Despite the not so good reviews I went here anyway since I saw it on TikTok. I just ordered a lunch special, an extra appetizer with extra side. Boneless soy garlic? I'll admit it was good, I didn't see or notice any issues with anything I ordered. My only possible critique lies with the chicken portions and sides being....sort of small? Like I'm unsure if it was just me, were the sizes smaller than expected? Likewise the menu itself is wide and diverse as I intend to come here again another time to taste the other items

Service was great, one younger woman running the show. Very attentive. Restaurant is pretty largely sized. Chicken was delicious we got soy garlic & the traditional korean flavor. would definitely come back!

My friends and I decided to have a late lunch here, which didn't disappoint. Service was excellent and the space was clean. We ordered the Seoul Sampler and 10 pieces of wings (Soy Garlic) shared between 3 people. The sampler included 2 drums, 4 wings, Bulgogi Fries, Pork Potstickers, Korean Street Corn and Coleslaw. They had this new flavor korean BBQ and chose spicy mayo as the dipping sauce. Indeed it was worth trying as everything was crispy and flavorful.

First time trying this place it was empty as it was a Monday so we were served very quickly. Clean dine in location and it looks like it could be a fun hangout spot! Bulgogi fries were chefs kiss! I loved how crispy they were . It was a big enough portion to eat on your own as a main, or share! We got boneless chicken in yangnyeom and Korean bbq both flavors were amazing! Chicken was kind of hard/ dry and some were hollowish? In the middle but I didn't mind it because the flavor made up for it, plus I expected drier chicken since it was boneless. Next time I will get bone in! I can see myself coming back here and bringing friends to try more things off the menu, i had trouble deciding what to get in the first place because it all looked so good on the menu! Love this place!!!

My cousins and I came here on a Friday night and had really good food and really great service. Between the 5 of us we shared Tteokbokki, Bulgogi fries, and the medium mixed order of chicken and it was more than enough for us. The two staff were very attention to us and were so sweet. The ambiance is casual - where you can eat solo, date night, or groups

Watching too much KDrama made me crave for some chicken. This is my first time ordering via DoorDash and the food did not disappoint. The chicken was still hot when I got it and the side dishes are yummy. My kids love it as well. We will definitely try to stop by the Newark location when we get the chance!

The Husband was tasked with picking a restaurant tonight 11/20/24, and chose Spicy Kitchen (he…read morechose it only because he said that it had a rating of 4.8). When I choose a restaurant, I read other reviewers' comments and their recommendations, then I look at the restaurant's menu online as to what else is offered. I can't do spicy, but because I'm a trooper I made the best of a difficult situation. I chose the following two dishes that sounded "safe": Spring Onion Protected Beef, and Yu Xiang Braised Eggplant. Also, you can't have Asian dishes without the requisite bowls of rice (I ordered a bowl each for us in lieu of ordering a fried rice or fried noodle dish). The Spring Onion Protected Beef was flavorful and delicious, and came with lots of sliced white onions and 1-inch pieces of spring onions (looks like green onions). This was right up my alley because I looove onions (red/white) and spring/green onions. The Yu Xiang Braised Eggplant was ABSOLUTELY divine. It kinda reminded me of eggplant in garlic sauce that you'd get in other Asian restaurants, but much tastier. Make no mistake, this dish came with TWICE the amount of eggplant that you'd receive in other Asian restaurants. It was a good thing I didn't order a third entree because these 2 dishes were just the right amount for 2 people - otherwise, a wheelbarrow would've been needed to wheel me home! When the bill came, I noticed that the eggplant dish was called "Fish-flavored Eggplant". I thought that that was a mistake because the eggplant did not taste fishy or have any fish taste at all. Later on at home I compared the Chinese characters on the bill/receipt to the Chinese characters on the paper menu I asked our server for (to take home), and the dish is correct. So keep in mind that if you're vegan, this eggplant dish does have some kind of a fish ingredient in it. The great thing about this restaurant is that its cuisine is VERY flavorful in comparison to Cantonese cuisine. The only drawback is that unless you speak Mandarin and/or can read and understand the Chinese characters (with English directly below the Chinese characters) on the menu, you'd be clueless as to what most of the dishes are. This is because there is absolutely no description for each of the dishes. For instance, there's a dish called "Millionaire" - I have NO idea if it was a meat or vegetable dish (or for that matter what kind of meat or what kind of vegetable). But if you're the daring and adventurous type, go for it!!! Let it be a wonderful surprise - or let it be a stupendous letdown for you haha. The restaurant was very clean and well-lit, and our server (attractive young man with glasses) was awesome. If you're in the mood for Chinese but are tired of the same-old, same-old Cantonese dishes, come here and treat your taste buds to a glorious adventure - because the dishes are flavorFULL - yes, emphasis on the FULL! In the end, I'm glad I came here and will come back to try other dishes!!! Advice for the restaurant when updating your menu in the future: It would help your customers to: 1) give descriptions as to what each dish is, or the ingredients involved in each dish, 2) separate the dishes into categories - for example: cold dishes, chicken dishes, beef dishes, pork dishes, lamb dishes, seafood dishes, dry pot dishes, house special dishes, fried rice/noodles dishes, soup dishes, other dishes (such as frog, intestine, duck blood, kidney, lung) and lastly, 3) pictures of the dishes (this is especially important). Regardless, based on my experience tonight, this restaurant rates a 5 out of 5 stars

We'd been to Milk & Honey a few times for their prepared bento takeout, but this was our first time dining in. We ordered the salt & pepper mushrooms, stir-fried string beans, garlic eggplant, Sichuan chicken, minced pork over rice, a combo noodle dish, and of course, the fermented stinky tofu. Everything was delicious and when you can satisfy a craving...everything just hits different What really made the meal memorable though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, checking in on every table throughout the evening. At one point, she noticed our minced pork rice looked a little light on the gravy (something we hadn't even noticed ourselves). Without us saying a word, she headed back to the kitchen and returned with an extra serving of the pork topping to make sure it was just right. As the dinner rush slowed, she spent time chatting with us about our recent trip to Taiwan, sharing stories about Taiwanese food and what makes the cuisine so special. By the end of the meal, it didn't feel like we were dining at a restaurant--it felt like we were having dinner at an auntie's house, enjoying great food and even better conversation. Great food is easy to appreciate. Genuine hospitality is much harder to find. Milk & Honey gave us both, and we'll definitely be back (and look forward to dine in more often)

Their house special spicy beef soup is so comforting to have and the salt and pepper king mushroom is a must order dish! Some of dishes like the fried rice and meat stir fries (such as cumin lamb) do have a bit too much salt, but otherwise they taste amazing. They have a boba bar on the side with such flavorful and refreshing drinks. I typically order the rose green tea with grass jelly; it has such an authentic rose flavor with strong tea that I rarely taste in most boba places. The restaurant can get very busy on the weekends, and sometimes it isn't as clean during these times, but it's still a great place to go. The staff is very friendly and understanding, even during the most rush hour of the day. Cozy and family friendly, the interior adds to the authentic and comforting experience here. For all you can eat it is honestly the best of all the options in my opinion. Cleanliness 11/10: The cleanliness of this place is unmatched by any AYCE restaurant I've eaten at. I had to include a picture of the sauce bar because it is really surprising how there is no splattering around the table. Every surface including the sauce bar and other bars were pristine. AYCE options 10/10: The meat choices are beef, lamb, and chicken. The cuts are a bit lean, but honestly I like that better for ayce since it is a bit cleaner tasting and leaves less oil in the broth. They serve the meats in neat labeled trays which I really like. Wide range of vegetable and other hotpot options that are all ayce, notably king oyster mushroom slices, wood ear mushroom, white fish, beancurd skins, large leaf spinach, bomchoy, a variety of noodles. They also have soft serve ice cream and other deserts and fruit. Sauce bar has a good variety. It has all the options you might find at a place like haidilao. The soy and vinegar are on a separate table in drink dispensers, you might miss it. I recommend for people who are not experienced with hot pot to do a 3:1 ratio of soy sauce and vinegar with a squeeze of lemon as well as some chili, cilantro, green onion, and garlic. The sesame dressing is great on its own with vegetables. Broth 9/10: I recommend spicy or mushroom broth. It is similar to what you would get at a place like haidilao but much less oily, it is still quite spicy and a good amount of oil.
