I placed a takeout order for 2 bone in Asian Zing combos. Me and my boyfriend are loyal customers and have been here MANY times. We live about 20 minutes away but we are always willing to make the drive. Tonight 10/28, we got home with our food after a long day & were extremely hungry. We tasted 1 wing and instantly had snot running down our noses. They were SO EXTREMELY SPICY you could NOT eat more than 1. We called them & the African American woman (I don't know her name) that works at the register answered, I explained to her these were ridiculously spicy and we wanted to return them for a refund. She says "yea it's cause the cook made them spicier today". My boyfriend goes to return the food, he is livid because who is compensating his gas? Nobody. You would think as a business if you are at fault you would be apologetic. That wasn't the case. My boyfriend tells her he needs a refund in cash & she refuses to give him a refund in cash & gives him a VERY HARD TIME. Why???? If you are already at fault why give that person more of a hard time??? She then calls my boyfriend "bro" now my boyfriend is extremely upset. He tells her to call the manager & the manager was VERY apologetic. While my bf was getting his cash refund from the manager the woman starts laughing in his face. SOOOOO PROFESSIONAL OF HER. The real problem is if she had told us from the beginning that the wings were made extra spicy today we would not have made the drive & paid $30 for our food. She did not give us a warning at all yet knew the entire time they were made too hot. This is not the first time she has been rude to us. Because of this incident, my bf NEVER wants to return back. So boom boom, please make sure you are hiring professional employees with customer service skills. Because of her behavior, this restaurant has lost out on 2 loyal customers. Located in a shopping plaza. There is plenty of free parking. Staff was very nice and friendly. I ordered the 6 piece bone in chicken wings with Cajun spice. Chicken was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. I had the boneless Asian Zing and Garlic Soy and the flavors were wonderfully yummy for $11.55. Definitely coming back soon to try other flavors. Now they have changed their chicken from a party wings to a whole wing, but their new wings still have remnants of feathers and they deep fry whole wings with feathers on them. This restaurant is located in Palmdale, I hope the Lancaster location is sticking to the original way boom boom chicken would cook and serve the antelope Valley. I highly recommend it if you can handle eating spicy food. Service is pretty quick. I usually call ahead to place an order for to go to avoid waiting. Excellent chicken place, have been there a few times, it is a spot my boys and I stop at when coming back from mammoth or bishop. Excellent quality and the sauces are great. Have had the Korean sauce which is spicy and really excellent, also had the BBQ which is great and the chili is also good for those looking for something with flavor and a little spice. The fries are great, seasoned to perfection and good size portions. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking and great service. I usually go to the Lancaster store - they are the best wings in the AV - hands down. Figured this would be just as good since they are the same - I was wrong - they changed the type of wing and the quality went down with it - so if you order 15 wings - you get 10 full wings - which is supposed to be a better deal - but the new wings have barely any meat on them so not sure I'd call it an upgrade - and they still had the feathers on so ewwwww - The sides were super cold - got corn salad and Cole slaw. I usually LOVE Cajun flavor food but for some reason this chicken seasoning was not for me. It tasted tangy. More like Buffalo seasoning. Maybe we got the wrong order or it got mixed up with someone else's order but it wasn't Cajun. Any how the chickens drumlets are a good decent size for finger food. The seasoned fries are also very good. They are short on staff or something because they don't answer their phone when we called. We called about 5 times to place an order for pick up but the answer machine kept saying voicemail is full. We went ahead and headed over there anyway. Waiting was about 40 minutes long. This place was the only place around that was open on Thanksgiving. It's a family-owned restaurant serving chicken wings (Korean style) and other items such as chicken teriyaki and donkatsu. The chicken salad was decent. An assortment of greens with slices of avocado and chicken with your choice of dressing. I chose the balsamic vinaigrette. Nothing too special. The chicken ISN'T grilled. Not sure how it was cooked but it is a healthy alternative for the rest of the stuff. The Chicken Teriyaki was a bit disappointing. The chicken wasn't hot enough. The sauce was mediocre and again the chicken wasn't grilled. The Donkatsu was pretty decent. Breaded pork chop and deep fried with a side of rice and donkatsu sauce. The donkatsu sauce didn't really taste authentic; tasted more like a modified barbeque sauce. I received a side of pork dumplings for checking in on Yelp. These were pretty good. The skin wasn't too thick and the filling was moist. The sauce was a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar. The kicker to this place was the kim chi. It was added on the menu and we bit. We ended up ordering a couple ordered because it was really good. It wasn't too sour; nor was it too salty. It was confirmed to be homemade by the owner's aunt! The service here is great. The waitress was very welcoming and accommodating. Being a family-owned restaurant, you can feel the amount of work they put into the setting up the place, making the food, and making sure that service is up to par. 3 stars for now but I think they will get on their feet and make some minor changes to their entrees to make this place a stand out place for chicken wings and other dishes. I will come by again when I'm in Palmdale to check out the chicken wings. Maybe that's why I felt this place was 3 stars. I didn't come for their signature dish! Next time. read more

We got these to be eaten here. For my other friends, they got their food to go. I thought it was interesting to see how after 15 minutes we ordered our food, our friends got theirs first while we had to wait another 15 minutes to get ours. I understand that it takes a while to get the food since they are cooked in batches and are being made fresh to order, but I wonder how we got two different outcomes from all of this. Nevertheless, I was more interested in the taste of the fried chicken once we got our food. Upon the first bite of the fries, I was surprised. I can taste the saltiness and the sugar of these fries and they work well together. It was amazing and addicting to have these fries as a side order to the chicken wings, which were so flavorful and crunchy in every bite. According to my boyfriend, he first visited this place with his best friend and was able to talk to the owner who said that he gets the chicken all the way from L.A., an hour long drive from Palmdale.
