I'm new to cigars, I basically knew nothing about cigars when I first entered this place. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They aren't pushy and try to sell you anything over-priced. Plus it helps that most of the sticks they sell at this place are reasonably priced. The location is also a bar, which is a nice addition, it helps to promote the whole feeling of relaxation while you light up a cigar. Also, some spirits just pair well with certain cigars. They have plenty of large leather chairs/recliner type seats to sit and relax in with many flat screen tvs adorning the walls all around. They also have a small patio area in the back to smoke at just in case you prefer smoking outdoors. Overall I would suggest this place to any new cigar smokers. I cannot speak for those of you who have been to many cigar shops/bars though. read more

Aside from Derek and the other courteous and tentative help the cool thing about this place is you can actually order ALCOHOL and there is no shortage of big screen TVs to watch the game. About five or six years ago I went to the location in Torrance, and was very pleased with the lounge and staff there. Since then I've never been back because I'm not from the area, but I'm trying to kill some time before the Ducks game and visited this location and I'm still very pleased. Walked in because I had a bit of time to burn, so I didn't enjoy a full stay. Still, I felt very welcomed by who I now believe to be Bo himself and his female associate. He directed me towards the modestly sized humi and RESPECTFULLY asked if I was looking for anything in particular. Such a loaded question, and a really great way of testing the waters of any potential customer, and he was totally understanding of my response, which was an equally respectful way of saying I was just window shopping. After a few minutes, I walked out of the humidor, and he asked if I saw anything I liked. Little bit of chit-chat, and an invite to come back anytime (they closed at 11:00 PM that night). Prices are wild, but not out of the norm for a cigar lounge. Definitely the nicest I've visited, even if the selection isn't as varied. read more
