Tried this place along time ago in San Jose and it's been my favorite Korean Fried Chicken ever since. Their double fried chicken has a unique batter unlike most of the other kfc places around town such as BB.Q, Pelicana, etc. I used to think the price was high compared to other chicken chains but it's on par with Jollibee prices so it's worth a try if you've never had it. Order ahead unless you got time to wait sometimes it's takes hella long to cook!

Came here because my godson wanted chicken ordered the half and half and the wait was longer than 10/15 min I was originally quoted for but it's whatever. The spicy is spicy but is good and so was the soy. Almost $50 for 30 wings.

Underrated KFC! The chicken wings here are always cooked fresh and you can tell by the heat and crunch! Typically, there's just one or two servers but they are very kind with the many to-go orders that come in. It's a casual chicken spot with indoor and outdoor seating but that doesn't stop them from having a wide menu with desserts too - the korean donuts !

I ordered Bonchon on Sunday after work for a work meeting because everyone was curious to try Korean fried chicken, and this location was close to us. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The soy garlic wings were extremely salty. It honestly just tasted like straight soy sauce. I barely tasted any garlic at all. It felt like the chicken was just soaked in soy sauce and salt rather than being a balanced soy garlic flavor. The spicy wings were also disappointing. They barely had any sauce on them and honestly tasted like plain fried chicken. There was almost no spice at all -- definitely not what you'd expect when ordering spicy wings. Overall, I regret spending money here and won't be coming back.

The food here was delicious! Full of flavor. The service was amazing, everyone was really friendly and attentive. The place was clean and overall a great spot to grab a meal. I definitely recommend it.

This is a must try if you like fried chicken with Korean sauces as well as soju or beer. The chicken is one of my favorite as it is really crunchy and packs a lot of flavor. Any of the flavors are good but if you feel unsure, maybe you can get the sauce on the side. But I highly suggest getting the chicken in the sauce so that the flavor is evenly distributed. The difference between this fried chicken and other Korean Fried Chicken is that they use the larger chicken quarters with the thigh and drum stick. Where as other places mainly use wings The place is pretty small so I'm unsure if it'll fit a really big party but they do have a decent amount of seats. There was only one server but since there wasn't that many people, the service was pretty fast.

    Large building but narrow space

Bonchon is consistent where ever you go. We always get 30 wings half and half with soy garlic and spicy to share with the family. I find it odd that this building is so big, yet it was under some sort of construction that they blocked off the main entrance and had you enter through the patio. When you go inside, it was the tiniest narrow space, about 6 tables. Not what I expected for Bonchon. However, their wings are always crispy and flavorful.

This was a real chill place. Food is pretty good as well. We ordered the fried chicken in different flavors and we were not disappointed! I really liked the cashier, Liz, because she helped us with our ordering and answered a lot of our questions about the menu items.

Bonchon is one of the OG Korean fried chicken chains, and it's still as good as ever. This location was great. Service was attentive and the food came out hot, fresh, and right on time. They even had some beer specials during the day - a giant tall can of Sapporo for $6.95. My go to flavor is the yangmyeon, sweet, a little spicy but packed with flavor.

Crispy, savory, salty, sweet, spicy... these wings are delicious! Quick friendly service and a clean modern dining room ... what more can you ask for?

Wings are crisp delicious and flavorful. They also fare very well when reheating. Bonchon also has other meals which are delicious as well.

I placed a pick up order over the phone but ended up eating here bcs it wasn't busy. Kimchi was SPICY but delish the 3 piece meal special they have I asked for rice instead of fries and added kimchi.

Ask the Community - Bonchon South West Las Vegas

    Do they have outdoor seating?

The fried chicken looks so yummy but I really don't like garlic. Can anyone tell me if they can make the soy-garlic chicken without garlic? And is the spicy chicken garlic free? I know, I know garlic may be a staple but can't hurt to ask. Thanx!

You can order the wings plain. The garlic wings are wonderful but the plain wings would be a good choice for a non-garlic lover.

Are the wings breaded with wheat or rice flour?

    Rice flour

Is sesame oil used to fry the chicken?

Tastes like peanut oil to me

Is the chicken fried or seasoned with sesame oil? Update: let me rephrase that, is there any sesame…

It doesn't taste like sesame oil. You'd have to ask to be certain.

Why did they close in the first place?

I would guess the franchise shut them down for retraining because initially the food was terrible. I hope they can recover now that the food is way better than before. I can honestly say that the chicken wings are really good now that I've been…

Is bonchon chicken opening back up anytime?

    It is now open.

    Yes, is it re-opening?

    Bonchon LasVegas is now open.

UPDATE: I SEE ON THEIR STORE FRONT THAT THEY'RE OPENING SOON! What does this mean?! Is this for real?!?! Management, updates please!

Yes. Bonchon Las Vegas is now open. Come any try the new experience. Thanks.

Hey, y'all…read more Y'all... I guess I've been living under a rock because I'm just now finding out about Cheongdam Food Hall! Where have I been?! Anywhoddles I ordered from Eki Ramen, and when I tell y'all this ramen was RAMENING! Aka delicious. Aka... fire I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, and as you can see from the menu, it was only $12.95. I added an extra egg, extra pork belly, and extra black garlic oil because... why not? Anywhoddles with the extra "trimmings" it came to $18 dollars. Let's get back to the review Now lean in so I can tell y'all about this broth. It tasted authentic to me. It was rich, velvety, silky smooth, creamy without being heavy, and bursting with savory goodness. Every sip had me closing my eyes The noodles had the perfect bite--not too soft and not too firm. The pork belly was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of char around the edges. And those eggs? Whew! Perfectly jammy with that beautiful golden yolk. So... if you're a ramen lover--or if you've been thinking about trying ramen for the first time--I highly recommend giving Eki Ramen a try. And while you're there, take your time and explore Cheongdam Food Hall because there are plenty of other restaurants waiting to be discovered. Until next time... y'all already know what time it is! I'll be doing a boomerang back to this spot because there are way too many restaurants in this food hall for me to stop at just one!

The former Rite Aid pharmacy that once stood in its place has never looked better and features a cool curated mix of Japanese and Korean-inspired concepts. It's not a large food hall, but it's a good start. The current line up is: Smile Shota, Curry Ya, Namsan Tonkatsu, Market Green Table, Tiger Go Go, Downtoner Sandwich, and Broken Coffee. Market Green Table and Tiger Go Go managed to replace GT Poke and HoHo Crunch earlier this year, and thank goodness. Market Green Table has some of the most creative renditions of musubi and is my favorite of all that I've tried so far. Smile Shota is the most intriguing at the moment, which offers all you can eat sushi throughout the day and even has a late night AYCE special ($25 for now). If there is any knock on the place is that it's small enough to present some major challenges during their busiest times: crowd flow, seating, and especially parking. Peak times include lunch, weekends, and some weeknight dinner hours. Takeout is inevitable, but their least busy hour is usually between 2-4pm.

The three Shigoku oysters were great; the ones with uni and foie gras were sublime! I had a glass of 2024 Touraine Sauvignon Blanc with the oysters. The Truffle Prawn was out of this world! The large prawn was split and grilled with truffle butter. The meat was perfect, and I scooped all of the goodness from the shells and savored each bit. I wanted another order! The Truffle Bone Marrow included two bone halves, topped with sliced medium rare filet and seared foie gras. I can never have too much foie gras! The marrow was so unctuous and combined with the filet and a slice of foie gras, I was in food heaven! It's so decadent and insanely good. I had a glass of District 7 Pinot Noir with the meat. Alas, no room for dessert. If I did, I would have ordered another Truffle Prawn. I ended my meal with a cup of Illy coffee, then headed back to my hotel. Ah, what a meal! Superb from start to finish! The total came to $253.08, including a tip. Highly recommended! Rating: 4.75.

But I really enjoyed what they call spicy mayo and the salsa verde here. Both had unusually great flavors. The chicken kabob skewer was good but sort of plain. I think the big hit was the Pastrami Sando because the flavors really BANGED. WOW! Our server told us that a local butcher around the corner makes this pastrami. It is different. With a different texture and more powerful seasoning that pairs expertly well with the yuzu slaw and HOT honey mustard. This was certainly a 5 star sandwich.
