Well, I used to love Bonefish. What a difference a few weeks, recipe changes and failed orders makes! 2 weeks ago, we ordered take out, when we brought it home, it was not our order, but inside were delicious crab cakes, this post while the restaurant pick up, delivery and service is quite poor, is nothing about the messed up order and the 2 hour tome to fix it, it is that tonight we decided to order those delicious crab cakes again, picked them up, they were 1) half the size 2) filled with no crab meat all filling and cold! These were NOTHING like the ones we received by mistake last time. I called the restaurant, they told me the recipe changed, and the manger did not want to discuss or take any calls. I was not calling to "get" anything. I only wanted to share my thoughts on the crab cakes, find out what happened and was met with a "don't care" attitude. Sooo, my post is about the QUALITY of the food and specifically the crab cakes, I would NEVER EVER order them again. I was contacted by Robert Reuschle who is the joint venture partner at the Bonefish Grill South Florida with regards to my complaint to the headquarters. They also noted my complaint on Yelp. He apologize for the conduct of his managing partner as what he told me who that person that was unprofessional to me. He did not try to brush off my complaint on the matter. He was very nice and sincere on making things right in addition to the fact that I am a regular at the Coral Springs branch. He promised to try to ensure that the kind of incident will never happen again to anyone. He offered me a dining voucher to make up for the unpleasantness I had experienced which I declined due to the fact that I was looking for a solution and apology not a gift. He insisted anyway and today I received a 50 dollars gift card by registered mail. It is good when a big chain like Bonefish Grille can apologize for their error and fix things. I am leaving this review to let anyone who orders takeout....Just Don't from this location! It seems the takeout servers do not check the order or put the proper condiments in with your meal. I have brought this to the attention of the manager "Alan" who was very nice and said he would talk with the takeout girls that prepare your food for pickup and try to fix the issue, but 2 weeks in a row following this conversation the same problems. I called again tonight to speak with them to make them aware, but tonight I wasn't able to get the same manager on the phone, but another manager by the name "Camille" who answered.....I explained the problem again....she said to me let me speak with "Alan" and get him to call you after taking my telephone number ..... Guess what? No call back and no apologies from "Camille"......I'm not looking for anything in return from this review other than to let Bonefish Grill Upper management know that I will never order takeout again from your location again and let other customers know "Beware because you have been warned". Went here the other night and wanted to leave a great review, the service was amazing the food was sooo good and everyone was socially distanced! For drinks my father ordered a smoked old fashioned which came with a black cherry a cool block of ice and in a slanted cup everything about it was very classy and nice! As for me, my mom,and my sister,we ordered Perrier and my mom got a house Merlot. To start we ordered a calamari which we've had before from here and it's fabulous, it had the fried calamari with pieces of fried red pepper and pieces of pepperoncino peppers; and a delicious Asian sauce to dip into. Bonefish also has complimentary bread and pest oil to snack on! We also ordered in addition to the calamari the beef wagu pot stickers, they were delicious and came with 6. They were so flavorful and a some type of Asian slaw with chopped up tomatoes, zucchini, green onion, and crispy onion on top in a soy Asian sauce! My parents both ordered side salads one got a Cesar that was very fresh with crunchy lettuce. The other ordered the side house salad with honey mustard dressing that had a variety of toppings on it including; tomatoes, hard boiled egg slices, and sunflower seeds. For dinner I ordered the special for the night which was soy glazed butterfish (black Alaskan cod)on a bed of jasmine rice with spinach and mushroom in their pan Asian sauce! It was my first time trying that dish and wow was impressed, so many amazing flavors going on and the fish soft and flaky, and the waitress also brought me over some extra pan Asian sauce like I asked; in addition I also ordered a side of my favorite coleslaw ever! My mother ordered the mahi and shrimp dinner with the side of grilled asparagus with the mango salsa she said the fish was light and fresh as well as the asparagus all very good. My father ordered the Chilean sea bass I believe it was, with the side of steamed broccoli, he said everything was delicious and fresh. My sister ordered the chicken Cesar salad a healthier option and said the chicken was delicious and lettuce fresh and crisp. Dinner was a 10/10! Of course we couldn't leave without trying some information their desserts so we ordered the chocolate lava brownie which was so good, along with the chocolate cremé bru le which was good the only thing I would add is some fruit on top to make that dish even better. I had given up on this restaurant after many complacent meals a few years ago. Well, it seems they have finally figured it out. Great staff from hostess, to food runner, to bartender, server and manager. Food was great, too. I was pleasantly surprised, especially because we got there at 10:00pm at night! We walked in and they took our name, it was a 15 minute wait..so we found a spot at the end of the community table...probably the least desired spot, sandwiched between the entrance to the restrooms and the service bar. The server IMMEDIATELY greeted us, and was warm and friendly while remaining professional. He handed me the menu and drink menu and took my drink order. I ordered something new, and when it came, I hated it. I didn't say anything to him, but he noticed I had not touched it and insisted I get something else. My second drink came, YUMMY, Ocean Trust Martini. Can't beat it. It was of course, perfectly chilled and delicious. We ordered our food, and in the meantime, bread was brought out and was warm and scrumptious. I love good bread! Our food was delivered in about 14 minutes and was perfect. We ordered a filet with potatoes au gratin and green beans. It was hot, seasoned perfectly and cooked to the proper temperature. My daughter devoured it! The server continued taking care of us, and checking on us. We never had to wait for anything, I was truly impressed, and made sure to tell the manager on the way out. Good job. Stopped into bonefish on a Saturday expecting to wait about an hour to be seated, however we were seated instantly. Our server came over took our drink order and brought over fresh warm bread which is delicious. We then placed an order for bang bang shrimp, calamari and wagyu beer dumplings that were all delicious. The portions are great for sharing. Once we placed our dinner order we didn't see our server for a long time.. appetizer plates were all on the table, drinks were empty we had to stop someone else to ask for water. Once our food came out again she disappeared, we needed some sauces and refills again had to ask someone else. I ordered the ahi tuna as my entree and it was terrible.. it's normally seared with a pink middle, mines was brown and tough as if it's been sitting out; I had to send it back. The rest of my family's meals were delicious... filet with a lobster tail (yumm) swordfish with veggies and a delicious sauce (phenomenal) and my husband got the fish of the day which he really enjoyed. Today was my first time eating here. I decided to try a restaurant I've never been to for my birthday. I made a reservation online, it seemed like the hostess didn't know what she was doing. I had to repeat my name three times, then she asked me my last name. Anyway, we ordered the a Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer. It wasn't very "bang bang" so my dad says. It lacked spice, but I enjoyed the few I had. I ordered the Fontina Chop with the Truffle Mac&Cheese which is a signature side. I enjoyed the ciabatta with oil and herbs. It was great. When my food came the presentation was nice. I didn't care for the pork chop. The flavoring was a little too sweet for my taste, but it was cooked perfectly. The mac & cheese was amazing! Very creamy, I loved the mushrooms in it. It was a large serving, I had more than enough to take some home. Overall I enjoyed my experience, and my food. I love Bonefish. Say what you will about chain restaurants, but they are one chain that seems to get it right. We arrived early on a Friday night, but didn't realize you could make a reservation. (Make a reservation! You may still have a wait, but not as long as if you just walk in.) We had about a 30 minute wait, no big deal. What was awesome, (provided the weather is decent), is that they have cushy furniture outside and a server passing out samples on Bang Bang Shrimp. And, another server came outside and took drink orders! It just made the wait a lot more tolerable. When we were seated, we of course ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp. I was surprised that even my husband loved them, and not only is he very picky, but he doesn't normally care for that type of sauce. And the bread, love the bread. My husband had the pecan parmesan crusted rainbow trout with au gratin potatoes and jasmine rice. The fish was cooked perfectly and we loved the sauce and the potatoes. The rice was not jasmine, though, definitely just plain white rice. I had the fish and chips, which were, well, fish and chips. The fish wasn't greasy and one of the better fish and chips I have had. The fries were a little disappointing, they seemed to be just frozen. I did enjoy the meal overall, though. The service was great, very attentive. If you don't like being a little crowded and lots of noise, you probably don't want to go to Bonefish. I love the atmosphere, but it can definitely be loud. My boyfriend and I had a good experience at this Bonefish Grill location. We arrived at around 8:30pm on a Saturday night, so there wasn't a wait, although the restaurant was very busy. The hostess who seated us was friendly, as was our server. The server was attentive and made sure that we were aware of the evening's specials. I also spotted (whom I believe to be) the manager walking around helping his waitstaff out and just making sure everything was running smoothly, which is always nice to see. Basically, service was great. For food, we ordered an appetizer off their specials menu--it was a crab, mango, and guacamole salsa thing. It was delicious, but we could've used more chips, as we were left with a lot of salsa and nothing to dip into it. I guess I could've asked for more chips, but I didn't bother to. My entree was the Tilapia Imperial, which is one of their seafood specialties. It's got scallops, shrimp, and crabmeat, though you can't really differentiate anything in the little blob on the tilapia. No matter, it was still very good. The entree comes with two sides, so I went with the mashed sweet potatoes and the "seasonal veggie" (broccoli). The sweet potatoes were sensational. They were a buttery delight. I could've eaten an entire plate full of them. The broccoli was broccoli. My boyfriend ordered the one burger on the menu. He seemed pleased with it and ate most of it, so I'm going to assume it was good. All in all, everything was good and I would come back here. Food was quick and tasty, service was great, prices are reasonable, and location/parking is easy. On Monday, I went I see the manager before the restaurant opened, and he was nasty and not apologetic, despite my showing him pictures of the bones. He wanted to know why I did not bring the food back and questioned whether it happened there. On Monday, I contacted Regional office in Tampa and despite their assurance that they would take care of it, offering me a gift card, have not heard back from them. This is another sign of lack of customer service by a restaurant. There are many other restaurants, and despite my frequent visits, I will not be going back to Bonefish Grille. Okay so first I need to point out something, there is a waiting time almost every night. So if you can't wait, you might want to go somewhere else. What I do enjoy is that there is avaliable seating as you're waiting. They offer free samples and you can order a drink or 2 as you wait. They always say it's a 45 minute wait, but I've never waited more than 20. The staff is wonderful. The hostess is always very polite and the servers are very attentive, always ready for any questions you have. I have come here very often and although its a bit pricey I don't mind spending the money. You get what you pay for every time. Their martinis are delish. I always order the Sirloin and Crab cake dinner. The steak is always cooked perfectly and the crab cake actually contains a lot of crab. Their pumpkin ravioli is the best during the fall and their remoulade is probably the best I've ever had. I have been coming to this location for years and it never disappoints. In fact, I moved 35 minutes away to Coconut Creek and we still come to this one because the one near us isn't as good. The service here tonight was top notch. They told us our wait time for a table for two would be 15 minutes and it was less than 5. We had some of our usual favorite appetizers which are the Ahi Tuna and Mussels Josephine. We decided to try something new as well, the shrimp pad Thai. We had some soup to start and they brought it out and I am mot kidding as soon as it came out I immediately smelt rotten food the soup was completely rotten it smelled like you just threw up and then leaned over to smell it sorry for TMI but it was so revolting. After that I ordered lobster and steak usually Lobster is my favourite food this lobster and steak tasted like it's been wrapped in plastic for weeks I literally tasted plastic and not steak it was absolutely disgusting I didn't even eat it and I will never be going back ever again. This review is based on the brunch! My besite and I decided to go for brunch Sunday morning when we woke up and it was the closest thing to where we were and not to mention one of the nicer restaurants in this area. I absolutely loved the brunch here! The brunch menu isn't that large but all the items on the menu are awesome. I got the Creme Brûlée French toast, which was a little on the burnt/crunchy side but I guess that really is how a Creme Brûlée is , the flavor was still delicious just wish it would have a little more fluffy and soft for my taste. It came with a side of bacon and some homemade whip cream and strawberries, delicious. My friends ordered the bang bang eggs benedict and I had to keep asking her for a bite because it was soooo good, im all about the sweet and salty mix so the both dishes together were heaven. Her benedict had a spicy little kick to it but it wasn't too overbearing, it was the perfect amount of spice. And the best part is they have all you can drink mimosas, Bellini's or champagne for just $10 more on top of whatever brunch entrée you order. It use to be $19.90 the waiter told us but they seemed to have changed it now to whatever your brunch item cost plus $10 , but in reality it comes out to more or the less the same about $20-24 . I am so sad to have to write this review because Bonefish used to be my favorite but recently it has kind of lost it's spark. We came here spur of the moment on A Saturday night but were seated pretty quickly despite the crowd. We started off with an order of bang bang shrimp. They were tasty but nothing special. I had the pomegranate martini which was very thick and sweet and left me feeling nauseous. By the time the food came I just wanted to get out. My lobster tail was fair sized and tasty but the au gratin potatoes were undercooked and my spinach was soupy with no flavor. My husband had the burger which was GREAT but he said the crab fried rice tasted fishy. I was extremely disappointed with my son's chicken breast that looked like random pieces of chewed up chicken that was re-grilled. Been to bonefish many times, however tonight's was worse experience I have had there. Was first told reservations for bar area booths were special reservation and I needed to specify that , news to me but I will give benefit of doubt , next Food came out EXTREMELY over cooked . Salmon special with cream spinach was lacking the cream or any liquid for that matter . Spinach was crunchy and salmon was no longer pink. Side of asparagus wasn't it's normal crisp green more of a camouflage army green. My dish of scallops and shrimp was just ok. Rice was good but green beans looked like they were bottom of barrel . I have noticed all the seafood tastes the same. I guess that's why all the dishes are accompanied with some sort of side sauce. I didn't take any pictures tonight out of discus for our meals. Service was nice as well as bar tenders . Food was just simply awful. We did not bring it to staff attention to avoid the I'm sorry speech and can we get you something else.. Went for dinner last night. Food was generally good but I was disappointed with four things.... 1. Tables were not socially spaced apart appropriately 2. Service was just ok. Waitress could have been more attentive. 3. Food was not hot enough. Considering it was only about 10 percent full this should not have been an issue. 4. We were offered coffee but told there's no cream or milk. When we asked why the answer was "Covid". Makes no sense to me. It was a Saturday night and hated the thought of waiting 55 minutes for a table. Thankfully they have first come first serve on the table outside. Perfect timing for us this evening.
