We just held my daughter's bridal shower at Bora Bora's Brunch N Bar. Valerie did an outstanding job and added a few personal touches to the food to coordinate with the theme. The food was displayed so beautifully, it was hot and delicious. The wait staff was fantastic, the food was replenished as it got low so it was always hot. Our guests felt very welcomed and were so pleased with the food and service. If you're looking for a spot to hold an event, I would highly recommend giving Valerie a call.

I just had brunch at Bora Bora Brunch & Bar. I can't explain how wonderful everything was. The service was great and the food was fantastic & the atmosphere was fun and friendly. The Monte Cristo was delicious, the jam had just the right mixture of berries, it left me wanting more. The Chicken & Waffels were so good the chicken was delicious a tender but crisp crust with moist chicken inside paired with the special chipotle type fruit jam. Yum, and the Pork Cuban one of the best I've had. We enjoyed our meal so much we're havi my daughte's bridal shower there. I am so looking forward to working with Valerie & Bear as they prepare a special brunch menu for her special day!

    Greatness

I ordered the ribeye this time but have tried the filet, an chatobriegn a few times and both of those are delicious. My woman loved the scallops. The lobster cargo is amazing as well. They have a nice musician playing good music while there and the feel is an old-timey vibe which is really nice. Made me feel like the Godfather.

Nice bread basket. Handmade table-side Caesar salad $17 for four servings. Good French onion soup, chops and lobster tail. The sour cream for the baked potato contained fresh cut chive. Delicious. CONS: Weird parking, seating cramped like sardines. Saturday evening dining room was LOUD! Could barely converse. Food is expensive: Tomahawk steak $90+. Ribeye $55+. New York Strip $50+. Most everything was ala carte. Disappointed that the Sander's hot fudge cream puff did not contain hot fudge anywhere near the taste and quality of the old Sanders recipe. Cream puff was stale too. A strong seafood smell permeated the entire restaurant. SUMMARY: Mr. Paul's Chophouse is a REAL restaurant for those special occasions. Total East side. Food is very good but not "great". Eat here for the old school vibe. Kudo's to the owners that keep it going.

A frustrating experience when I came to lunch with several friends, there were 10 or us. The…read moreservice is just so slow it is maddening. This isn't slow like - just relax - you're here with friends - it's slow like - is anyone ever going to take our order, bring us a drink or bring us our food? It's pretty irritating to sit at a table with nothing on it and wait for anyone to come by and ask us what we want to drink. Then when we finally did order a drink - (waters, beers, pops & coffees), where are they and where is she? Finally she returns with drinks - disappears again. Everyone is getting mad - we just want to order some food. Once our food order is placed we wait again a lot more. The food came out in shifts - poor kitchen management? I don't know. I ordered the Southwest Eggrolls that sounded delicious, but when they finally showed up they were undercooked and awful. I was finally able to send them back and the waitress promised they'd be cooked some more. In the meantime food was slowly coming out. One of the guests meal literally came after everyone was finally done eating - not kidding. Poor guy sat there and watched all of us eat - he was a saint. Waitress kept promising it was 'almost ready'. My eggrolls came back out - still not good. I just decided not to eat them. No one was happy when we left. This is my second try here, I won't be back. Several others commented that this place is always slow - so I think they won't be back either. They just lost 10 diners.

Pretty solid place for a BYO burger option…read more I like all the options they offer....multiple proteins, buns, toppings and sauces. Everything was well prepared, meat temps were correct, buns were toasted and toppings were plentiful. If anything, you may want to be cautious on the BYO toppings because things can get sloppy if you add too many. We loved our apps as well, boneless wings and pretzels. Will definitely be back

World's End was a decent bar/restaurant that was mostly known for its burgers. The service was…read morefriendly and efficient. The cheese sticks were above average. The fall out fries were the move over the regular fries. The serving size was enough for 2 people. The side salad was run-of-the-mill. I ordered a medium rare, 1/2 lb bison burger on a brioche bun with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, and bourbon ketchup. It ending up being rare instead of medium rare, and had fried (crispy) onions instead of caramelized. My wife crafted her own mac and cheese. After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. To say the least, I wasn't surprised to hear World's End closed. Had it not, I would have given it another chance.

The menu includes crafted burgers, even a healthy turkey burger, salmon, and one of the most amazing selections of beer in the area.
