Amazing service from Rick, amazing food. Glad we found it -- hope we get the timing right to stop on our way back through.

Went here 2x the past 3 weeks. Bern wanting to try this place out. I was pleasantly surprised with both the variety and flavor of the food. We ordered wings, tacos, and a loaded nacho-style platter. The wings came out crispy with a nice dry rub plenty of flavor without being overly greasy. The magic dust was a lot had to shake some off. My friend had the tacos were fresh, topped with crisp slaw and a good hit of cheese, and the sauce on the side added a nice kick. The nacho plate was piled high with tender pulled brisket melty cheese, and plenty of toppings to share. The only complaint I have is that the potatoes was bland when it was boiled. You can tell that the bbq and brisket was the only thing that flavors it. It was disappointing. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The sides were solid as well. The jalapeno cream corn had a creamy, slightly creamy and sweet that paired well with everything. The potato salad was a classic creamy version, which helped balance out the spice from the wings. Service was so slow the server was running both bartenders and server. Even though it was busy, food came out hot and. On Fridays they have live music, which adds a fun vibe, though just know it can get a little loud if you're trying to have a long conversation. Avoid Friday if you just want to grab something to eat. Overall, a great casual spot to hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and take in some live tunes. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu! read more

I have some friends that play in a rock band that performed here so I went to go check it out. At first, I thought this is a pool hall, but no! The Q stands for barbecue, and let me tell you it is delicious. This is a locally owned venue. That is cool local hangout spot. Nice stage for live music and tastefully decorated! This is the 2nd time we have driven all the way to enjoy a meal here, because they really do have amazing BBQ. However their staffing SUCKS! When we showed up at 2:15 there was one person working the bar and dining area. We waited for 30 minutes and still couldn't get service because the poor girl was trying to get other people drinks while had been there longer than us. Good Q. The place was doing brisk business on the Saturday night that we were there. And speaking of "brisk", their brisket is very good. I had the stuffed baked potato with brisket stuffed in. Well, not exactly stuffed in, more like mixed in. They don't do the traditional big baked potato. It's a bunch of small potatoes in a pile with your choice of meat draped, mixed, churned in. I liked this innovative approach. Easy to eat and every bit as good as your everyday filled spud. Dare I say better? Yes, I dare to. There are sandwiches to get and nachos, too. Two orders of the nachos found their way to our table. One with pork and the other with brisket. Both looked mouth watering enough to try and snatch a couple of chips, but I watched my manners and refrained from doing so. I wonder if my guests were thinking the same thing about pilfering one of my baby potatoes.... Drinks were flowing and music blaring. Oh, did I forget to mention the live music? So sorry, On the night we were there a band called "Out of Reach" was playing. They had folks dancing and cheering. The crowd spilled out through the open overhead doors. We were seated fairly close to the band. Dare I say maybe a bit too close? LoL, I think that had I any kidney stones, they would have been obliterated by the sound vibration. I haven't seen (or felt) any remnants yet, but the day is still young. Anyway, the band was fantastic. It was huge fun. The place draws an eclectic crowd. There was a good mix of healthy deserving folks looking to have fun, and by the look of it, they all did. I sure did. Quick Tip: The building looks kind of like a garage with its overhead doors and such. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice clean joint. It's definitely not a dive bar, but maybe more of a drive bar. During the wait we asked several times how much longer and each time we were told a few minutes. When we got the steak the waitress told us ours was given to someone else. This is a clean establishment that appears to be a converted garage. The menu is very simple and short. I decided on the BBQ pork potatoes - a simple plating of small Yukon gold potatoes layered with melted cheese, BBQ pork, and BBQ sauce. Included is a side of sour cream, a side of butter, and a side of pickle and pepper slaw. They are quite generous and I wasn't able to finish it all. Not bad for $12. Pretty decent for a late lunch on a busy Sunday!! They also feature $5 mimosas on Sundays (or bloody Mary's). I got a pineapple mimosa and it was truly good!! Not too sweet and not stingy on the champagne either!! Staff is quite friendly and attentive. I felt at home! My only wish is that my food was hotter - it was served lukewarm. Solid service; waitress was sweet and had a positive, outgoing personality. We had the 3 tacos (they were marked as award winning so had to try that) as well as the brisket meal with mac and cheese and the corn as sides. Being from California we've had most kinds of tacos, but never before ones like these. They were absolutely delicious. The brisket in them and on the plate were super tender and had great flavor. Mac and cheese was fine. The jalapeño creamed corn needs a different name: it is not creamed corn, but corn kernels with a jalapeño cream sauce. It had a mild kick and was very tasty. Had dinner with my brother and sister in law here last week. I had the potatoes, brother had a plate and sis in law had tacos all with the pulled pork and everyone loved the food. Loved it so much I got takeout on Sunday for myself and my mother. I intend to be a regular. There was a live band the night we ate in and it was quite busy and loud. Sunday seemed much more laid back. Can't wait to try it on a Wednesday for steak night! Service was quick and helpful. Get the potatoes for sure either as a side or the main entree. We've had our eye on this place so tried it for lunch. The menu is limited but well thought out. My wife had the smoked wings with Lima Loma dry rub, very good. I had the brisket plate - wow! Massive amount of brisket, small slaw, pickles, roll, and two sides! Everything was top notch. Jaylin was our server and bartender. Usually, I try to snag a couple of pictures of the food for places I eat at. For this restaurant, it looked too good I started eating immediately! I got a loaded brisket baked potato and it was to die for. If I keeled over in this restaurant from how good the food was, just know it was worth every bite. The portion sizes were great. The potato was really soft. The brisket would melt in your mouth. All of it was well seasoned and I definitely need to go back to get one of their seasoning bottles. The restaurant is hidden by the intersection, but the facility is large and had plenty of seating. Our waitress was very quick to get our food in and was super friendly. It's decorated with military regalia, so bonus points on being veteran friendly. They had a couple of awards behind the bar and it's clear how they got them. Decent flavored brisket. But a big surprise was to see a charge for Bar-b-que sause...At a Bar-B-Que! REALLY? A $60.00 dinner and then see a charge for the sause. Mediocre ambiance, priced a bit high, but the petty charge for sause may very well prevent us from returning. What sause was delivered with the dinner was about 1 tablespoon. I asked for 2 more and the waitress asked if I'd like to try their other sause. I said sure. She brought a tablespoon of a mustard based sause and the 2 extra tiny plastic cups, 1/2 full. At no time was an extra charge for any of the sauses stated. read more
