The button to change SMS had no connection so I randomly picked from Google Store what "seemed" legitimate. But all it did was welcome a circus of junk on my phone. Anyhow, my dependable phone turned I to a highway of ads and other gnats. I needed to squash this as my own efforts were not cutting it. Such a small thing turned into a tangled mess. So I went into the store at about 5pm ish on 6/9 and this young lady approached me as it was my turn. I waited about 20 minutes. That's fine. They are busy people! I told her what was wrong and as she was helping another lady. The team member unraveled my little disaster as it seems this was easy stuff to this team member. I left so happy. Everything went smoothly. The team was busy and I didn't get the feeling that you or I or us were being ignored. No. You got the feeling they are there to assist. I went to the store and the associate working at the time gave me 3 other options, none of them matching what I was told on the phone. When I asked when Thomas was working, the associate completely shut down and got an attitude with me. I came back when Thomas was working and he was able to provide me with what he offered on the phone. I received my newest bill online and when I checked the details, I discovered a new line was added to my account. I never asked or approved a new line. The store manager is now telling me it's a digital number that was added and not another line. This is ridiculous. I will never step foot in this store again.

Made a comment on the phone being "economy" as if it was less than. The staff also seemed completely unprepared to answer basic questions about the phones and plans. I typically buy refurbished phones off eBay, but this time I saw an ad online saying support small…read morebusinesses, and I decided why not, let me give it a shot. I walked in and the buying process was as smooth as it could have been. The refurbished phone was a bit scratched up but seemed to work fine. Two hours later the back of the refurbished phone (iPhone) was peeling off. For me it was a bad sign (if the back of the phone was already peeling off, what else will break? It just seemed like shotty work). I went back for a refund as the phone did not seem to be in good condition. I was told that there would be a restocking fee... fine. Then they told me they were doing me a "favor" by accepting my return, and that within the 3 hours that I was gone they sold my trade-in device. Note that there was no signage in the store, or on my receipt stating that there wasn't a refund policy. So because of how "complicated" the transaction was I was only able to be refunded for the actual money that was paid (I completely lost my trade-in; I said that he had no problem assigning a cash value for it earlier in the transaction. I was basically told that there was not enough margin for him to refund me the agreed upon trade-in value? ). I would not recommend doing business here.

DO NOT COME HERE! This is not truly a Verizon store!…read more I had the worst experience ordering a mobile hotspot here. I came in on a Sunday and placed the order and picked it up Wednesday. I asked the store rep here to activate it in store to confirm that it worked. He could not get it working and sent me with it to the true Verizon corporate store on route 1 across from Target. I should have gone to this legit corporate store to begin with. At the corporate store, they confirmed that the hotspot I received from the 1230 Ave location was defective and provided me with a new hotspot that was set up in less than 10 minutes. Then I had to return the original hotspot to the original location 1230 Newport Ave )because the true Verizon store could not process a return from this third party retailer) and had the WORST experience. It was a HUGE hassle where even the store rep was hung up on and disconnected repeatedly while attempting to process the return with the other company reps. Everything required multiple approval codes and calls and escalations. I wasted so much time at this store when I could have just done everything at the true, corporate location on route 1. Despite the Verizon signs everywhere, be advised that this 1230 Newport Ave location is not actually a true Verizon store with full service capabilities. While the reps here tried to be helpful this was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a cell phone store and would completely discourage anyone from even setting foot inside this store! Even the rep was super frustrated with his own company! It took literally over an hour to process a return and it was extremely frustrating that even the store reps could not work with their corporate contacts and system. I wrote this whole review while living through this hellish experience. AVOID this place and go to the corporate location on Route 1. This was the worst!

He told me and even wrote down that my bill would increase $20-25. But today when I logged into my account my new bill will actually increase close to $100. The customer service rep I talked to from Verizon was very helpful in explaining everything that Joe did not. Just a disappointing experience.
