Stopped in for early dinner before a movie for the first time; thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the service was great. Our fried chicken order was 1/2 & 1/2 (hubs likes spicy) and absolutely some of the best fried chicken we have eaten. He really liked his spicy chicken bibimbap too (and it was spicy!). The zucchini fries were ok but batter was a little thick; next time we'll take the Korean tacos. This rating is reflective of their Customer Service - not their food. We ordered through the app, as we do almost once a week and I received a confirmation email from Bonchon saying the ordered had been received. I then logged in to my account to check the status and it said the order time was 8:35 (the time was only 8:16) and it said delivery would be 1:00am. I called the store and they said they would not receive the order until 8:25 because it was placed for pick-up. I explained that I had the email confirming and it said delivery. No apologies, nothing to try to accommodate just kept saying he couldn't see the order until 8:25. I stayed on the phone with him and when the order came through - he said it was cancelled. I had him send me a copy of the cancellation so I could get my money back when I was charged. About two minutes later - I received a text from DoorDash stating they were on the way to pick up my order. I sent this to the store manager who still made no offer to even make the order - just said they never received it. Then I received a text asking how I placed the order...sent a copy of the email confirmation from the store, the text saying it was being picked ups and that I ordered through their website. Received a message back that just says "We didn't make it". Absolutely no apologies, nothing to even try to make it right. Very disappointing considering this has been or "go to" place for a couple of years. read more

It was my first time trying this place and I did an online order. I opted for curbside pickup and nobody came out during my pickup time. I parked right next to the store. I called twice and the line was busy. I ended up going inside. I was not greeted and I told the host that I had a curbside order and all he did was ask my name and gave me the bag. Then he turned away and did not say anything else. I felt very unwelcomed. I was excited to try the food here, but I will never eat here again, which is unfortunate because the fried rice wasn't bad. That's the only reason why I gave two stars, but the staff and curbside system were so offputting that I cannot rate this location any higher. read more

Bonchon needs to lower their price especially if they're too skimpy on your main dishes. Asian food generally gives a lot of fried rice and noodles for a lot less! I've been here 5 times. The first time was great. Ever since, the experience lessened each time. They don't treat customers well. They don't inform you that they no longer serve chicken strips and give you chicken nuggets even though you pay more for strips. Nothing about their wait time makes any sense. What a wonderful surprise! This is as close to authentic Korean food as you could hope for locally. We love getting food from BonChon but tonight we tried to order 60 strips but some how we got wings. We called back and the staff member was arguing with us on what we ordered. When you spend over 128 dollars and leave a 10 tip on a take out order, I expected the staff to be more customer friendly. They called back to offer a 10% discount on our next order and I feel like that is the quickest way to lose a customer. The one at the Saint John's Town Center has top notch customer service. I am not saying to avoid eating here but if something goes wrong, don't expect the restaurant to make it right. read more
