Finally tried this place out. It's a new Filipino cafe that just opened. Got the food to go. I got the Lumpia (chicken) garlic rice bowl. You get a choice of steam rice or garlic. Lumpia and garlic rice had exceptional flavor. I also got the Ube-matcha drink. It wasn't too sweet. Just right. I forgot to take a picture of it. I will probably make another trip back to try their other bowls and drinks. If you're looking to try some Filipino rice bowls check this place out. My husband saw that there was a new cafe in the area. After dinner, we dropped by to grab some specialty drinks. It was a Saturday night, and we rushed there before they closed at 6 pm. Parking is tight and few near this place. I had to drop off my family so that they could order before they closed. We were lucky that they were still preparing some other customer's drinks and took our orders. We ordered the Ube matcha iced latte, the Oreo cheese brown sugar ice latte, and the Ube taro milk tea. The place was clean, and the decor was really cute. There was a shelf with so many cute Hello Kitty and boboa drink plushies to buy. There was plenty of space for customers to sit at a table and enjoy your drink or food. I loved the beautifully decorated selfie wall with purple couch to sit on. Also, if you are hungry you can order rice bowls: Lumpia Shanghai or hot silog (fried hot dog), long silog (chicken or pork longanisa sausage), tosilog (chicken or pork tocino), tapsilog (marinated beef). All of these bowls comes with steamed rice, fried eggs and green onion, chopped veggies and fried garlic. Or you can try the different types of fried rice: Spam, Spam with kimchi or sausage fried rice. There are other types of drinks to order as well other than milk teas and iced lattes; you can get fruit teas or smoothies, plus there's various toppings. It didn't take too long to have our drinks prepared. Overall, we had a great first-time experience here. You can get a Loyalty card too; buy 10 drinks and get one free. read more

Came on a Saturday afternoon and they were serving classic Filipino breakfast dishes and Filipino flavored drinks with some twists. I ordered a chicken longanisa bowl and an ube matcha drink. The bowl had extremely nostalgic and classic Filipino flavors, reminiscent of breakfasts with my grandparents. The drink was a nice large size but I wished for a little more matcha flavor since the ube was very dominant. Unsure if they've had their grand opening now, but at that time it might have been only their soft opening. Was confused about the name of the cafe since it's definitely not a Tagalog word although they were definitely serving Filipino food. Receiving my order took a bit and there was one couple who came in after me that dined in. Their food came before my single bowl & drink order to go. The lady working the counter didn't know the menu well and had to consult one of the Filipino workers in the back to answer my question regarding the lumpia. Would have ordered more if the lumpia had a vegetarian option. They may want to consider offering a few vegetarian options since their cafe is located in close proximity to Loma Linda. All in all, good food and drink from what I had. Will come back eventually once I have another craving for classic Filipino breakfast. read more

Came here 3 weeks since they've opened and I think that this place has a lot of potential. I got a Tapailog bowl here and a Okinawa Milk tea with boba&cheese foam. My mom got a Ube milk tea. We appreciated how friendly the workers were when we came& the items came out fairly quickly. The ambiance here is very nice and I like how they have plenty of space for friends& families to hang out! The bowl is very filling and was one of my favorite items I had. Clean establishment but walking in we smelled an off putting odor (strong sewer smell) Service was ok nothing special. Took a while to get the food ( I didn't mind) but if you're on a time schedule I wouldn't recommend coming here. We paid almost 40 dollars for 2 bowls (this includes garlic rice upgrade and 20% tip). Based on that price I was expecting this to be the best bowl I've ever had and I was hugely disappointed. Both of the bowls in general were very bland. Garlic rice upgrade =bland and tastes like regular steamed white rice Chicken Lumpia= dry and flavorless Eggs = are eggs (can't mess that up) Marinated beef = was just ok nothing special (waba has better beef) Overall I can make this at home and have it taste better. I don't think the food is worth the price I definitely won't be back. read more

Dirk, Eddie, and Eddie Junior had excellent customer service. They take time and detail in making their food and drinks which is worth the wait! The HaloHalo Smoothie brought me back to the nostalgia of Philippines! I must say it is the best one I have had in a while! I also tried the Tapsilog and it was tasty. Solid food! Love that they provide the vinegar on the side and you get a good amount for what you pay.

I grew up eating Filipino food and their rice bowls exceeded my expectations. I got the tapsilog bowl: beef was tender and well-marinated, garlic rice was flavorful, eggs were perfectly over-easy, and atchara and vinegar were a very nice addition. Not worth it! There was a powdery taro after taste left in my mouth. My mom tried ordering multiple drinks but for each drink there was an ingredient missing/ran out. If you're going to run a boba shop at least have every ingredient or put a sign saying you ran out of that particular drink!! Okay. I appreciate the effort they are making to open a new restaurant, but I really think they need to think about their operations. We ordered a coffee and a rice bowl. Number one: the coffee did come out first, but it took 40 minutes - they were kind of busy but they seem to just handle food and drink orders in order but it seems like drink orders should come earlier than 40 minutes. Then the food itself took another 15 minutes after that. We literally waited for almost an HOUR to get our food. It would have been nice to get a little bit of a heads up they were running so far behind. It didn't seem like anyone there minded waiting so long, which I guess is fine, but we had no clue this is how it would be. The food itself, also: we ordered a chicken bowl - the menu made it sound like it would have a number of ingredients. It was literally just rice, some chicken sausages, and eggs. And a little side garnish of chopped tomato and onion. Extremely plain stuff. I cannot understand the high reviews except perhaps it's friends and family? Look, I hope these guys succeed, they seem sincere and are trying, but for us this was not a great experience. read more
