Cute little spot for quick and tasty breakfast. We came here before heading back home. The prices are little high compared to what we are used to but understandable since it's out here what feels like the middle of nowhere. The staff is friendly and kind. The food was really good. I had the biscuit special and it was tasty. What really stood out to us is that the staff all work together. You don't have just one waiter/waitress. We were in town and stopped for the first time at this little gem to have breakfast. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Service was good and prompt. The ambiance is casual hometown. On an another day we decided to stop in for lunch and had the pastrami! This, was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had. It was not fatty or greasy and was delicious! Finally tried this place for breakfast and was not disappointed. They squeeze their own oranges so the mimosa was delicious. They have a real espresso machine so you can get espresso drinks. We came in with 20 people mostly wrestlers, hungry for breakfast without giving them a heads up notice they sat all of us immediately got all of our dishes out quickly and all the food tasted great. I can't say enough about this place. First of all our food was beyond our expectations. My husband got steak and eggs and it was a great cut of meat AND cooked perfectly, not to mention the flavor. The most mediocre breakfast I've ever had. Pale hash browns, runny eggs, corn beef hash straight from the can, and barely toasted toast. All of it fairly tasteless. But I guess it was not a surprise when the food appeared less than 3 minutes after we placed the order. Look, I like prompt service as much as anyone, but come on. On the plus side, my wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak, but I had a couple pieces and wasn't impressed. Decor from 1973 doesn't help either. The waitress was efficient, not unfriendly, and didn't drop any of our food, but she didn't earn herself any extra tip either. Here's the bottom line on any review, will I come back? There is not a bad thing on the menu here. A local staple since the 1970's, it's got everything you could want in a simplified yet delicious menu. Portions are excellent, service is excellent, consistent is excellent, always clean, rarely a wait, fresh everything and friendly staff/owners.
