i love bonchon and i eat here a lot but i got the soy garlic strips and there was barely any sauce on them and so i asked for a side of sauce and was willing to pay for it when the cashier said that it might cost a couple dollars, but then they asked their colleague who said they cannot give sauce. really would like to be able to either purchase sauce or have sauce atleast covering the strips without so many dry patches. if i wanted that id go to mcdonalds but im here for the sauce!!! $1.50 sauce cup 2025! would also be a great addition to rice dishes :) read more

KFC, Chicken Fil A and Popeye's eat your heart out. Korean fried chicken is the BEST fried chicken ever! I've been waiting for Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken to finally open, I was not disappointed. Their chicken is crispy, but not oily or soggy like most American fried chicken usually is. You can order from strips, wings, drumsticks, boneless or get a combo. Their sauce for their chicken are soy garlic and spicy. If you can't just choose one sauce, you can get half and half. You can pick your own dipping sauce too. The staff are attentive and caring towards the customers. Their prices aren't bad either. If you're not in the mood for fried chicken, Bonchon also offers potstickers, Bulgogi fries, Takoyaki, Shrimp Shumai, sliders, Pork Buns, Korean Tacos, Popcorn Shrimp, Chicken Katsu, Bulgogi, Tteokbokki, Japchae, Fried Rice, Bimibap, Buldak, wraps, salad and Udon Noodle Soup. I believe everything they make is homemade. You can get whatever sides you want with your chicken. I chose the steamed white. The rice was soft and fluffy, the way rice should be. Though, getting a table is hard, since Bonchon is so compact on the inside. Not ideal for large family gatherings. Bonchon is also located on a corner of the strip, so they're hard to find and parking is difficult. They have fierce competition with Chipotle and a Pho house that are also on the same shopping strip. I am one satisfied customer. Next time I'm going to try Bonchon's Bibimbap, Buldak, Bulgogi, Chicken Katsu, Tteokbokki, Korean Street Tacos, Pork Buns, Mochi and Korean Donuts. NOT all at once! read more

I ordered a combo with 2 drums and 6 wings but received what appeared to me as 6 drums and 2 wings. Imo wings are flats and drums are drums but when I asked them if they made a mistake they said no the little drums are considered wings.. found that annoying as a flats lover but whatever. The yangyum sauce on the wings was great and the pickled radish was the perfect addition to the meal adding a nice pallet cleanser. The space is clean but small, probably would recommend takeout orders more that dine-in. I most likely will have it again with more clarity on the fact that I want 6 flats and not 2 flats and 4 little drumsticks. read more

I ordered the YumDrum Trio meal with the spicy bbq sauce and really enjoyed it. The sauce has a very spicy kick that I loved, and a good flavor overall. The chicken legs were a good size. The fries were good. It came with a Korean donut & dipping sauce, and the donut was so yummy. The dipping sauce is condensed milk. It's good with or without the condensed milk. My parents both got the fried rice but they didn't enjoy their fried rice as much as I enjoyed the YumDrum trio, so maybe skip that. But overall it was a great experience for me. Not worth the $$. We've had Bonchon in other locations, and it was great. Thick crispy chicken that made it worth your time and money. Not this location. I took myself on a date Friday night and glad I did. I got my Korean street corn which is a mix of sweet and spicy flavors. I loved the scallions in it. Corn could have been fresher, but still delish. I also got 8 pc wings half spicy and half yangyeom. The spicy was my favorite it was so spicy and flavorful. This place advertises double fried crispy chicken so we were expecting like General Tsos extra crispy chicken but what we got was soggy chicken strips with super sweet sauce. I was SO excited when I saw that Bonchon opened up down the street! I first had bonchon yeeaars ago in Los Angeles, and it was the most giant crispiest chicken I'd ever seen. I've been a consistent regular of the Pearland location for 4+ years also often making that trip every other week to grab some. I've ordered wings twice from this location enough to say, it's not the same. The chicken is just your average sized chicken. Not the giant drums and wings that Bonchon is known for. Each time I had more flats than the 2 drums and again, bonchon is known for those giant crispy drumsticks. I hope yall invest more into your food quality because I really really want this to be my spot, I'm tired of making that long drive to Pearland read more

Where do I start? As someone who is an avid patron of Bon Chon in Midtown and Pearland/Sugarland, I was ecstatic to hear we were getting our very own here in Webster (on Bay Area Blvd). However, it's now less-than a fluke that this location is a far cry from its Namesake. While the location was pristine in appearance, the staff are friendly (enough), the wait time was atrocious. Yet again, I experienced a fairly long wait for soggy chicken and subpar coleslaw. The joy of Korean fried chicken IS the extreme crunchiness, of which there was none. The Grand Opening was FIRST and LAST time the food was good at this location. I won't be wasting not another dollar here. I'd rather take the 30 minute drive for the consistency alone. read more

the flavors were good (i got soy garlic, spicy, and the new flavor yangyeum?) but disappointed in the chicken strip. it is 1/4th of what the size used to be (compared to other locations)... however, not sure if that is the case across all locations where the strips were tremendously smaller compared to previous times that i have tried. (would have been two stars but left it as 3 just in case the whole franchise is the one who decided upon that) but i was just sad!!!! (can be seen in another reviewers pics.)
