I came in today with my boyfriend for lunch. I had the spicy fried chicken and was so impressed with the food. Be warned that the spicy chicken is quite spicy-it was perfect for me but too spicy for my boyfriend who got the soy garlic boneless chicken. We also tried the sliders which had a lot of flavor and veggies and pickled radishes that were sweet and helped to calm down the space of the spicy fried chicken for me. French fries came with our chicken and were served hot and fresh. I will be coming back to this restaurant for the fried chicken over and over again. Hands down best fried chicken ever. I've been to many Bonchon's across the US and this is one of the best. We got the famous the combo (spicy and soy garlic), pork buns, and bulgogi. Be careful, the spicy sneaks up on you, but so addictive..and that crunch!!! We took the leftovers home and ate it again a few hours late and it still had that crunch! Crazy! The bulgogi was also really good, tender, and full of flavor. Awesome spot. Can't wait to eat here again. read more

I've had bonchon in other cities, but when a smaller chain expands I'm always worried that the quality may dip. This was not the case at this new location, where the service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. I typically skip on the appetizers and move right for the chicken (combo, soy garlic is my go-to), but decided to try the Pork Buns this time as well. They had great flavor, but the bao wasn't as fluffy as you might get at a bao house. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the coleslaw was delicious, and the seasoned fries were a great add on. Definitely recommend trying this out if you've never visited a Bonchon before! read more

I want to love this place so bad, but I feel compelled to tell the truth in hopes that it gives your company a chance to fix it. I love the flavor of your bulgogi, however, the quality of the meat makes it hard to digest sometimes. I know bulgogi comes with a bit of fat for flavor, but there's simply too much left on. It feels like I'm eating a bowl of bulgogi-flavored fat. With the price of these bowls, the quality of the meat should be substantially better. I plan to remain a customer for now, but I would like to see better quality of meat. read more

The food is good, but the service is bad, we don't feel welcome when we walk in, no greetings at all. We stand there for few mins without staff asking at all. Server name is Deisy, I hope she learn how to be a server, When we eat, she sweeps right next to us. If it's busy. I understand but there's only two tables there and both tables checkout paid already. I used to be a server no matter how busy we are. We used to always go to the other location which was an hour drive East- but we did it because Bonchon is the best! So happy there is this closer new location! It was clean, the atmosphere was inviting, their playlist was incredible and all the staff was so friendly. The food was 11/10 per usual. Yesterday was my first time trying this place! The people working were extremely kind and patient and the Korean fried chicken was fantastic. I ordered a small wings with both flavors. The soy garlic was delicious but the spicy was a bit too much for my tolerance but the chicken was extremely crunchy and super flavorful with both flavors. I can't wait to try out more dishes they offer! My only critique was that they only have two options for the sauce on the wings, I wish there was a little more variety, even salt and pepper. First of all, the restaurant name is BONCHON not BOUCHON. Second, this place has DELICIOUS food. Get ready for a flavor explosion in your mouth. The spicy chicken is incredibly delicious & crispy, yet not drenched in sauce. We ordered half & half so we could try the plain, which is perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Also had the bao buns with pork which was my personal favorite. The buns were perfectly soft, pork grilled to perfection and accompanied by pickles & slaw. Excited to have this place in the neighborhood! Fried chicken was excellent. We did legs and wings half and half in sauce and glad we did bc the spicy definitely had a kick. Japchae and Parmesan fries were delicious, as were the steamed shrimp shu mai. Service had a few kinks, which is to be expected for a new restaurant opening in this time of staffing shortages so have some patience as they get everything figured out. Completely incompetent service. Received the wrong chicken . Called to ask if we could get the correct order they said yes, we showed up to get the remade order and they said we needed to bring in the wrong chicken (which wasn't mentioned in the phone call). Did not offer to solve the problem, I ended up having to order and PAY FOR new chicken! Absolutely horrible. My husband called back to clarify what got lost in translation and the employee hung up on him. We asked to speak to a manager and she said he's in a business meeting in Chicago. No effort to solve their own mistake. We will never be back. There is a sign on their front desk asking for people to be nice to their staff. Worst customer service ever! Placed my order on the phone for pick up and was given 20-25 minutes to be ready. I arrived 25 minutes later and they had not started my order. I had to sit and wait another 15 minutes! I got my order home and to add insult to injury, they forgot to give me one of my dishes! I called to get a refund and they wanted me to come back to get my missing order and refused to credit my card. NEVER AGAIN. read more
