Frustrated. Was planning on dinner after a movie, got there over 1/2 hour before their posted closing time. When we walked in all the staff was sitting down on their phones. They looked at me confused, "what a party of 7 wants to spend money here?" seemed to be the general impression. No greeting, no hello, just blank looks. Finally I asked if they were open, and was told no we closed early. I've eaten at Bonchons, in different cities and was excited. I get changing hours due to COVID but update your sign, lock your door or at least greet your customers and apologize that you closed early. Service like this and you may close for good. read more

Family of four dined in, afternoon. Ordered coke, got sprite, wife ordered tea, got water. Last meal was 15 minutes after the rest of them (no customization on last plate). Unflexible with putting spicy sauces on the side (for small children), was told they were concentrated and can't put on side. Not much to choose from for smaller children. Place was clean and staff was friendly, hopefully a one off but this experience was not good. read more

I have ordered several times from here for pick up, when you get there the older Asian guy is horribly rude! I stated I was there for pick up , he never looked up at me, it was $55 for two items so I asked to see the receipt , he got really angry and basically tossed the receipt towards me. I just paid it. i asked for chop sticks, he seemed very upset for whatever reason. I do not think I will order again from here. The food and service was excellent. I got the Korean BBQ spicy and the seafood fried rice. Being a fan of Korean Fried Chicken since my New Jersey days, I was excited to stop by and try Bonchon. For $29 you get a combo of 10 wing dings and 5 drums. The prices here are ridiculous. I definitely patronize, because we need Bonchon at Durbin Park, but we literally walked away spending over $100 feeling unfulfilled. Fountain drinks are $3 as well. This was our first time eating at Bonchon and everything was excellent! We had the wings, coleslaw and fried rice. The wings were super yummy and we really enjoyed the fried rice. The coleslaw was basic but it helped cool off the mouth after a spicy bite of chicken. This location opened a week ago but there were no issues with service or food that often comes with a newly opened restaurant. We will be back. No outdoor seating yet, but there is a place for it. Food is usually pretty decent despite pretty overpriced for what you get. Ordered about $40 dollars worth of different types of chicken a few weeks ago. When I went to pick it up I asked the waiter who grabbed my food if I could get a two sides of ranch. They said sure and walked back and grabbed them, then came back and started ringing me out. I quickly proclaimed I ordered on the website and had already paid, when they exclaimed oh, no, it'll be $5.00 for the two sides of ranch. That's when I knew this would be the last time I ate here, and it has been. I was happy to pay for overpriced chicken, I'm not going to be charged another 5 for sides of ranch. Food is decent for fast food Korean. The guy working the cash register out front needs to learn some manners, I think he's the manager. I've tried to over look it the past few times but now refuse to eat there because of his attitude. Last time I ordered take out, I arrived to pickup my order and he was there, didn't even greet me or even say hello. I stood there for a second and I said "I'm Troy here for a carry out," he looks down to the cash register hands me a receipt and I pay for the food. We ordered delivery on doordash from this new location & it was my 1st time trying their menu. I have to say the soy garlic chicken wings were incredible!! It was like a tempura batter with a lot of flavor & I would definitely order it again...the Taoyaki octopus appetizer was delicious but arrived lukewarm and the Japchae was good but kinda bland which is fine for me ( I don't eat spicy) but others might be more disappointed. I will say their prices are very high! Chicken wings were $16... I had a coupon or I probably would not have ordered delivery. Anyway I look forward to ordering take out sometime soon. read more

I think I just had higher expectations because I've tried the Bonchon at town center. I think they're known for their chicken and I get it every time but the wings and drums definitely got smaller and the quality is not there. The first time I had bonchon was at the town center location and I remember biting into these large wings and it was super juicy. I did not get that here, the chicken was kinda dry and definitely not my definition of Korean fried chicken. read more

Service of the waiter was great, but had the whole place to himself. Was very disappointed that when we entered, we were told that we couldn't bring drinks from the outside in. When I looked the menu up online based on the specific store the menu didn't match what was actually available in the restaurant. Was looking for vegetable potstickers and none were available. Pricing was rather high and lunch options were practically non existent. They need to stick with counter service rather than wait staff. There was only one guy serving the whole place. I ordered Bonchon for lunch via DoorDash. It was delivered timely and accurately. However the food itself was incredibly boring. Chicken strips with both soy garlic and sweet sauce was bland, I could barely taste any sauce let alone decipher which was which. Seasoned fries were hardly seasoned and soggy. read more
