I was recently a customer at bombshell. The pros: It is a very beautiful salon and the staff is friendly as far as I could tell. However, that is it for the positive. I received a full set which is about $60 not including tip. This was the most expensive and worst manicure I have ever received. That of my nail shape is inconsistent. The paint job is uneven and spotty on most of the nails and there's glue still stuck under the acrylic as well as the thick bubbling acrylic on the majority of my nails. Not to bentonite l mention, My nails are so sharp that I'm actually scraping myself Save your money, and go somewhere else read more

On 07/22/2020 I came to this nail shop for my eyebrows, gel pedicure and an acrylic fill. Nails were perfect! Raven was absolutely great! And the man that did my gel pedicure was great! Eyebrows were a completely different story. I told the lady who did them (didn't catch her name) that I wanted her to just clean them up. She says okay that's fine let me map them out. Proceeds to map them out and I said okay cool. When she's finally done waxing them I look and she chopped off the hair right in between my nose ( I'll include pics) so now it looks like a v right between my nose. I was not happy, told her I didn't want her to touch anything else. She's begging me what can I do to fix it, you don't like it you don't have to pay. I should have knew that she sucked Bc she was waxing them in like pieces instead of one area at one time. She also was using a razor???? Anyways the staff noticed how terrible she did. The dumb ass owner tells me they look fine and tried to insinuate that I was trying to get over or didn't have the money to pay. My nails and feet alone were 133 and I included a $30 tip. I wasn't paying for botched ass eyebrows. She was rude. Didn't even apologize, kept telling me they look fine and if I pay she will fix them. Called her the next day Bc it's noticeable how bad they are. She is still like they look good. You want to get over and want free services. No, I wanted you to apologize and admit how bad your employee messed up. Anyways, don't let the lady do your eyebrows! And how trash of you for you to own a nail shop and even attempt to insinuate that I couldn't pay for $12 ugly ass eyebrows!!!! read more

Bummed. I had high hopes for this place because of the reviews. So much so that I went despite it being 20 minutes from my house. The place is cute and there are a lot of stations. The plexiglass between customers and techs could all use a wipe down, but no biggie. Everyone was polite. My nail tech was nice, but the whole experience was a let down. First, she removed my hangnails and cuticles with a nail drill. I've never experienced that before and never want to again. It was uncomfortable and ended up causing a bleed on one of my fingers. That's fine, that happens sometimes. She apologized, but then compounded the discomfort by forgetting about it and filing, buffing, and putting acetone on it. Other than some spillover (you can see on my middle nail), the nails look great. EXCEPT, the color didn't match the sample nail. I picked a pinkish-nude color and ended up with a purplish-gray. It was color 41 but looked identical to color 37. I pointed that out, and she called over a colleague (or manager?) and I was told, "Oh sorry yeah sometimes the colors don't match. And that one is for a gel polish, not dip." But he was the one that handed me the nail samples while knowing I came in for dipping powder. They did say sorry but just didn't act sorry, which may have made all the difference. read more

I love this spot! It's very chic and cute and the staff here is so friendly. It was my first time here and due to COVID I was very worried going in but as I stepped in the girl who greeted me asked me to wash my hands and got me all ready for the pedicure. As I soaked my feet in warm water, Sara came in. She was very sweet and let me take my time on picking my color. She even helped me pick out the color for me. She took her time to do my mani and pedi. I didn't do anything fancy stuck to the basic regular polish pedicure and got my gel manicure. I do love this color in matte. Definitely recommend this place and definitely recommend Sara. read more

I've been coming to see Tiana every 3 weeks for a gel pedi and mani since October 2019. I came to her the first time for my wedding and she did a gorgeous ombré dip - it was perfect. When I came back from my honeymoon she did one in black and red that was show stopping too. (Pic included) It's a lovely salon and all of the people here are super nice. I have been coming to tiana for so long now to get a gel pedicure and she always does the best!! always clean and friendly service

First of all I would like to see everyone here was very very nice. It saddens me to write bad reviews when people are nice. But the gel manicure and pedicure I got were both so awful. It was like they have never done nails before. In both the manicure and pedicure and my cuticles were not pushed back and cut off. They just buffed it all with the drill (which splits your cuticle). They buffed all the gel off which has many know it can be painful when the drill is grinding into your real nails. The whole point of getting gel is to not destroy your nails like acrylic. During the pedicure you're supposed to get a callus remover which she almost skipped. I said callus remover please. Instead of putting the solution on and grating off the Callus she just used the same buffers used for the nail on the bottom of my foot! I couldn't believe this. Then on my nails oh my goodness. My nails were already filed perfectly so I don't know why she filed them very misshapen with the edges not buffed and all jagged. Then she basically painted outside the lines, getting paint on the side of my fingertips and scratching it off painfully instead of using acetone with a brush to remove it. It was obvious the nails needed another coat but at this point I didn't even bother. The techs were both very nice but seemed to have no experience with Nails. The first time I came in here was to have a full set for my birthday (it's the orange/pink set one) and Tiana did them EXACTLY how I wanted them to look. She looked at the nail inspo and did it right I was so happy to have Tiana cause she really took her time and took care of my nails. She's also very kind and sweet thank you again Tiana! Then, the second time I came in unfortunately I did not have Tiana do my nails because she was out of town so Rachel did my nails. Now, I really had high expectations about this place because of my last experience. Sadly, this second time my nails set (baby blue) did not come out the way I wanted them to be. My nails were so chunky and big. Plus, I felt rushed. I really liked this place cause it's clean and all the staff is super nice but I just see no point in coming back when it's a hit or miss. I moved to Las Vegas towards the end of 2016 and Cindy has been doing my nails ever since. I live all the way in Centennial Hills, but I'll follow her to any salon she goes to. Since May of this year, Cindy is at Bombshell. As such, I've been patronizing this salon for about four months. Upon first impression, the salon is nicely decorated and clean. I'm always greeted soon after entering and offered a beverage. The other techs always smile at me and seem pretty happy to be there. The salon always seems pretty busy, but I usually book a week or so in advance and have no trouble getting an appointment. Aside from being a skilled nail tech, Cindy is always pleasant and asks about my family and work. I appreciate that she remembers the little details. In the past three years of having my nails done by Cindy, I've broken a nail MAYBE twice and I've received hundreds of compliments on my nails from various baristas, bank tellers, and coworkers. She's truly the best nail tech I've found in Las Vegas. Another thing I like about Bombshell is their loyalty program. Courtney, the receptionist, was very helpful in explaining it to me today. You earn half a point for every dollar spent when you use a debit/credit card, or a full point per dollar when you use cash. The rewards vary from a gift card to the salon to a deluxe pedicure. I appreciate that Courtney took the time to explain the program to me and help me get signed up (a very easy process, but one that I wasn't previously invited to do). I am extremely impressed by the salon's professionalism and follow up! I had a missed call and voicemail yesterday from the receptionist, Brie. She offered a very sincere apology and asked if I was open to coming back that evening or the next morning for another nail tech to redo my nails. I called her back and thanked her for her voicemail - I was skeptical to return but she assured me that they had a popular nail tech available named Ti who would completely redo my nails and that I would not be disappointed. I headed back over and received a new dip set from Ti. Honestly, it was like night and day the difference in how my nails looked and felt! Ti did an amazing job and all of the workers were very nice and apologetic - and thankful I gave them the opportunity to redo my nails. - 5/5 for the very sweet and professional young lady Brie, who 100% turned around my experience :) - 5/5 for Ti, as I am very pleased with how beautiful my nails look now! - 4/5 for my combined experiences - definitely try to get an appointment with Ti if you can (he's very popular and gets booked up) - you will absolutely love your nails! read more

A friend and I came here after having lunch in a restaurant located in the same plaza. We both have our go-to nail salon already, but decided to just go for it and check this place out due to all the good reviews. Upon entering, the salon is nicely decorated and smelled good. We were greeted by the staff and didn't have to wait long to be seated despite not having appointments. Ti did my gel pedi. He was awesome! He made us some delicious honey ginger green tea and even gave me color recommendations. I like how my toes turned out and his massage was great! My friend sat next to me and Jasmine did her pedi. She was not happy with the results! The paint job and shape were uneven and Jasmine left nail polish on her skin. Ti noticed and offered to fix it for her, which he did after he finished working on my feet. After my pedi, I wanted to do a gel mani as well so I was seated with Jasmine. She's a nice sweet girl, but she could not shape. All I wanted was your basic simple square shape. She filed it the first time and I kindly let her know that they were crooked and even pointed out which sides were higher. She filed again, but no success. We went back and forth and it just wasn't getting better. My nails were basically filed to the skin at that point so I just gave up and let her continue. I saw on Yelp that they offer a 7 day guarantee, but my nails are filed so short that the only way to fix the shape is to probably put acrylics and I do not want that. Let me start by saying Jenny is so nice, she was my first person of contact and did an AMAZING job on my pedicure, very personable not to mention she checked on me after I left her station to get my nails done... my nail tech did an okay job they look presentable I am very particular there are a few bump/dips on my nails, however the woman that did my designs was my nails saving grace.... I'm new to the area and saw great reviews for this nail salon but I should've been more specific about the technician. I had Lexi do my dip powder and she is a super sweet girl but her technique needs work. The surface/top coat of all of my nails is very uneven and patchy. I always file my own nails to my desired shape before getting them done but after she filed the dip powder my nails look blunted and some are even lopsided. I did ask her to fix one and she very nicely obliged but it came out the same way so I didn't want to ask to fix the rest. I really want to reiterate that she was very very sweet and I don't want to get her in trouble, she probably just needs a bit more practice. If I do come back here I will ask for someone a bit more experienced, it kinda sucks to have spent $50 for this. read more

I got a full set with gel, single color coffin cut manicure for $60. Lily was fast but thorough, double checking that the length of the nails matched, making sure the ends were straight, and that no bumps were left on the surface. i recently moved to henderson and have been trying to find a new go-to nail studio. bombshell was the second studio i went to. i would not recommend going there. not sure what the lady's name was that did my nails (i either didn't ask or simply can't remember), but she was definitely older. her energy was cold, and she hurt my nails so bad when she was removing my dip manicure. she also filed down my actual nail, so all of my nails are extremely weak. my dip also completely lifted on the top layer? she also didn't do a clear base coat of the dip--she started with color which i've never had before. i will never be back. read more
