    Sweet and Sour Chicken
    Maggie A.

Passing through Jacksonville. Staying overnight on our way to South Carolina. Looking for a dinner spot on a Sunday, on a mostly deserted area. We found this little gem of a Thai restaurant near our hotel. The restaurant is located in a business area. It is small, but the service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. We started with vegetable spring roll. These were crispy, full of veggies and noodles. The Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp, was flavorful and hot. We ordered the Thai sweet and sour chicken, full of veggies and pineapples. Well balance flavors of savory and sweetness. We also ordered the chicken eggplant, full of veggies in a light brown sauce. All served with jasmine rice. The only thing I would improved is the rice, it could be a little firmer for my taste. We left satisfied by a delicious meal in a small shopping center, surrounded by a Starbucks, and a Whataburger. When in Jax this little gem is a must.

Great find, adding it to my lunch rotation. My son and I wanted good Thai food (it was his day off) so we drove here the 10 minutes from my office. I must have driven by it 100 times, but never noticed it. Well I notice it now. Service was outstanding as soon as we waked I the door. The dining room is small, more intimate, and clean as can be, but for me, having a happy waitress who seemed excited for us to be there, made a huge difference in our dining experience. But you really want to hear about the food: Sweet chili sauce - homemade, delightful. Spring rolls - tightly wrapped, very tasty. Pad Thai - AMAZING, served with peanut sauce and completely delicious. Massaman Curry - served with chicken, really well done dish. Was there a complaint, well for lunch it was a bit pricey. I prefer lunch specials, but I cannot argue the food was very good.

Stopped by while driving through town. Cute place with a decent amount of seating, good service, and kind people. All the food was amazing, would've have liked for a bit more shrimp in the rolls- but the flavor of everything made up for that. Great prices, and quick service!

Had my order as takeaway and didn't realize I wasn't given any utensils until I sat down to eat. May have been a minor oversight on the restaurant's part and not common practice but couldn't in good conscience give five stars. Food was good but I did find that the Pad Thai to have more of a sweeter finish than I typically enjoy. Priced well.

This is my first time here as a total Thai lover, and I'll definitely be back. I've dined at a few other spots locally, all of which are either overpriced, small portioned, or have some weird spin on Thai basil stir fry. Not here. I got the Eggplant Basil stir fry, which was amazing! Tom Yum Soup was the perfect ratio of sweet/sour, veggies, and shrimp. Family run, great food. I'm super happy to have stopped by this place.

Our favorite thai spot. Authentic flavors and great selection of dishes. Service is quick and friendly. The location is pretty small and since it is gaining popularity I would not be surprised if they moved to a bigger place in the future. Totally recommend!

Nice restaurant and with good service and a pricey menu. The food was missing a umami taste across the board. The curry and Dipping sauce for the Roti was watery and missing the distinctive curry and coconut milk flavors. We had the Pineapple Fried Rice and like other dishes just bland. Too bad

I can honestly say with all the times I have been there and it's more than I can count, never have. I had a bad meal! The food is always the freshest and it's always served piping hot. Their vegetables are just crunchy enough to know they're fresh but still have their flavor. Their portions are ginormous. You definitely get your moneys worth with the highest quality dinner or lunch you could ever ask. The service beyond stellar! Because I go there so much and they know me so well I don't even have to tell them what I want to drink they bring it automatically. They truly treat their customers like family and that's a rarity these days! They truly care about their customers and they remember who they are. I listened to them with other tables and they take just as an active interest in them as they do Me. That's the sign of quality. I love the ambience because they always have fresh flowers and they're always dust free. So many times you'll go into places in the plants have dust on them not here. Someone truly takes care of the greenery and it is green! It's also very interesting to watch the TV screens as they do demonstrations of various Thai food preparation. I've been to numerous Thai places in Jacksonville. None can hold a candle to this one. Moreover, when I lived on the West Coast in California and I went to some fantastic Thai restaurants, they don't compare to this one! You can never go wrong here.

So I would definitely go for level 2 if I'm just trying to have a chill meal. The panang curry and the phad see ew were both really good, but my favorite dish we got had to be the spring rolls. The décor was nice and there was a decent amount of seating available, enough to accommodate our group of 10 and another large group at the table next to ours. It looked like people came here with their families for special occasions. There was only one person working to cover everything from seating, take out, serving, etc., and he did an amazing job of staying on top of everything. He even took the time to explain to me that they recently decided to make their entire menu (save for the fried items) gluten free due to many requests they'd received from their customers. It was so nice to eat at a place that was so considerate! Their menu is definitely more fusion than authentic. I asked the server for a recommendation and he told me his favorite is the Curry Fried Rice, but it was a big portion, so I opted for his second favorite, the Drunken Noodles. I asked about the spice levels and asked for mine to be more spicy. It wasn't as spicy as I hoped, so I asked for a spice tray and added several spoonfuls of various chili flakes and peppers. My colleagues got the yellow curry and said it was basically flavorless, but they liked their Drunken Noodles. I'm thankful to have the gluten free option, but I was missing the essence of the classic/authentic flavor. Overall, the décor, ambience, and service was great, but the food was just okay.
