pull it apart with your fingers as it screams, "eat me! eat me!", with delight. The chicken tikka masala's flavor was amazing! I like to try things mild first to see how they taste. Some places serve bland food and mask it with spiciness. Not here. The flavor is all there. Next time I think I'm going to adventure on the wild side and try the medium and then possibly the spicy. The included salad was simple yet so satisfying. The dressing is definitely unique and packs a punch with the spice level but... I like it. *wink* *wink* hahhaa. The rice was perfection. I hate it when it's not cooked enough and too mushy or overcooked and hard. Originally I was going to eat half tonight and then the other half tomorrow but... I know myself. I would just go to bed, wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it, then not be able to go back to sleep until I finished the rest because it would keep calling my name from the kitchen. Hahahaha. I didnt get to see the inside because I got it to go but I'll let you guys know in an update. The staff there is great and they seem like a very nice family. As I've always said, I'm a huge supporter of family businesses. I'm soooo happy I gave this place a shot. I am not only coming back, I'm definitely going to have them cater some of my parties. They're thick, they're flavorful, they hit you with the right spice. Normal spice is a white man's medium high so they got their base down which is more than half the battle. They cook the Paneer just right. And really enjoyed the Bartha! That The not so good: the chicken is way overcooked, I don't know if it's breast or thigh, but it definitely tasted like a dried out breast. Possibly using the tandoori and just dropping it into the gravy, but a perfectly cooked chicken thigh would take the chicken tikka masala to the moon. Second, the Paneer portion size was a joke. Maybe six cubes in the whole deal. Needs to be at least double. I'm ready to try again you gotta protect your meats!

I told her I had never seen the barbecue sauce before and asked what it looked like. She repeatedly just said "it looks like barbecue sauce" instead of simply showing it to me or explaining it. I even asked if she could show me the sauce, and she still responded dismissively and seemed annoyed that I was asking basic questions before deciding what I wanted on my food. What made the interaction worse was that there wasn't even a line or rush happening at the time. I wasn't trying to hold anything up -- I just wanted to know what I was ordering.
