    Spider webs in our booth
    Malyiah H.

The food was good but everything that we ordered was missing something. For example, we had to ask for cheese for our salads and I ordered corn bread with my dinner and didn't get that until after we got the check cause she forgot about it. The lady was nice, but we were the only people in the place and were missing things and almost never saw her. Not to mention there were spider webs next to our seats. The place is nice but at the original is awesome!! The food, service, and ambiance is all fantastic over there!

I've been to both Bone Heads locations and this one is totally different as far as atmosphere. This location is updated and very modern yet casual. Whereas the Willis location is a little outdated and very homey like. I came here for lunch and they were very busy with dine-in and carry out. There was one waitress for the whole place and she was busting butt! I was seriously impressed with her ability to balance everything going on. There isn't a lot of seating here so I could see there being a wait time at busy periods. I ordered the pulled pork dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and baked beans. The pulled pork was really good - tender and flavorful. I enjoyed adding their bbq sauces on it. The potatoes and beans were both just all right. I wouldn't order those again. I did really enjoy the corn muffin though and was awfully tempted to order more. Of the two locations, Willis is closer so I would go there first. I really enjoy their meats so I will be back. Just gotta find some sides I really enjoy.

I had been to the Willis location before and was glad there's a closer spot. I went with a friend for lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich lunch. It came with coleslaw which personally didn't agree with me but sweet potato fries can be substituted for an extra charge. I will try those next visit. My friend had the dinner and she chose baked beans and cornbread as her sides. It looked great also. The waitress was friendly and the seating area is fun and casual. I like the Coke freestyle machine also.

Great new BBQ joint in Saline but not new to the area. We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night - they have dine in or carry out. We dined in. The place was clean and nice. Great classic rock music in the background. I chose the BBQ combo and my hubby the ribs. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and juicy with a nice Smokey flavor. My sampler - yum. The smoke was present in all. The chicken juicy, all the rest very flavorful. Our waitress was so nice. We'll be back!

BBQ was good Pulled chicken, Brisket and pulled Pork . Dine in or carry out. Side BBQ Beans, Collard Greens and Coleslaws were all good. Only thing it would be nice to sit down and be waited on. For the $$

Meat is NOT barbecued or smoked. More like baked in the oven and covered in not very good sauce. Dry brisket. Corn muffins are good though.

After paying we took a seat and waited a few minutes for the food to arrive. When it came out we were given a choice of sauces and we elected to try a couple. Now for the reason we went. The brisket was tender, moist , and well smoked. They use a dry rub on both the brisket and the pork and it works well for both meats we tried. The ribs were also tender and tasty and done just the way I like them-bite off the bone. Ribs are overcooked in my opinion when they "fall off the bone" because they aren't ribs at that point! Being from Texas, we complemented them before we left and even gave another customer a quick opinion of how good the barbecue was. You may note that I'm not reviewing any sides because if the meat is as good as this was you don't need any sides. Their sauce is good, not too sweet and they have a sweeter option as well as a hot (habanero) sauce that is also good. If you need a good barbecue fix and you are in Ann Arbor you can't go wrong with Satchel's.

The server rightfully warned about the spice LEVEL. Dare you to order spicy level. Medium was super good and tasty but as expected, it was spicy but perfect with the potato chips. First, happy hour is awesome: 4-5pm + last hour (so 8-9pm Sun-Wed and 9-10pm Thursday thru Saturday). It's half off: draft beers, sangria, starters, house cocktails and wines. Also, I stand by the opinion that DropTop is the BEST Detroit style pizza right now. However, their burgers are also FIRE - that olive burger? YUM! I also am happy to share that the little details from opening - like cold frosty glasses, cold plates for salad, from scratch dressings/sauces, etc. is still on-going which truly makes a difference to the overall experience. Service is always super friendly, helpful.

The burgers are easily the standout!! juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shakes are AMAZING, and the pizza is different and big size, making it great for sharing. The fries are another win: crispy, well‑seasoned, and addictive. The environment is nice and cozy, which adds to the charm, though I do wish they had more tables. That said, they've optimized the experience by offering a separate pickup door, which makes takeout incredibly smooth and efficient... a smart move for a small business. What really elevates DropTop is the staff. They're super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and you can tell they care about the food and the customers. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The burgers were my favorite, but honestly, everything I tried was solid.
