We came to town for my daughter's bachelorette week and loved this place so much we came 3 times for brunch! Loved sitting outside and listening to live music. Food is great, drinks even better and service was fabulous every visit. We recommend: Avocado toast Weekender sandwich breakfast burrito Any coffee drinks!

My girlfriend and I went here for brunch on a Saturday. It was very crowded so we got lucky with two seats open at the bar. Bartender was attentive, but not so friendly. I ordered huevos rancheros and it was just okay, not at all what I expected on how it was plated and it didn't have a lot of flavor. Chicken was good though. My girlfriend had the breakfast burrito and said it was great. Prices are a little high but it's Old Town, so expected. Ambiance is nice and people watching is always fun!

Tried this spot for a quick brunch bite and ordered the grilled jalapeño chicken sandwich with fries. Unfortunately, the meal didn't seem fresh or served hot.The atmosphere is nice and the service was decent, but the food itself was subpar in my opinion.

We had a great time here on Wednesday night for a book club get together. There was live acoustic music that was very good. We sat outside on the back patio. It is a large patio with plenty of seating. I like how they lined the area with plants to give privacy from the street and sidewalk. It was half of bottles of wine that evening which made ot more enjoyable. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I hade the fish tacos with their homemade chips and dip on the side. The food tasted fresh with great flavoring. It came out fast. We shated the key lime pie dessert jar which was also very tasty. It was a great experience with a very nice menu.

The Montauk has always been my go-to place in Old Town, whether it be for brunch, lunch, dinner or grabbing drinks with friends. If you're ordering food, the homemade chips and dips are always a must and the Hampton Water Rose is the perfect drink. The Montauk gives all the Hampton vibes with its unique designs and upscale, beachy vibes. Unfortunately, they don't take reservations and the restaurant is usually always busy. However, it's always worth it and the service is always great. When you find a delicious, local, consistent spot, you always want to go. The Montauk is that and more!

The staff welcomed our bridal party with open arms! The bride to be had a wonderful time and all of us loved the food. Brunch and dinner both have different vibes but the ambiance for brunch was great and music wasn't too loud. Recommend

The food was great. The service took a little longer than I would have expected it to - it wasn't busy enough to justify our wait, but the food was worth it. The atmosphere was noisy but upbeat. There wasn't anything spectacular about the experience, except for our server's sunny disposition.

Mediterranean platter with steak kebab what's nicely portioned and has a good variety of sides but the flavors were a bit muted. The steak was prepared perfectly almost medium rare, 2 skewers of 4 small cubes and the bread was great.

From start to finish, this place took my breath away. The decor is so stunning and ties together a beautiful cohesive theme. We were seated quickly due to our reservation. It was so difficult trying to figure out what to order, it all sounded amazing! We had ordered so many different items and made sure to share. My personal favorite would be the fish tacos and Mac and cheese. They both had such well rounded flavors that I wanted another bite of. This was the perfect location to celebrate the bride with class.

The atmosphere is amazing, but the food is not. The devil egg appetizer was disappointing. The eggs were very small (about half the size of a standard egg). Humiliating lack of bacon. The lobster roll was okay, nothing to write home about. The fries were very mid, tasted almost stale in a weird way. My favorite part of this meal were the crispy Brussels spouts. My friend and I came at 5pm and service was incredibly slow. I will not be coming back

I enjoyed my 8/23/25 late brunch experience at the Montauk but overall found it to be overpriced. There was free parking wrapped around the building and indoor and outdoor misted patio seating; to avoid a long wait time, we opted for the patio. Service was quick and attentive, and I ordered the Breakfast Biscuit Sandwich (canadian bacon, over easy egg, sweet butter, American cheese, mayo, side of crispy potatoes) and House Potato Chips (parmesan, truffle oil, french onion dip). Both of my foods were tasty, but I can't get over the fact that chips cost $11... and a simple biscuit was $13... I tried my friends' frozen Strawberry frose (Segura Viudus Brut Rose, Grey Goose Essences, Strawberry & Lemongrass vodka, strawberry) which tasted basically like a strawberry daiquiri and was pretty small for $15 (I estimate it was about 10 oz). Overall good experience, but I don't see myself itching to come back unless specifically invited by loved ones.

Came to the montauk on Monday right at opening around 10:30 I believe. The staff were all so sweet and adorable . Great choice in the girls uniforms! They are so cute! Sweatshirts are definitely great quality too. Lol.. I started out with the peppermint mocha latte. It was the best I've ever had! Can't wait to try again so hopefully it's on the menu long enough for me to. Had the fish tacos. They were good but just slightly bland. I guess cod tends to be that way at most places. It taste like cod. Nonetheless I enjoyed them with some tasty fries. My guest had a chicken sandwich, he devoured it in seconds! I can't wait to return and try a lobster roll and on a day with live music! I'm glad I decided to check the place out during my birthday week. Montauk made the list of restaurant number 2 to try out of 5.

OK I hadn't been here for a while. And it's changed. We stopped by for Happy Hour and found a DJ playing at 3:30. Evidently she starts at noon. It was pretty loud but they were doing a good business. It's definitely geared toward a younger crowd. The food is still good but our beers were far from cold and had short fills. Service was good but this will be our last time at The Montauk.

Honestly, I have no idea how it got those reviews. Maybe they're paid, I'm not sure, but based on my experience I would not go back. The biggest issue was the service. We arrived and were told to sit anywhere we wanted. After sitting down, we waited about 20 minutes and no one ever came to our table. No greeting, no water, nothing. Eventually I had to walk up to the bar and ask what the procedure was. Do we order at the bar? Do you have table service? No one could give a clear answer. They just kept saying, "If you want, you can order here." That's not the point. If I sit down at a restaurant, I expect someone to come to the table and explain how things work or take our order. If the system is that you order at the bar, just say that clearly so people know what to do. The drinks were also very mediocre. Nothing special at all. Honestly, they tasted like something you could throw together at home with soda, alcohol, and ice. The surprising part is that the food was actually phenomenal. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. The dishes were delicious and probably the best part of the entire experience. But great food alone isn't enough to make me return somewhere with poor service and forgettable drinks. My recommendation is don't waste your time on a Sunday brunch. There are plenty of other brunch spots with good food and good service.

I liked the look and vibes of the place and decided we needed to circle back through here before the night was over. After dinner we explored the Scottsdale nightlife and decide to end our night here. The vibe was completely different later in the night. This time we had to go through bouncers. The lounge itself is absolutely stunning. They have an indoor space that is beautifully decorated with lots of different seating options. They have an open air concept with one side open to the rooftop pool deck. The bartenders and staff were scantily clad which definitely had gentleman hanging at the bar too long. That meant long waits to get a drink. For a place that looks so upscale, I was disappointed in the drinks. Online they talk about a next level mixology experience and that was not our experience. We got cocktails served in plastic cups that cost just as much or even more than some high end cocktail bars I have been to. It's kind of what is expected in Scottsdale though. Service at the bar was not quick, instead quite the opposite where we had to flag down a bartender who was chatting with someone else who worked there for a while and was also occupied with his phone at other times. I also was quite surprised to see that cocktails were $20! I know it's the W but that is pretty pricey. Also note that this is considered the pool area so the drinks are served in plastic cups. Aside from that, I like the space and atmosphere and had a nice time sitting in one of the couch areas which I assume are the VIP areas during pool hours.

The shrimp cerviche with fried plantains, blue corn tortilla chips, lime, cilantro and cucumber pico de gallo was ok but not remarkable. Our final selection was the Gaucho spiced skirt steak with chimichurri, and masa potato cakes. The steak was overcooked, not medium rare, bland taste and tough. The potato cake was tasteless.
