The only thing that they should change in this day of COVID-19 is curbside delivery going inside and waiting in the restaurant with six other groups of people was a little uncomfortable. The food is fantastic I was just encourage an alternative curbside delivery instead of having people go into the restaurant and waiting for the order in a group. Simply the best Indian food I've had in my life (given that I rarely order it :)) Shrimp marsala was out of this world. Get an order of it with garlic naan and you will be full for the rest of the day and might even have the leftovers for the next day. Simple review- the food is pretty good, I prefer tandoor on university for Indian food in Provo. But the food is ok. A little bit overpriced for their portioning (again tandoor is cheaper and better imo) and it's always super busy which makes the overall experience a little less enjoyable as it's loud and you have a wait time and the service is a little less prompt. But that's anywhere that's busy. Definitely try it out if your looking for Indian food but just be cautious if you have a time limit or anything. read more

Good Indian food. I ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken coconut kurma, and Bollywood chicken. The spice level of everything was extra spicy. The food was spicy the night we ate it and extra spicy the next day. I always think the food tastes better the next day after the spices have had a chance to meld together longer. The chicken tikka masala was not acidic and had a smooth tomato gravy. The chicken chunks in the sauce were large so I had to cut them up as I ate. It was not my favorite version of chicken tikka masala I've had. My husband ate the chicken coconut kurma- he said it was good. I have a nut allergy so did not try it. My favorite was the Bollywood chicken. It was pineapple flavor curry with coconut milk. The potatoes and chunks of pineapple complimented each other. Once again, there were large chicken chunks in the curry. I would definitely order the Bollywood chicken again. The garlic naan was good. It was nice and garlicky. We also got the assorted appetizer with samosas, chicken pakoras, onion bajis. My favorite with the Samoa with tamarind sauce. The samosa was crisp on the outside and the potatoes and peas were soft and hot on the inside. read more

Wow. Such comforting food. We ordered Chicken Tikki , Chicken Curry, and Garlic Naan Bread, and the sweet Naan Bread. The spices were just perfect. Due to COVID all food is take out. I ordered online which their website has made this very easy. When I picked up the food it was perfectly on time, ready to go, and piping hot! Why did it take me so long to try this place?! Food is excellent. It took me so long because I couldn't convince my husband to eat here. And he who says he hates Indian food was eating his words afterwards. It took over an hour to get seated but it was worth it. Service was excellent. The gentleman pouring our water was helpful with suggestions. We ordered the sampler appetizer and loved trying all the various dishes. We got 4 sides of garlic naan for our party of 4. Huge pieces and we could have just shared 2. We tried 3 different entrees to share. Chicken tikka masala #2 favorite. Chicken coconut kumra which was also excellent. And our group favorite was the chicken makhani which was recommended by the guy filling our water. It was a little more savory but the flavor combination was amazing. Amazing Indian food at Bombay House is amazing. We are OBSESSED with Bombay House. Everything I've tried there I've enjoyed but the chicken makanhi (butter chicken) and chicken tikka masala are our all time favorites. We get mild spice levels but you can get spice on the side to mix in if one of you likes it a little spicer. The garlic naan is to die for (so is the regular) and at $2.50 a basket we order 3 for to people to take on leftover. If you're in Utah you have to try Bombay House. Also their mango lemonade is perfection, not too sweet. Do yourself a favor and go. read more

Bombay House is a wonderful restaurant. It offers your typical delicious Indian dishes, a nice ambiance, and good service without being overly expensive. At $12-15 a plate for most entrees, it fits the category of a nice night out without breaking the bank. Don't forget to get some nan though . The chicken tikka masala is my favorite dish to get. I recommend the medium spice. I've had the mild and the hot which are both good, but with the hot, I felt like you sacrifice some of the fullness of flavor for added heat. The mild is a little too sweet for me, and lacks some of the rounded flavors that come through with the medium. The medium has the full blend of Indian curry flavor without any compromises. Lastly, this place is always pretty busy. I recommend calling around 4:00 pm go get reservations for that night. Sometimes no one is at the front desk to answer your call, so just keep calling til someone picks up. read more

Very popular place, plan on waiting 45 mins to an hour if you go on the weekend. We ordered the chicken makhani and raj chicken. The chicken makhani is very rich and buttery. A lil too much for me, but taste great dipped in plain naan. The raj chicken taste like an Indian version of sweet and sour chicken, still good tho. Not as authentic tastes. On their busiest night of the year (graduation day for BYU) they somehow managed to fit in our group of 17, endure some silly person's request for separate checks (which we overruled to treat the grads) take everyone's drink and meal orders with a smile and get every single naan and raita and spice level customization dropped off to perfection! They also gave us the time and space to join together and celebrate as we came from far and wide and the grace to look away when we became overly emotional as we grieved the absence of a loved one.
