Bon Chon Chicken serves very tasty food, but just FYI if it's American southern fried chicken you're craving, you may not like it because it's almost a different thing entirely. We tried the French fries, which are very good and the fried rice which was just ok. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just not as flavorful as Chinese, Japanese, Thai or Filipino style rice. We also got the family size value meal of chicken wings and legs, half spicy, half sweet. They also included dipping sauce for extra flavor. The Sweet dipping sauce was VERY sweet. The hot dipping sauce was very spicy but it was also sweet. It wasn't off-the-charts hot, it was just pretty spicy and it gave the chicken a nice extra kick. The sweet sauce is kind of so-so. It's probably more suitable for young children. That said, even by itself the chicken is a lot messier than American fried chicken. I wouldn't recommend eating this on the go. You're definitely going to want to wash your hands before AND afterwards. I'll probably return sooner or later... I may even return to purchase a couple of dozen wings next time I need a last-minute appetizer, but this is not likely to become our go-to spot for wings or fried chicken (as we know them) because it's so different. It's chicken and it is fried so technically it is fried chicken but the flavor is so different from every other brand of fried chicken I've tried, it almost needs to be in its own category entirely. read more

I love the variety that they offer from the fried chickent to rice to potstickers so this is huge. This will cover a huge range of your cravings and worth the 3 stars. I would have given them 4 stars but a bit disappointed with their fried chicken as it was not as good as i thought it would/should have been. It was not very hot so I think we got a take out order that someone didn't pick up as it was served extremely fast. While we were eating a gentleman entered and I overheard the cashier stating that he placed the order a very long time ago which he repied saying that he just got stuck. He waited for a while for his order of fried chicken wings so I am guessing they gave us his order thinking he wasn't going to show up which is why our order was so quick and not a hot. Overall still enjoyed our visit and will be back to give them another chance. A very large, bright and clean restaurant so you know what you are biting into. I am honestly addicted to this place. Just to clear a few things up- they are open on Sunday's and they close at 9 Monday-Saturday. The chicken is delicious and so crispy. I get the soy garlic strips usually which is definitely enough for two people. The quality of the chicken is great. The house fried rice (I got it without meat) was delicious and very flavorful. To be honest, I was introduced to this place a week or two ago and I've been here multiple times per week. My mom got a green bubble tea without milk which was actually delicious. I do Uber Delivery sometimes, so I found this place while picking up food for a customer. But, MAN!!!! The smells in my car during that drive were incredibly invigorating. They serve other Korean dishes here like japchae, bibimbap, tteokbokki, dumplings, and more. They also have fresh coffee (I think it's unlimited? Unclear) and bubble tea. The only complaint I'd have is that the food takes a little long to prepare, but we could tell it was freshly made and very good quality. I usually go to the one in Leonia but since I was in the area, I stopped by. Service here was awesome. We wanted our food to be ready by the time we got there so we called it in, the girl on the phone was very nice and suggested for us to order a medium size wings instead of two small orders because it would be cheaper that way. We get there and I see the girl at the counter who I spoke with and greeted us with a smile which is a big plus for me since I'm all about good customer service and good food of course. I took off a star because each order of wings comes with a pickled korean radish. The location in Leonia gives you a lot (it's like in a small chinese soup take out container) but in this location, they give you so little of it(only comes in a small condiment container). One of my most favorite chicken wing recipes after my mom's home made baked wings is KFC - not Kentucky Fried Chicken, but rather KOREAN fried chicken...especially from BON CHON...there are two flavors soy garlic and spicy (hot and spicy, no joke if you can't handle it...get your drink ready, but still delicious) I don't know what their special technique is to cooking such perfect wings, or what ingredients they use to make such a tasty fried chicken dish...but it's totally addicting...I came here on a super bowl night and I think only large orders of wings were on the menu that day...the wings were literally flying through the door...if you've never had Korean fried chicken wings...I highly recommend trying Bon Chon's wings with rice, I especially like the Midland Park location, because they also have bubble tea!!! read more

One of the best fried chicken places I've tried! Their bulgogi is so delicious as well, I especially love it in the Bulgogi Wrap. I'd also recommend the Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) which is super flavorful and rich, and obviously, their chicken wings are a must. The fried chicken is perfectly crispy and juicy, not to mention the heavenly sauces. The only complaint I'd have is that the portions are on the smaller side given the prices, so order more than you usually would. read more

Great Bibimbap, the rice was perfect and the bulgogi was awesome; I love the raw egg, it cooks itself on the hot pot. **If you don't like that, then don't order it.** The fried chicken is remarkable, it has a unique crust that other fried wings do not have. We landed on this Korean fried chicken place in MP and we were dying of hunger; this was especially true for me after a night of partying. Once we got inside an ordered the first thing I noticed was how everything is overpriced, the chicken being the biggest crime since it was basic and mid af. We ordered that along with the Bull Dak but I can't even review that because THEY MESSED UP MY ORDER AN STILL CHARGED ME THE FULL $16 FOR IT EVEN THO THEY GAVE ME PLAIN FRIED RICE WHICH WAS $5 LESS. This place is a must try! I went with my party of 8 and luckily the place had lots of seating so we just put 2 tables together and had plenty of room. We started off with three appetizers: fries, dumplings, and shumai. The fries were beyond amazing! Perfect size, perfectly fried. The dumplings were delicious, they had a nice crunch but the insides were nice & flavorful. The shumai was also nicely cooked, but something about the sauce threw me off, but still good. Then came the wings. Oh my were they CRISPY. They were so good and so satisfying. We order 2 large combo half and half boxes and we only had like 7 left over. My party was more a fan of just the wings over the drumsticks based on skin to meat ratio, so next time I'm going to avoid the drumsticks cause they were way too meaty (which is a good thing for others) but I like wings generally so definitely going to stick to that next time. Not to mention, this place was nice & clean too, the bathroom was cleaner than certain peoples houses I've been too. We then got the bubble tea, and it was okay. The flavor of the bubble teas were amazing, but the tapioca balls were FAR from fresh. So maybe get the bubble tea minus the tapioca balls cause they were hard and not fresh, but the flavor of the bubble tea was good. Definitely try this place out. read more

I walked into this Korean chicken wing joint. The place was nice and clean and spacious. There's a parking lot to the right of the restaurant. I ordered the small chicken combo, which came with 6 wings and 3 drum sticks. I picked the soy garlic flavor. It comes with pickled radish on the side. At first, the seasoning on the wings were a little bit overwhelming. The wings were tasty but it was slightly oily when I bit into the chicken. The radish gave a fresh aftertaste to take away the chicken taste. Overall it was a great choice besides the fact about the oiliness of the wings.
