This place fucking sucks the owner is an absolute child. If you take your car to him he will literally argue with you saying that he wants it his way or the highway. And on top of that he will have other people in his shop but him even though he said it was going to be him working on your car and end up fucking it up and cause a huge fire. I would second think bringing your car here and do more research about this bozo this guy is disrespectful and absolutely unprofessional. You're better off sourcing the parts on your own and doing it on your own if not go find a different shop that actually cares and will actually listen to what you have to say. I recently brought my 91 GVR4 to Boostin for maintenance and a tune. I can say that absolutely everyone was amazing. Andrew was great and communicative in scheduling my initial visit and was clear with the process and expectations. A couple of days before my visit, Kristin called to go over my concerns and what I wanted addressed during the visit. On the days of the appointment Andrew was great at relaying all information and delivering accurate expectations and timeframes. Devon did an amazing job with the work and the tune and, when I got the car back, it was like a whole new car. I ended up contacting them for a follow up and once again was impressed with how they were able to work me in to their busy schedule to address an issue that had popped up. It ended up being unrelated to the original visit and yet they still were able to get it addressed right away, and now the car drives even better than after the first visit! This visit I was able to personally meet Devon and talked with Brian as well while I waited. I can very honestly say that the entire team is incredible! Just moved to Wisconsin from Arizona and was in need of a good tuner. Read lots of great things about boostin and saw them on 1320 with their red demon dsm so I knew that's where I wanted to go. All they care about is their own wallets. Been dealing with them for well over a year now. Been nothing but run arounds and screw overs. Making me buy stuff I really don't need. Been trying to get my car into the shop for over a year now after I spent over $20,000 getting a motor bill and buying every thing I need to go eights are better through them. Sent them my exhaust manifold to be ceramic coated two winters ago. Quick turn around, good looks, and it's held up great.

I sent my injectors for cleaning, the staff took me through out the complete process and presented me with options at the end when i found out that 4 out of 6 injectors are bad. Buyer beware. I had a project car, had them swap the clutch for a 8leg 1/4 master... the "Lost" the ACT clutch that came out of the car. Core deposit? Lol I ate a balance shaft bearing shortly after, not sure why.... but then they rebuilt the motor... so now I have a "new" rebuild that has all types of valve noises.... I'm lucky they didn't leave a screw in the motor. 2nd infraction, they took my gauge holders off my steering column "cause another car needed them" had to wait for them to take them off the car and put them back on my car. 3rd infraction, had the car into them to put in a Shep trans after I bit a curb and damaged the front fenders.... when I got the car back it barely ran. But they were able to drive it fine.... really? 4th infraction, after the car was finished at the body shop I had them clean the injectors, they installed a 4 bar Omni map sensor and let it dangle below the intake mani like a worthless part. Didn't even bother to mount it on the intake mani they sold me. Then they said they put it on the dyno and everything was fine... I barely made it home. (Front damper was damaged, it would have ripped off their dyno if they ran it, but they still ran it on the dyno right?) 5th infraction- I told them about a whining noise either the tCase or the rear end... when I pick it up the whine was still there, rear end was rebuilt, they told me the whine was gone... turns out he TCase was real low on fluid and now it's no bueno... bam, more money gone. 6th infraction- had idle trouble after the map sensor was replaced and ripped the tune. Straight lines all over the graph, no wonder it stalled out when coming to stop lights.. it's like they never even drove it.... at all, after a trans swap, 0 road time.... Enough is enough, find another shop.... these guys know how to get you... i like how you respond as if you had no idea you lost my clutch. I asked several times, and you the shop just shrugged and said " we'll look into it " never once offered a resolution. BEWARE, they may have a fast car, but they do NOT care about your car, only your wallet. read more

I'm finally getting around to giving this shop the props it deserves. I had the pleasure of getting my 2010 EVO X worked on by the team at Boostin Performance after a direct referral from AMS in west Chicago . I originally just needed some Coil Over work done but while there I inquired about a possible Turbo upgrade. Sysco who mans the front recommended some sick mods to also go along with the new turbo and tune. It already had the STX400 package so making it feel quicker was his challenge. He was a true professional and facilitated the ordering and install of all parts. I haven't personally seen Devin but I know he's the wizard behind the magic. I truly can't wait to see what we do next!! My car is quick but not quick enough ! Going forward they are the only ones allowed to tune my car. I was looking for a shop that was knowledgable in working with Mitsubishi Evos. Boostin Performance was highly reviewed on the Evo forums and I felt confident they could help tune my car. My first experience there was a great one! The staff was very friendly...so was the shop dog! Their shop is very clean with an impressive collection of cars. All I can say is, they live up to their name and beyond. The entire staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Their work is masterful, phenomenal in every aspect of knowing exactly what plans and procedures you need to take to make the most out of your vehicles needs. Tuning by Devon is like no other. This is a follow up review. I have to say I am really disappointed on my 3 visits. The first review was only there because they give you 25 dollars off your next visit, If you leave a review and of coarse your not leaving a negative review. After my 3rd time being there and 2 tunes and paying for a boost test leak. My results were 270whp. These parts came off the same wrx that made 318 whp. and tuned by Boostin Performance. I have the dyno sheets. I was told my car wont make more power this is the max and I was told to use better gas. I am happy with the power but know there is room for more. Now after my car was tuned the last time my car blows tons of smoke. A brand new car with only 20,000 miles hmmm. After a ton of headaches and taking my car in to sell and than started to take parts off, I discover a long neck vice grips closing off my pvc line. Boostin was the last one to work on my car. I removed the vice grips and no more smoke. After talking to Boostin on the phone they denied that it was any of there mechanics. I got the impression they blamed me and my mechanic. vice grips are mac tools, my mechanic has all Snap ON Tools, but they still tell me they are not from them. Yeah talking to your mechanics who would admit to that anyways 25 dollar pair of vice grips or risking your job. You do the math. I tell them well I'm getting nowhere its my word against your word and they tell yep. I tell them I'm keeping the vice grips and he says I figured you would. You guys cost me a lot of headaches and you guys make me wait extra long on my first appointment to squeeze someone else in and the second time I say on the phone I need my check engine light fixed and I like more dyno time and you tell me we will see what we can do and than when I get there mind you 2 and a half hour drive, and you guys tell me I never asked for any dyno time shame on you. Than the 3rd time pinch off my air line and tell me u didn't. If you people want to be lied to than u guys came to the right place. If it was there car this would of never happened. Thanks for almost blowing my car up and oh yeah and ruining my afr sensor from all the smoke. Don't worry I believe in karma and you guys will have your turn all of you. My mechanic is spreading the word and my 3 buddies that were waiting for my end results are not going to be calling you.
