One cold night, 2 girls went driving around the town, came upon this hidden gem. Walked in & to be honest didn't really know what to expect. It was a rustic lil dive. Sat down order the large pepperoni pizza (by the way it was to die for so yum!) & a pitcher of beer. Ahh! Must try the fried pickle chips! I didn't see them on the lunch menu, but saw some reviews that mentioned them. They are probably my favorite fried pickles ever!! The fish tacos were good and I would also recommend the wings. This is a great place for a lunch, but I'm guessing its even more chill for happy hour time. I just love this place!!! Seriously!! They have a great beer selection! I ordered the berry weisen last time and it was just amazing!! I also had the John Doe pizza and I loved it!! I love pizza lol I also ordered the artichoke spinach dip, I'm personally not a big fan of it, but it was actually pretty good. Boondoggles is an awesome pub with some of the best food in the Bay Area. They take advantage of their Fish market access location by offering seafood dishes in addition to their standard pub fare. Specifically, their ceviche is spot on and they have several specialty pizzas with shrimp as a topping. I would like to praise them for recently upping their brunch from a buffet to an a la carte menu. I had the migas last Sunday and they were great. read more

I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't impressed. The "best fried pickles ever" were just like eating fried batter dipped in ranch. The pickles were incredibly thin. My girlfriend is obsessed with having brunch here. They have a pretty large breakfast menu Sat/Sun. It is usually fairly busy but never too busy to walk in and get a seat. Has a covered patio which is nice even when it's raining. Inside they have a cool fireplace that would be fun to visit during the winter. The best bar food and great selection of draft beers! The ambiance of the establishment is very welcoming. The regulars here are very friendly, restaurant has a great waitstaff and food items. We always hit up this place not only for Happy Hour, but their Steak Night. Steak Night is $10.95 with a huge bake potato and a salad bar. Me and my friends decided to grab a bite to eat after the 4th of July Fireworks and I am soooooo glad my yelp family helped me find this place. Based on the reviews I had to try the pizza and I ended up getting a half Tejas half Robusto pizza. I believe I have found my favorite pizza. The Tejas is sooooo good. I didn't want to share my pizza but shared it anyways to allow my friends to taste it and they all agreed. It is good. It is Great! It is probably one of the best pizzas I have tasted. Giving this place 5 stars. Oh and grab a Hammerhead beer. Pairs well. read more

Cant really see the novelty in this place, just another sports pub (and I say pub cause that's partially what its trying to be.) Parking is questionable, and the scenery on the patio isn't anything special. You get the feeling that if you're not a regular or in a regular group they could'nt care less. Love the fact that you can boat up here and I can bring my dog. The pizzas are really good, although I stick to ceviche or pickle chips mostly. The picnic tables outside are shareable. Fans, music, view of the sunset make this an enjoyable summer dining spot. Private parking lot is usually packed so ride together when coming here. Same with the boats there are limited spaces to dock up so plan accordingly. read more

Boondoggle's has a great beer selection and nice happy hour drink specials (they make a pretty mean Bloody Mary). Found this place on a Saturday afternoon after kayaking. I love to sit at the bar, drink a few brews and then order a pizza. The pizzas range from typical to unique, I have sampled the Tejas, Robusto and Jambalya, all quality and tasty. By far the most extensive beer selection in the Seabrook/El Lago area, Amazing pizza, decent sandwiches, and OK appetizers. The Jambalaya Pizza is the best thing on the menu. The service is always a hit or miss though, so don't let the waitstaff be the deciding factor on this place. read more

Best beer selection in Clear Lake, great pizza, and the wife likes their salads - so win, win, win. I would like to give Boondoggles a 2 thumbs up. My fiance and I went there for their Happy Hour and we sat at the bar. It was a fun experience, the food was great. He had the meatball sandwich and I had a chicken pico de gallo sandwhich which was excellent. I like the cozy, cute home town feel of the restaurant. It is one of the best restaurants that we've found in Nassau Bay area. I like the low key, fun atmosphere. We will definitely be going back. read more
