Great BBQ, friendly service, and a full bar--always a win. The space is a spacious, modern building with cool décor that still feels very family-friendly. You order at the front and the food is brought to your table, which keeps things easy and relaxed. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the food came out impressively fast. The jalapeño popper dip is anything but standard. With cowboy candy (candied jalapeños) and a Thai chili drizzle, it hits sweet, spicy, and savory all at once. The pita chips paired perfectly and disappeared fast. The brisket was a standout--richly flavored with a thick, well-developed bark that clearly shows the care behind it. I'm notoriously picky about BBQ sauce, but theirs strikes a great balance between smoky, lightly sweet, and just tangy enough without overpowering the meat. Mood: Disappointed Opening week. Was not happy. I was very excited to try this bar b Que place as many others were because due its bar b que! But maybe it was due to some shortages of items or it was take out but the portion size for sides A complete joke. Like literally two bites and the end. Not sure if that was intentional but that was horrible. Service was cool, place is brand new so of course clean. Food: Smoked sausage 10/10 BEST THING I had. Brisket 7/10: dry, had top flavor but was not tender. Green beans 5/10: not enough to even consider. No seasoning Potato Salad 5/10 bland. First thing I want to mention is about the staff. I placed an order through doorsdash, I'm not local, there was a young man taking care of a customer on the cashier and there was a young lady and man talking to a customer which sounded like a personal conversation. The cashier did acknowledge me and said he'd be with me but neither of the other too bother to ask if they could help me. The cashier had to ask the girl to help me. As far as the food, it was both good and ok. I'm from Texas and eat plenty of brisket, the brisket at your restaurant was a bit dry but tasty, the sausage was tasty but a tad too peppery, potato salad tasted mostly of mayonnaise, green beans seemed like they came straight from a can. read more

First time here and we're SO glad we decided to try it out! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere is great--clean, open, and inviting--with a fantastic bar setup and awesome outdoor dining options. And can we talk about the bathrooms?! Seriously fun, unique, and such a cool touch that made the experience even more memorable. Now for the food... WOW. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We ordered the pulled pork, brisket, smoked sausage, the Cubano sandwich with fries, a loaded baked potato with brisket, baked beans, and mac & cheese--and not a single miss. The meats were tender and flavorful, the sides were spot on, and the Cubano was packed with flavor. All FOUR sauces were incredible--each one unique and delicious in its own way. This is a great addition to White House, TN. The building is beautiful, there's outdoor seating and a bar that wraps around inside to outside and there's plenty of parking. As you walk in you place your order and are handed a number to take to the table you choose to dine at. When your order is done your food is brought to your table. We were SO excited to have a good bbq place in town because the two others just are not great. Sadly, this was much of the same. The brisket, while showing some signs of smoke, was BONE dry with very little flavor. The pulled pork was the opposite and was just wet slop without any flavor. The baked beans were pork and beans with black beans thrown in and maybe some pepper? The Mac and cheese was just greasy and did not have anything notable about it. The only thing, which made everything edible but you should not have to use, that had any true flavor, was the bbq sauce. We got the Memphis They will survive in WH- most people here think Perry's is elite and the BBQ place is Michelin star so Boom Boom will fit in just fine. read more

Fourth visit. Previous reviews have not been great. So, it's nice to be able to leave a good review. First, service was consistently pleasant each time. We had 1/4 chicken leg from the biggest d... chicken i've ever seen. Two meals! Juicy with good skin. Nice change from other BBQ places where the chicken is often dry. Hats off Good sides, too. We also ordered the Brunswick Stew. Again, a huge serving. Corn muffin was slightly sweet and still moist. Another hats off. The stew was tasty, not dry with a hint of spice. Traditional bbq restaurant ordering style, that I can appreciate. The restaurant is nicely decorated and we were greeted promptly. Hostess/cashier was very nice and answered questions. We ordered everything to go and all items were packaged properly and stayed warm on our journey. We tried the sausage first, solid 4 out of 5. Tasted a lot like a Conecuh Sausage, might have even been one. Karolina sauce took me by surprise at first but I genuinely enjoyed it as well. Next was the pulled pork. Here's where the disappointment started. It wasn't pulled, it was a hunk of meat(with gristle) that we had to pull ourselves to make sandwiches. That shouldn't happen for 18 bucks a pound. Flavor wise it was meh. I could taste the smoke but otherwise it lacked any real flavor.(seasoning anyone?) 2 out of 5. Potato salad was good, 3.5 out of 5. Macaroni and cheese, not good. Traveling and looking for a good dinner spot. Had a pulled pork sandwich with fries. Meat was tender with good flavor. Meat was plentiful with good fresh bun that covered the sandwich. I have been three times... four o'clock on opening day, five thirty three days later, and most recently on friday, December twelfth at twelve thirty. My first visit, I ordered the hog shots and a cubano sandwich. The hog shots tasted like they had been made for the lunch rush and sat in the warming drawer until four o'clock. They were kind of dried up and lukewarm at best. Big cuba sandwich also looked like had it had been assembled that morning and then, grilled during shift change by the guy who washes the dishes, because somebody was on break. It was uninspired and barely warm. (It was opening day and benefit of the doubt because these people do have great credentials.) My next visit was with neighbors who were anxious to go and I acted like I had not been. We got there around 5, and the crowd started arriving as we were dining. They ordered a couple different things and when it came to the table, the common comment was that none of it was hot. I had the stuffed baked potato. And the potato was turning brown on the inside, like it had been sitting in the warmer too long. The potato might have been smoked but that may also have been remnants of the brisket.... and the brisket was dry and flavorless. The pictures are from my most recent visit on December twelfth at twelve thirty p m. The place was pretty empty for a friday lunch rush. I ordered the smoked crab dip and the cubano sandwich. The texture of the crab dip was guppy at best and if there was crab in it, it was heavily augmented with pork and it was not very smoky, nor was it any more than lukewarm. The peter chips were hard and crunchy and added nothing... Saltine crackers would have been better. I realize it is a barbecue restaurant and that the cubano sandwich is a riff on a real cubano, but there was none of the mustardy goodness, the gooeyness of a melted Swiss cheese or even the brininess of a dill pickle. As like everything else, it was lukewarm at best when it hit the table. Sadly, the best thing about my lunch was the french fries. I really wanted to try the desserts, as they look delicious, but I could not find it in my heart to be disappointed again. I really wanted to like this place. The menu looks delicious in print. Service was okay. The brisket is dry and not particularly flavorful. The mac & cheese is a little greasy and is no better, or worse than the average "church dinner" offering. The tea was weak and had an "off" taste. The sauces could have come from any shelf in the grocery store. The use of their signature seasoning in the cole slaw was off putting, I can't think of any reason to put cinnamon in a slaw... it tasted like they had simply mixed some dry rub into some sour cream. No breads -- I've eaten BBQ all over the South and never found a place, until now, that didn't have cornbread, Texas toast, garlic bread, or rolls of some kind. When I asked, I was told that the owner didn't open "a meat & three". The chicken wings were not bad but not good enough to make it a destination. It felt rushed, making a decision. We were there before 3pm on a Wednesday. One other couple arrived at the same time. I could imagine the chaos if many people were waiting to order. I was looking forward to a pulled pork sandwich but was told they were out of buns. Not sure why someone couldn't run to the nearby grocery and get buns. There were several employees staffed but food took a while, even at an un-busy time. The food was good (Brisket, baked beans, and mac n cheese.) I prefer a sit-down restaurant with a server, but I can see this place succeeding after going through the challenges of opening a new business. Brisket was very dry and more like roast beef and had no smokie flavor - hard to fix that because they only give you a small tiny plastic container of semi-good sauce with your order. They have a lot of room for improvement on smoking a brisket. The staff was nice, place is real nice but that's as far as it goes. Place is full of fly's and waaay over priced! Wasn't expecting to order immediately upon arrival, so understand it's not a sit down restaurant in the traditional sense of having a server. Ordered the bbq stuffed potato and you can choose the meat (pork, brisket, or chicken) and a sauce. The portion was good and plating appearance was good but the meat was dry and you don't get any sauce on the side. There's not enough sauce on the food itself and you won't have any to add. The dining area is spacious. The value isn't great. Overall, not impressive. Not saying I'd never return but there doesn't seem to be much to look forward to there. read more

On our way home from Clarksville, looked at menu online in car. Arrive there to discover prices on mains were $8.00 higher than online prices. Asked about that, manager came, took out his phone and looked online and said it was a mistake and he would change immediately, then charged us the higher prices. The baked beans were delicious! I am very glad to report a true gem in the White House area! The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of their menu. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The lighting and general "sound" of this restaurant was perfect. The setup is very nice...my wife at one point said, "even if this place was busy, we'd still have enough space to manage this kids and eat (comfortably)." ....now to the food....Very delicious! I personally suggest: the "Nacho Daddy" as a stand-alone with pulled pork, the ribs, the wings, the baked beans and the brisket when dipped in Memphis Belle sauce. The potato salad is the best I've had in the city.... I didn't have enough room for the dessert but I'll definitely come back and give it a try. Big city eating with a small town feel. Stick to competitive BBQ...doing food for several judges is a lot different than for hundreds of customers paying high prices. No service as virtually no service given. Brisket was cold and dry. Pulled pork warm but really no smoked or dry rub flavor. Mac n cheese cold and little flavor. Fries were hot and good. Two sandwiches, two sides and $33 out of my pocket.
