    Do they even work?

Ordered for superbowl more than 72 hours ahead for the superbowl and it's 40 mins after the time we requested and no explanation. I get that mistakes happen or orders are overlooked but there's a way to handle this with grace and that was not the case here. The two servers or counter folks just went to the back kitchen to hide. When other customers came they'd come out to give their orders but otherwise didn't make any attempt to explain or share the reason why my order wasn't ready. When I asked 40 minutes later they said they didn't see my ticket. Had they just told me that at the start and said they'd start the order and an actual estimate it would've been fine. But to dodge the whole issue and lie when I arrived by saying just 5 minutes is wrong. And no apology. No offer to make anything right. You try to support local business but man they just fail.

We were greeted quickly staff was friendly I got the sampler plate the fries were great, as were the potstuckers, chicken was ok. Sampler big enough for two to fill up. So good price. Also came with coleslaw and corn which were pretty good.

Half spicy and half soy garlic wings

On this rainy day my youngest was craving Korean fried chicken so we decided to try this place out and take it to go. We ordered 30 pieces of spicy and soy garlic wings and an order of dukboki. The wings are fried crispy....this was a ! The spicy sauce was indeed spicy and not too overwhelming, soy garlic was not bad either- it was okay. I will say even after glazing it the sauces soaked in well to the chicken and wasn't soggy! Dukboki on the other hand....total miss! I'm sorry can we please go back to how dukboki is supposed to taste or at least keep close to how it should originally taste and keep it simple? Now if customers want to add cheese, make it an option, not a standard? Seaweed roll wrapped in noodles were added into this too...this too can be an option...it's really unnecessary! The taste on this was a miss....yes it had rice cakes...I could taste some spice at the end, but I don't know what the sauce is supposed to be. Way too much going on...flavors being a total miss! If craving for Korean Fried Chicken...definitely go and pick your choice. I would go back for that...the dukboki...I will be definitely be passing up on that!

The chicken wings was good crispy outside , meat soft inside mixed with tasty sauce and the chicken sandwich were perfect meals with their special sauce Like this restaurant not as the last place ( Irvine) their food fresh , perfect fried not over and not oily. Nice service here.

Tasty Korean Fried Chicken, and Asian Fusion dishes! From the wings and bao buns to the bulgogi fries and potstickers, all the dishes had great flavor. My favorite was the soy garlic chicken wings.

Went for the $1 wing deal, with 15 pieces as the limit per person. The wings look big because of the crispy batter but was a bit dry from the lack of sauce. I wish they tossed more sauce on the wings as they looked lackluster & plain. I remember the wings here used to be so juicy but quality changed. Sauces are extra $. There was only 1 server there who was also the only worker on floor. She was pretty inattentive, checking in once the whole time.

    Seoul Sampler

My friend and I came here and ordered the Seoul Sampler -- 15/10. The chicken was incredibly crisp and flavorful, the seasoning was mind-blowing. The bulgogi fries were also a 15/10, the fries could've been a bit crispier but i'll digress. We weren't fans of the coleslaw or the corn, but everything else was great. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because the restaurant was empty and our server was pretty much MIA until it was time to pay. The ambiance, though, was really nice -- no heavy fried-food smell, and the music was at the perfect volume. Overall, it was an 8/10 experience, and I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

The best Korean friend chicken spot. Their service is amazing everytime I come in or even order out and their workers are very attentive. Whenever I come in, they greet us and seat us right away. Food takes about 10-15 minutes to come out but it is always worth it. The soy garlic chicken wings are my favorite and now their glass noodles are too. Their food is always packed with flavor but its never too much, it is the perfect amount of seasonings. In addition to that, the place is always clean and the tables are always wiped down.

Saw the place had good reviews so decided to try it out. Place has decent seating and was nice and clean with nice polite servers. I tried the pork belly fried rice and it was good. They didnt have some items i wanted to order from the menu but id still like to give the place another try to see if I'll be a return customer.

    What I ordered....

I want a refund. You can't post your item online and make it all appetizing and give consumers a fucking basic corn dog and charge me 5+ tax.

Drinks and food were both good, worth the wait. Chicken Wings -crispy and light, chicken was soo juicy. We loved the raw minced garlic sprinkled over top. Saltado Fries (w/ Filet Mignon)- Sauce/glaze they used to stir fry the dish was just the right amount of sweet and stickiness. Something about their green sauce is so addicting. Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, we ordered it medium. Chifa Fried Rice (with Filet Mignon)- fried rice had plenty of wok heat aroma. Next time if we ordered both the fried rice and saltado fries, we might opt for a different protein rather than both being Filet Mignon. Garlic Butter Prawns -shrimp had the perfect snap and cooked perfectly. Sauce paired well with the rice, rich and decadent. Rib Bone Soup -sooo good! Beef ribs were fall off the bone tender. Soup was clear but flavorful which helped wash down the rest of our meal. If you love glass noodles, you have to give this a go.

The inside area is a bit cramped and doesn't really have a good ambiance. The service at Kei concept restaurants is pretty solid, the workers are very nice and considerate. My favorite dishes are the Asian pear salad and the Lomo saltado fries with filet mignon. I really recommend the pear salad because the arugula, burrata, the dressing with the Korean pear is so refreshing. One downside is that they're a bit too pricey now so I don't go as much as I did before.

Started with the Hamachi Crudo - fresh hamachi with aguachile, avocado, cucumber, serrano, and macerated strawberries. The Momonoki Chicken Wings followed with a crispy 12-hour brined chicken glazed in caramel fish sauce, Thai chili, and scallions. Sweet, savory, crispy... these disappeared quickly. The Dashi Pesto came with pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, dashi-infused pesto, blistered cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan. Then came the Gochujang Pork Belly over mashed potatoes with mozzarella and scallions. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, but those mashed potatoes deserve their own review. Seriously, the softest and creamiest mashed potatoes ever. Ever. Finished the savory side with the Miso Bacon Carbonara - creamy miso-Calabrian chili carbonara with crispy bacon, Parmesan, and scallions. Rich, comforting, and another dish worth coming back for. Dessert brought strawberry lychee ice cream and sesame creme brulee. Both were pleasant, although the savory dishes were definitely stars of the evening. It wasn't that busy yet but after a few minutes, large group of people started showing up. We did have a reservation prior. The cafe is really nice, pretty big and spacious. All of the staff are really nice. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 main dish to share. I love getting their cloud matcha latte, it has this sweet and salty earthy taste that I love. My bf got the marble coffee, he said it was pretty good as well. Then we had calamari, spicy wontons and THE DAO. Calamari was plentiful in serving, comes with a sauce and I really liked their sauce, it has citrusy taste. The spicy wontons are a crowd favorite as well for me. It definitely puts it on the top spot of spicy wontons I've tried from other spots. THE DAO (yes, it needed the caps lock on the name), this is my top appetizer from this cafe. The first time I tried it, I was craving it for a while. Some people might say it's a simple appetizer, but for me it's the taste and flavor that put it on the top spot. For the main dish we had Xo Chien, it's a crispy rice with pork floss, egg, chinese sausage. It's a delightful dish, and the flavor and texture is pretty nice as well. My bf loves this dish. Definitely recommend going here for a brunch. Can't wait to come back and try their menu for lunch and dinner.

Back Again... and Somehow This Fusion Spot Still Hits!…read more Came here for breakfast with my girlfriend, and this is one of those spots I somehow end up visiting about once a year. Usually, when you revisit a restaurant after some time, you start noticing the quality slipping a little... but nope. This place has officially hit FOUR times in a row! Dry Bun Bo Hue -- $21 | 8.8/10 Although it says "dry," there's actually about 2 tablespoons of broth hiding at the bottom, and LET ME TELL YOU... that sauce is where the magic happens! It has this amazing sweet, spicy, slightly sour aroma that coats every noodle and pairs so well with the chopped beef. The noodles were cooked perfectly, too. I haven't had this since last June, so I was definitely a happy girl. Just squeeze a whole lemon over the top and BOOM--perfection! Squid & Mango Salad -- $16 | 8.5/10 So fresh and refreshing! The squid wasn't overly cooked or rubbery, and the mango had just the right amount of sweetness. Add in the peanuts, pickled veggies, herbs, and that sesame cracker for some crunch... and YES PLEASE! Such a fun combination of flavors and textures. Bun Ca -- $17 | 7/10 My girlfriend ordered this one, and I had to sneak a bite, of course. It's a fish noodle dish that was good, but I felt like it was missing that extra flavor element to really make it pop. Since this is a newer dish, I can definitely see them tweaking it and making it even better! Mango Sticky Rice -- $9 | 7.8/10 A little sweeter than my personal preference, but that purple sticky rice with the creamy sauce and fresh baby coconut?! DIVINE. The combination was seriously delicious--I just wish it had been slightly less sweet. And shoutout to Thomas, our waiter, who was so sweet and kind and took great care of us! What I love most is that I'm not even a huge fan of fusion food, yet somehow this place continues to impress me every single time I come back. Four visits later and they're still holding their own! Definitely one of my favorite spots, and if you're curious about their other concepts, definitely check out their other restaurants too! Beautiful ambiance and decor. Happy EATS!

We got the picanha fried rice, filet Mignon lomo saltado, beef and mushroom fried rice, and shrimp garlic noodles. Picanha Fried Rice (4/5) - The picanha was cooked perfectly and paired really nice with the fried rice. The green sauce definitely complimented the dish overall but I think there could've been a little more seasoning added to the fried rice overall. It was missing some salt or spice (which you can ask for on the side). Beef and Mushroom Rice (3.5/5) - This was a tasty and classic dish but I would suggest getting other dishes. Portion was great though! Shrimp Garlic Noodles (4/5) - The noodles were great, you can really taste the garlic in them but the Parmesan was a little overpowering personally. I wish they used unpeeled shrimp since it caused a little bit of a mess with using hands. The overall dish was good but was missing a little bit of flavor. Definitely tasted better asking for chili oil and their spicy sauce to mix in with it. Filet Mignon Lomo Saltado (4.5/5) - This is one of my favorite dishes at any restaurant so I had to get it here. The seasoning was perfect on the fries, steak, and onions (there was a little too much salt) and all paired well with the rice. Service was great, the restaurant was really clean. Will be back!

The diner is very clean with interesting artwork and vibrant colors. I got the Five-Spice Chicken Fried Steak, Mama's Crispy Rolls, and a cup of Chicken broth to share. The rolls were hot and crispy with fresh leafy greens. The chicken fried steak was very crispy with a consistency almost like fried chicken. The taste is different from a traditional southern type of chicken fried steak. It had an interesting flavor like a mix of the pho seasoning. It is a brownish yellowish color and tastes a little like curry. It paired well with the tots. This was a hearty but not super heavy brunch dish and having a cup of the chicken broth was perfect to wash everything down. The breakfast burrito looked very good on the menu and I might try that for on another visit. I would recommend this diner for anyone looking for one with a retro modern feel and fusion food and good service.

Definitely transported me into that retro diner feel. My personal favorite is the Vietnamese Bo kho both with pho and egg noodles. I like both. Very hearty and filling of flavor. Beef tender and seasoned well. Maybe a little less salt, but overall really good! I like to squeeze a lot of lemon to balance it out. My friend says their Coconut Basil Salmon Curry is delicious and a must try! We also like the fusion twist on Asian cuisine.

All of the sides are actually good, their sushi is fresh, and their JBBQ meats are juicy! Service is always super quick and there's always someone checking in on us. Some of my notable favorite dishes: - beef tongue - salmon belly nigiri - truffle toro hand roll - uni udon It's pretty dim inside and gives a high-end vibe. I have yet to try their more expensive menus but I appreciate that their cheapest one still has such high quality and variety!

We are all very happy with the quality of ingredients and variety offered. It was appreciated that most items had a refreshing aspect so we did not stop as early as we thought. The menu is clearly very thought out and made with care. It was also convenient to order through a phone as well. I do have to say I was disappointed in the Uni pasta and wagyu sliders. These items were my favorite when i went near opening but it seems like the changed the recipe/preparation method for it and skimped on the uni by A LOT. In additions, we tried three rolls and did not particularly like any of them. Perhaps they should revisit this part of the menu. Tom yum was too sweet and lackluster too but that's me being picky. Overall, the $55 menu is a solid choice and you will leave happy and full (with a bonus ice cream in the end too!) Other notes: lots of parking large plaza
