Typical Cracker Barrel style but the food was hit or miss. Pancakes tasted like they were cooked on a grill after something else, biscuits and gravy were tasteless. That said, my eggs were cooked the way I like and their cheesy potatoes were decent. Coffee was abundant and our server Mikayla very attentive. I have said this a few times before but I will never give this company another penny of my money. I am so tired of this restaurant taking advantage of me at every opportunity. I spend $45 and get a small burger that is over cooked and dry. I didn't get my onion pedals in my order, ordered eggs over medium and they are the runniest undercooked eggs I have seen come out of Cracker Barrel yet, burnt bacon and this country ham is smaller than my sausage patty. Charge me $7 for this piece of bacon, single piece of sausage and this pathetic piece of ham, ordered grits and no butter or salt to be found. Instead I get a little plastic bag with mustard and mayonnaise packets only. Cinnamon apple slices that are dry and taste like they are 3 days old. I mean it. I swear to the Lord above. I will never be robbed from this horrible restaurant brand ever again. It's my fault for giving them a 10th chance to screw me. I will post my photos and review on every social media and review site available with photos so I can at least take this experience and use this horribly disappointing experience to try to help others not waste their money and keep them from the same horrible experience. read more

Terrible service. Lazy managers, dirty tables on two sides of us during the entire meal. Management just talking doing nothing, while there store looks like crap and I wait for my food until my companions where almost done.oh yeah they didn't have the soup when they brought my salad. Just had the wonderful chicken and dumpling soup. My husband and I were about six feet from a gentleman and a lady. Assumed they were from corporate headquarters. We were telling a lady ( am again assuming she was the manager) things that she should be doing. Maybe she needed to be told, I don't know. But this never should have taken place where patrons could hear. As we were leaving I walked up to the three , still in front of the fireplace, told the embarrassed lady that our food was wonderful and our service was great. She said "thank you so much ". I didn't exactly tell the truth, we had some mix ups with our waitress but was her first day. We tried to be supportive and give her confidence. This location is very stingy with serving sizes. Especially sides with takeout orders. My last adventure here still has me amazed. I ordered a bowl of beans and it was packaged in an oblong container and the serving barely covered the bottom of the bowl. I asked the takeout attendant if this was full bowl. My family and I felt super bad, they took terrible care of us, they took a long time to bring us the Food and when they brought it it was cold, I could hardly eat it. Shout out to our server today, Lillian. It was exceptionally busy and I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen ... but our food took 45+min to come out and other tables who ordered after us had gotten theirs before we did. Unfortunately, stuff happens sometimes....but Lillian checked in on us frequently and was so apologetic about the wait. It wasn't even her fault, but she made us feel like we weren't forgotten about and it meant a ton. Besides, when we did get our food, it was delicious! I got the cheesecake stuffed pancakes. They ran out of strawberries, so I ended up getting blueberries instead. Amazing. The pancakes are crispy on the outside and come with syrup, fruit and whipped cream. Cracker Barrel is generally a staple brand nationwide. The team here needs some focus. From the presentation of the dining room (dirty table, chairs and floor to a very uncharachteristic bathroom. We placed simple orders which came out partially right (not to the menu and what we normally expect). The girl that brought the food out we thought was correcting it but she didn't (said she was, and didn't). Then our waitress was put off with correcting and waited to bring it out with other orders. Food was actually good, service and cleanliness the worst we've had in a CB store. Good luck. read more

Honestly service has been bad the past few times but the food is alright. There was a worker sierra who was phenomenal and so nice. She had a whole side to herself and had to clean up multiple tables. I think the place just needs more employees, but they need to ensure they're good and quality workers. Very quick to be seated!! Friendly waitress told us on our way to our seat about the special of the day! (Stuffed pancakes) our waitress was quick with coffee and water to the table and was through on explaining everything about the menu ! The last two times we've been there it was a cold morning. The fire is roaring and they seat you in the other rooms. They claim they are low on servers which I understand, so fill up the dining room nearest the fireplace first. It was still cold in there but if your back is to the fireplace you can probably survive. Our server was wonderful. We tipped her very well. The manager doesn't know what she is doing. the food took forever the be served and my order was wrong. I am a vegetarian and I asked that the bacon just be left off of my meal entirely (I got the old timers breakfast) because the grease leftover getting on my eggs can make me sick. the bacon came half draped over the eggs so I couldn't eat half and they were cold by the time they got to me. this has been a repetitive problem at more than one location, but this is the one I frequent the most often. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had eating out. We travel a lot and typically frequent Cracker Barrel, this location needs some assistance in both structure and service. We have a family of 6 and our food came out at different periods. By the time our last plate came out, the first person was already finished eating. The appetizers came out last after waiting over an hour for our food. I understand short staffing, but if the staff knows the delay they should be more upfront about it. We had the most entertaining experience at this Cracker Barrel! We dropped in for a road trip dinner with some time to kill hoping traffic would die down just a bit. Luckily, our experience here did the trick! An hour and half of nothing but intrigue, drama, and a strawberry cocktail (heavy on the strawberry). We walked into a line that spanned almost to the front door just to put our name in and I knew we were in for it. A 4-star aproner was the only employee putting names in and seating people. Fortunately for her, not only was the line long to put your name in but ready tables were being called in batches! We get up to the hostess stand to put our name in and... you guessed it - an angry woman who was told "you're up next" "30-minutes ago." After some back and forth, the woman said "never mind, we'll go somewhere else." I'm so glad they sell snacks because I needed some for my show! We walked around and shopped until our batch of tables were called. Our 4-star aproner walked us to our seats and that's really when our entertainment for the evening began. The table next to us was dishing some tea, the table behind us called over the manager because their pancakes were made with "spoiled batter." The table across from them lost one of their patrons to the bathroom for 25-30 minutes, and the table across the dining room from us left the table without ordering. As people were leaving, the manager was giving real Miss Ungermeyer from the Lizzie McGuire Movie energy. Stone cold when asking "how was your meal?" Off putting really. My favorite part of the evening was our sweet waiter (truly) who accidentally dropped the plate of chicken on my lap. We had a good laugh, I wiped off my shirt, and enjoyed the rest of my meal with the atmosphere of anger just radiating off of almost everyone there... except of our waiter. She was a gem. All in all, I'd say don't take it too seriously when eating at a Cracker Barrel. Just roll with the punches and enjoy your strawberry lemonade cocktail (hold the lemonade)! read more

I have always been a huge Cracker Barrel fan. Most locations you will get great food and get to browse the store with ease, even if there's a wait. We were here on a Monday. Not a lot of cars in the parking lot when we arrived at 5:30, so we were hopeful for hot food and full stomachs on our arrival. We were seated quickly. Everyone had ample time to review the menu. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. 15 minutes in (I probably should have been worried at this point) our server came to our table, took our drink and food order, and promptly left. We had our drinks about 5 minutes later. One HOUR later, we finally had cold food and a lot of agitation. No apologies and lots of excuses. I started to snap a picture and thought better of it. This is not Cracker Barrel standards- I have eaten there enough to know that even if our order had been forgotten about it should have been remade, and not half served hot and the rest cold and overcooked. No apologies. Not anything except some mumbling about a mix up in the kitchen. I broke down at the register, because this was the only meal I got to spend with my oldest daughter for this holiday visit, and it was horrible. Cracker Barrel, we love you. We love going to Cracker Barrel's When traveling to and from cities. This restaurant wasn't up to par as far as we were concerned. The flood felt greasy and we were worried about walking to and from our table. Our daughter ordered bacon, a side of casserole potatoes and some biscuits. When we meal came it was two eggs and bacon. We asked for her side of potatoes and they brought it out. The biscuits that came with her and my husband's meals were burnt on the bottoms so they only ate the top half of the biscuit. One of her bacon pieces was raw so she didn't eat it. This Cracker Barrel needs a little TLC. My meal was good. read more

All the Cracker Barrel stores went down hill about 10 years ago. Cracker Barrel was once a really good place to get Southern cooking, (yes, Southern is a place.) Something happened to the company focus, because all across Middle Tennessee the stores starting having poor management, poor service, and the quality of the food went down.
