Ive been taking my dog Cash here for grooming and occasional daycare for about 14 months. He always appears to have a pleasant time and I trust that he has been well taken care of. The service is great and I was allowed to have a thorough tour and found the place to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. The grooming is always the way I want it , although there were a few times he was 10-15 minutes later than I was told to pick him up. I love BSB. My girlfriend recommended Santigo and his team. They have been grooming Sammy since I rescued him 5 years ago. When I found out that they also provide boarding and daycare services, I was excited. They love dogs and it shows from the time you open the door. Sammy use to be very apprehensive and now, he actually loves going. Everyone there knows him and greets him when we arrive. BSB is exceptionally clean all the time. What I love the most is that in order to board your dog there, it is a requirement that every dog be current on their shots and vaccines with no exceptions. They are affordable, a great team and most importantly, I feel very comfortable when I drop Sammy off, whether it be for grooming or boarding. BSB is by far the best on so many levels. I appreciate them so much, that they are on Sammy's Christmas list. The clientele are all really nice dog parents. You can tell a lot about a business, by the loyalty of their customers. Santiago is great with dogs and people. He treats Max , my Yellow Lab, as if he's his own. Santiago, who is also experienced with veterinary medicine, has been very informative in staying ahead and on top of any health issues with Max. I board Max at Bone Sweet Bone not only because of Santiago, but also, because instead of caging the dogs at night, they have someone sleep with the dogs in the pet space making it feel just like home. I used this facility once for day care and loved it! Very friendly staff. I had previously taken my dog to another day care facility, and they were NOT nice at all. They told me my dog didn't pass the eval, which totally shocked me. At Bone Sweet Bone, I mentioned this to them, and they were really understanding and said they would do the eval anyway. I don't usually write reviews but this place has been such a life saver! I've been using Bone Sweet Bone for a few months now and love it! I initially went to have my malti-poo, Capone, groomed there when I started working in the area. Capone waited in daycare and his grooming was done by the time I left work! Oscar nailed the haircut I designed perfectly!! And Capone had so much fun with the other dogs that I started bringing him a few times per week to play while I work. He loves the exercise and socialization with the other dogs. Santiago is great and fits Capone in for baths in between grooms when he needs a little refresh! I have a Yorkie and he is a little aggressive according to past groomers until came here. I'm happy they loved my dog and did not request for me to medicate my dog like others in the past. They said love and patience was the key. They did everything to him. In the past at other places they've cut my dogs ear, stabbed him with scissors. I'm so happy I found this place. The best groomer and doggie day care around. We have been taking our little Sophie there for over 5 years now and have never been disappointed in her care, cut or advise given to us. The staff and owner are so knowledgeable on just about everything. The establishment is so clean you'd think it was a preschool for kids. The staff is so caring, an example is that while being groomed, Edson the groomer noticed a little bump on our dog and immediately had the owner Santiago call us about his concern. I initially brought my dog in to be groomed and my very simple instructions were not followed - her haircut was awful, and they didn't even cut her nails. I was told this would never happen again, and gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time, she was completely mangled and again, came back with a terrible cut and her toenails were neglected. I have been coming to this place for year for grooming. They always seem to do a good job and although the results haven't been perfect, i'm happy with the results of the bath and cut. The one issue is it simply takes too long for a cut and a bath (5 hours on average) I won't even schedule a weekend appointment as they will overbook and the wait can be even longer. I have been taking my Bichon Frise here for her quarterly beauty appointment for about 2 years or so. The staff has always been super sweet and helpful, in person and on the phone, literally every time I am there or call. I usually call a week or so in advance for her appointment and have never had an issue setting up a time that works for my always changing schedule. They keep a record of the previous grooming style so if I like how she looks, I can request that I would like the same style as the previous appointment. If you have a curly haired dog, you know they can come out looking crazy very quickly if you're not careful, so I appreciate this attention to detail. I love how they put a cute little bandana on her after her appointment, and I have to say, I have a rainbow of colors that I have accumulated over the years that I continue to use on both of my small dogs. Also, their electronic payment iPad is awesome because it lets you add a tip when you pay with card, which is usually all I have. No more having to run and get cash for a tip if you don't have time or forget.
