Boonsee Paradise - very good, very hot and very crispy

There was a constant stream of customers in and out. We will definitely all back. The food came out quickly and was super hot. Both of the dishes were excellent.

Came here on a random day ! - Service: The girl who served our table is very friendly and welcoming so I like her energy though the food takes a bit long ( I ordered fried fish and crying tiger) it took 15-20mins for the food and the restaurant only has our table but because of how welcoming the girl is, I'm okay with it. And when I checkout there is no bill for me to check but the amount sounds right so im ok with it - Food: The food is really good! Though there are few items that sold out like mango sticky rice or spicy salmon, prob a few more but in overall the food that I ordered is tasty - Ambiance: Everything looks organized and clean

Been to this local thai place many times. We enjoy the pad see ew, glass noodles ( pad woo sen) Tom kha soup. Recently tried the Golden tofu and green curry. I'm adding those to my favorites and go to items. The service is usually pretty good, could be a bit better. The inside is usually kept pretty clean.

I came here around 1130am to grab lunch Togo. The plaza has a good amount of parking and the restaurant is located in a corner. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant and it wasn't busy during the time I went. The restaurant is decent and clean. I ordered the pad Thai lunch special which comes with a side salad and veggie egg roll with dipping sauce. The lunch special was about $14. It was a good portion for the pad Thai & I like that they gave me the spices on the side so I can adjust the spice level. I also ordered a papaya salad and that always hits the spot at any Thai restaurant I go to. I also had plenty of leftovers and literally took me 2 tries to finish the whole meal with help from my husband when he got home. Will definitely be back to try their other items.

Best Thai in Corona/Norco! Don't miss out on delicious and affordable Thai food! Their curry is so flavorful and not terribly spicy. Just enough spice to help fight a cold.

We have been coming here since 2023 and slowly just started going down hill. we ordered tom yum soup and got 2 shrimps, mind you it is $2 extra so i guess $1 each per small shrimp, the soup itself tasted too sweet and no sourness to it like its supposed to, got crying tiger and they completely missed the toasted rice powder, the meat was completely raw in the middle, and also they gave us the bottom of the lettuce with the bud on, so gross not edible, and the older gentleman who seems like the owner that works there is just extremely rude to customers. zero customer service at all. food is so so, not sure how they got over 1k reviews..... our families will not be retuning.

Would recommend this Thai food restaurant! Cute and nicely decorated spot with lots of room to dine in and enjoy the food. The service is great, and amicable. Tried the chicken Pad See Ew, it was a good sized portion, and had super good flavor, didn't have as much broccoli as I would've liked, but delicious nonetheless. The mango sticky rice was also really good, the texture of the rice was perfect and the coconut sauce was rich and complimented the mango so well.

Yellow Curry and Chinese Broccoli. Each comes with a side of rice. You can choose between Jasmine or brown.

I was impressed by how attentive the 2 waiters were and how quickly our food came. It felt like we barely sat down and our drinks, appetizer, and main course came one after the other in quick succession. The plastic covers on our boba drinks were cute and the waitress even helped us stab our straws into them. The food was tasty and the portions were big enough for us to have leftovers to take home. Since it's at a strip mall tucked away in a corner away from the street, it might be easy to miss, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Food tasted good. Would def come back. For some reason it was already 2pm and it got all busy so food was coming in slow and it was only one server which we understand and they forgot some of our orders but we were understanding just cause it was only one person catering to all and we got full already too. Was not able to take a pic of all the food but we loved it here. Def recommend. Love the mango sticky rice and riblet.

Ordered to go and it was pretty large portions. Pad Thai with pork was spicy, in a good way. There are some pad thai that's sweet and some are salty, this is more on the sweeter side but the spice balances it out very well. They also use real crab in the crab fry rice, very tasty! The egg rolls however were just decent. It's good but somehow it's so doughy inside where it seem uncooked, but I think that's just how it is. Overall it's a good Thai place to eat or order from!

Bad shrimp tails clearly rotting and smell.
    Jeremy S.

At first, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the orange chicken it wasn't soggy, had a nice flavor, and there was just the right amount of sauce. The white rice was also good. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse with the Pad Thai. I paid extra to add shrimp, but the shrimp was spoiled. I ate one before realizing it, and immediately noticed the bad smell and started feeling stomach discomfort. The tails of the shrimp were clearly rotted, which was very concerning. It was even more frustrating to think I had paid extra for this. I'm open to trying new places and usually enjoy giving them a chance, but it's really disappointing when I end up having to leave a review like this.

I spent around $77 including tip which was 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 3 main plates. Actually, they don't have just a side of fried rice, so we were forced to buy it as a main plate. Everything tastes good. I just finished my leftovers and I'm already craving the noodles since they were so soft. The restaurant is clean and modern with big windows and an outdoor patio. If it weren't so hot (We came on a 100F day) it looked like a nice place to eat under the umbrellas. I accidentally spilled a jar of hot sauce which for some reason had a loose removable lid and one of the waitresses was quick to clean it up for us. She was nice about it, too, like she could've easily copped an attitude with us about it, but didn't. A man next to us said he accidentally did the same thing which makes me think they need to find a different container for that sauce. There's a huge parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. However, the area directly in front of the restaurant and the other shops near it were sectioned off with yellow caution tape for some reason and my sister said it looked like a murder scene, which made me laugh. I'm fairly sure that wasn't the case, but I don't know why they did it. The only reason I knew the restaurant was open for business was because I saw people eating inside through the windows.

The banchan was delicious and had a nice variety, including radish stem kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soybean paste with nuts, fried eggplant, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We started with the fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with really tasty filling. The soybean stew was packed with flavor and had potatoes, onions, and zucchini--super comforting. The short ribs were juicy and flavorful, especially with a side of rice. The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. Even the salad was good, with a dressing that wasn't too overpowering. They serve hot barley tea and water, and you can buy canned soft drinks if you want something else. Everything we had was delicious--honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Prices were fair, and the customer service was great. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. This restaurant is great for groups of all sizes. We'll definitely be back to try more items.

Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

However, I recently read their reviews and laughed that they give straight peanut butter as a dipping sauce for their spring rolls. That is a big no-no. Anywho, I was going to do takeout and drive home to eat because I had my dogs with me, but after I ordered I saw there was a table outside so I decided to stay. I ordered their salmon special with garlic noodles, spring rolls, and a vietnamese coffee. Total was $33 and I was able to split the portions for lunch and dinner. When I entered I did not speak vietnamese and neither was the employee in the front aware I was viet. After I paid and didn't leave a tip, she said something in vietnamese about either giving me a smaller portion because I didn't leave a tip or just complaining about not receiving a tip. Once I got my food and said thank you in vietnamese, the employee in the front got real quiet. Lmao I sat outside with the fur babies and enjoyed my salmon. It was flavorful but noodles were kind of dry. The spring rolls came in 2. They add avocado, tofu, and jicima in addition to other ingredients. This isn't your traditional spring roll. I can also confirm that dipping sauce is straight peanut butter with not even enough water mixed in to make the texture smooth. Its like getting a cup of peanut butter that is watery on the top and dry and chunky from the middle down. A sauce like this will not be acceptable in the vietnamese community down in Bolsa. Haha! The coffee was also only okay, didn't finish it. I dont think I would drive out of my way to eat here.
