Passing through Jacksonville. Staying overnight on our way to South Carolina. Looking for a dinner spot on a Sunday, on a mostly deserted area. We found this little gem of a Thai restaurant near our hotel. The restaurant is located in a business area. It is small, but the service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. We started with vegetable spring roll. These were crispy, full of veggies and noodles. The Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp, was flavorful and hot. We ordered the Thai sweet and sour chicken, full of veggies and pineapples. Well balance flavors of savory and sweetness. We also ordered the chicken eggplant, full of veggies in a light brown sauce. All served with jasmine rice. The only thing I would improved is the rice, it could be a little firmer for my taste. We left satisfied by a delicious meal in a small shopping center, surrounded by a Starbucks, and a Whataburger. When in Jax this little gem is a must. read more

Great find, adding it to my lunch rotation. My son and I wanted good Thai food (it was his day off) so we drove here the 10 minutes from my office. I must have driven by it 100 times, but never noticed it. Well I notice it now. Service was outstanding as soon as we waked I the door. The dining room is small, more intimate, and clean as can be, but for me, having a happy waitress who seemed excited for us to be there, made a huge difference in our dining experience. But you really want to hear about the food: Sweet chili sauce - homemade, delightful. Spring rolls - tightly wrapped, very tasty. Pad Thai - AMAZING, served with peanut sauce and completely delicious. Massaman Curry - served with chicken, really well done dish. Was there a complaint, well for lunch it was a bit pricey. I prefer lunch specials, but I cannot argue the food was very good. read more

Stopped by while driving through town. Cute place with a decent amount of seating, good service, and kind people. All the food was amazing, would've have liked for a bit more shrimp in the rolls- but the flavor of everything made up for that. Great prices, and quick service! read more

Had my order as takeaway and didn't realize I wasn't given any utensils until I sat down to eat. May have been a minor oversight on the restaurant's part and not common practice but couldn't in good conscience give five stars. Food was good but I did find that the Pad Thai to have more of a sweeter finish than I typically enjoy. Priced well. read more

Got 5 lunch entrees - it was just meh. Ordered 3 of the 5 dishes "Thai hot" but only one (the pad Thai of all things) had any kind of flavor or spice at all. Even my 10 year old daughter, who likes spice but not super hot like we do, said hers had zero flavor (she ordered hers medium for reference). It tasted like plain rice. Pretty disappointed with the lack of spice in all the dishes, but the staff was friendly and portions are decent for the price. This was our second time giving them a try but unfortunately we won't be back. When I say I want it hot, I at least want something beyond what I would call "mild" fried rice at best. read more

Love this little gem! Wish I had taken pictures! Next time. Cute little restaurant with simple tables and decor.... A large mural. Service was quick and attentive. Our server was so kind and joyful! I ordered Thai Basil Chicken, my favorite at Thai restaurants. Had the medium spice which was perfect for me, enough of a kick to make my nose run but not so much that it lost the flavor of the meal. Chicken was very tender and the sauce is so delicious with lots of fresh Thai basil. My hubby ordered the pineapple fried rice. A huge serving! Lots of pineapple and some raisins too. Has a very mild light curry spice taste to it. Really good! We wanted to have a Thai iced tea but always feel as though it's a bit too sweet for us. So we asked our server if she could make it with less sugar in it. She knew exactly what we needed because she too likes it less sugary. It was the best Thai tea that we've had! She offered to make one for us so that we could taste it and then decide as to whether or not we wanted it. Service here reminded us of our time in Okinawa. This is my first time here as a total Thai lover, and I'll definitely be back. I've dined at a few other spots locally, all of which are either overpriced, small portioned, or have some weird spin on Thai basil stir fry. Not here. I got the Eggplant Basil stir fry, which was amazing! Tom Yum Soup was the perfect ratio of sweet/sour, veggies, and shrimp. Family run, great food. I am super happy that this place opened up near my house because we needed a good Thai option. I would recommend coming here for lunch because they have great specials that come with a spring roll. I've been three times now and the food is consistently good. I've had massaman curry, basil fried rice, and drunken noodles. All were great and they have vegan/vegetarian options, most of which are labeled on the menu. read more

Had a chance to try Bancock Thai a small quaint place with limited seating ordered the beef pad prik which was tasty but the beef was a little dry and tough we also tryed the chicken fried rice which was plentiful and tasty and lastly had to try the traditional pad thai and lets not forget the pork fried rolls they were good and seasoned well overall good but nothing stood out. read more

Absolutely disgusting, this is beyond gross. The Pad Thai tasted like leftover food. I think they dumped their waste from the trash, in a bowl and served it. No one could call this good Thai. It's beyond bad. I really was expecting a decent plate of food because the coconut soup was ok. Not great but not bad. It was a little salty for my taste that's kind of how many people like it. The basil rolls were pretty good, I had the veggie ones. But the pad Thai was beyond, beyond disgusting. Like when your mother in law cooks her special, and you wonder how your husband is still amongst us. Any way, same here if you like bad food, ok. If you like good food don't eat here. I was excited to find a new Thai place near my office when I can pick up some dinner before heading home. I saw Bangkok Thai online and decided to place an order. I ordered the crab rangoon and the Bangkok pad Thai. The crab rangoon were fantastic! You can taste the crab in it without it being fishy or overpowering and there is a nice amount of curry for some added flavor which I appreciate! The pad Thai was very good. I ordered it without a couple things and a medium spice level. It was made perfectly! The spice was great. Not too hot, not super mild and the leftovers had a bit more flavor the next day. Very good. My only critique would be the chicken. It was a pressed and formed chicken on top. I would have preferred a grilled chicken but it was okay. Just didn't really match up with the flavor and texture of the noodles. There was a pleasant surprise in a peanut sauce that came with the pad Thai on the side. It was good and I ended up just dipping the chicken into that and eating it on its own. The restaurant is very cute inside the and the service was good. I would absolutely return! read more

I ordered through UberEats, then decided to pick it up and check the place out, since it's new. Small, clean, quiet, and really cute inside! Very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered tofu pad see ew, fried spring rolls, and fresh spring rolls. The pad see ew is a hefty serving so I have leftovers. They actually listened to my request and made it Thai hot! The whole meal was honestly perfect and full of flavor. No lack of umami, like a previous reviewer mentioned, so maybe they worked out some kinks. The flavors were bland, the noodles were overcooked and soggy, and the dish lacked the balance and bold taste I usually associate with Thai cuisine.
