Stopped in on a road trip for a late lunch. Place is conveniently right off I 24 between Nashville and Clarksville and easy to find. It's a typical BBQ/bar vibe with plenty of tables and TVs playing sports events. We ordered a brisket sandwich, pulled pork plate and had bbq beans and Mac and cheese as sides. Also got a thick slice of smoked bologna just to try it. All the food was excellent and served hot and fresh. The brisket was standout - flavorful and not overly fatty. Beans were super tasty. Went here 2x the past 3 weeks. Bern wanting to try this place out. I was pleasantly surprised with both the variety and flavor of the food. We ordered wings, tacos, and a loaded nacho-style platter. The wings came out crispy with a nice dry rub plenty of flavor without being overly greasy. The magic dust was a lot had to shake some off. My friend had the tacos were fresh, topped with crisp slaw and a good hit of cheese, and the sauce on the side added a nice kick. The nacho plate was piled high with tender pulled brisket melty cheese, and plenty of toppings to share. The only complaint I have is that the potatoes was bland when it was boiled. You can tell that the bbq and brisket was the only thing that flavors it. It was disappointing. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The sides were solid as well. The jalapeno cream corn had a creamy, slightly creamy and sweet that paired well with everything. The potato salad was a classic creamy version, which helped balance out the spice from the wings. Service was so slow the server was running both bartenders and server. Even though it was busy, food came out hot and. On Fridays they have live music, which adds a fun vibe, though just know it can get a little loud if you're trying to have a long conversation. Avoid Friday if you just want to grab something to eat. Overall, a great casual spot to hang out with friends, enjoy good food, and take in some live tunes. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu! read more

We absolutely love Qued Up! After recently moving to Pleasant View, my wife and I stopped in for dinner while we were in town house hunting. The food and service were spectacular, and we had such a great experience with the friendly staff and welcoming customers that it actually became one of the reasons we decided to buy a home in Pleasant View. Now that we live here, we eat at Qued Up often, and they never disappoint. The food is consistently excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. We've been there a few times. The last time was the last time, if you know what I mean. The brisket is less than average. The pork items were OK, but lots of folks do OK or better. Their sides don't live up to their potential. I am not sure, but I bet their liquor pours are 1 oz, not 1.5 oz. So if you order three Jack's over two hours, you are getting 3 oz total not 4.5 oz total. I say this because I order my gin and tonic separate, and the gin is always short. Might seem strange but i want to taste the gin by itself, then the tonic by itself and then decide on the ratio. You'd be surprised how many servers can't tell you what kind of tonic they use. I like the dryer Fever Tree, and try to avoid Canada Dry (which is perhaps the least DRY of any tonic out there! Ironic, no?) Did I mention I am trained and registered Pit Boss? So, yes, I am picky, but honestly, I think you'll have a similar experience, even if you think Traeger is the best thing ever! read more

I have some friends that play in a rock band that performed here so I went to go check it out. At first, I thought this is a pool hall, but no! The Q stands for barbecue, and let me tell you it is delicious. This is a locally owned venue. That is cool local hangout spot. Nice stage for live music and tastefully decorated! If I ever murder anyone and get the death penalty, I want their brisket tacos as my last meal. The rest of the food ain't bad either, and they have a nice beer and whiskey selection. Good Q. The place was doing brisk business on the Saturday night that we were there. And speaking of "brisk", their brisket is very good. I had the stuffed baked potato with brisket stuffed in. Quiet BBQ joint not too far from I-24 in Ashland, TN. Que'd Up 615 is pretty unassuming and a local favourite. Part is restaurant, part is a humble bar. This is a clean establishment that appears to be a converted garage. The menu is very simple and short. I decided on the BBQ pork potatoes - a simple plating of small Yukon gold potatoes layered with melted cheese, BBQ pork, and BBQ sauce. Included is a side of sour cream, a side of butter, and a side of pickle and pepper slaw. They are quite generous and I wasn't able to finish it all. Not bad for $12. Pretty decent for a late lunch on a busy Sunday!! They also feature $5 mimosas on Sundays (or bloody Mary's). I got a pineapple mimosa and it was truly good!! Not too sweet and not stingy on the champagne either!! Staff is quite friendly and attentive. I felt at home! My only wish is that my food was hotter - it was served lukewarm. During the wait we asked several times how much longer and each time we were told a few minutes. When we got the steak the waitress told us ours was given to someone else. Being from California we've had most kinds of tacos, but never before ones like these. They were absolutely delicious. The brisket in them and on the plate were super tender and had great flavor. Mac and cheese was fine. The jalapeño creamed corn needs a different name: it is not creamed corn, but corn kernels with a jalapeño cream sauce. It had a mild kick and was very tasty. Had dinner with my brother and sister in law here last week. I had the potatoes, brother had a plate and sis in law had tacos all with the pulled pork and everyone loved the food. Loved it so much I got takeout on Sunday for myself and my mother. I intend to be a regular. There was a live band the night we ate in and it was quite busy and loud. Usually, I try to snag a couple of pictures of the food for places I eat at. For this restaurant, it looked too good I started eating immediately! I got a loaded brisket baked potato and it was to die for. If I keeled over in this restaurant from how good the food was, just know it was worth every bite. The portion sizes were great. The potato was really soft. The brisket would melt in your mouth. All of it was well seasoned and I definitely need to go back to get one of their seasoning bottles. The restaurant is hidden by the intersection, but the facility is large and had plenty of seating. Our waitress was very quick to get our food in and was super friendly. It's decorated with military regalia, so bonus points on being veteran friendly. They had a couple of awards behind the bar and it's clear how they got them.
