Our table had poured and downed almost all of the water in the carafe before I noticed a small black beetle submerged at the bottom of it. When I told the server, he replaced it, but didn't give everyone new glasses. Only me. My friend ordered a wrap and asked for it to be gluten free. The person who brought the food told her that it was gluten free. The server, who had taken the order, came back and told her it wasn't gluten free. I used to get so excited to relax with a cocktail and eat healthy delicious food when dining at Farm & Craft. I am wondering if they are under new management- the service is not what it used to be. I asked at the walk up counter to order a gin and cucumber cocktail- not on the menu but says they have a full bar. I was directed to order my food and then go and order a drink at the bar. Walked over to the bar, bartender was ringing someone out for patiently waited my turn. He made eye contact and then proceeded to clean the latte machine. When I saw him pick up counter cleaner, I asked if I could order a drink. I started to explain what I wanted. He repeated menu items, I asked if he could only make drinks in the menu. He said no. I asked for a cucumber, gin drink and he then started to rattle off items on the menu. I walked away and didn't order a drink. What a great spot! I am so thankful yelp guided me to F&C when we were scrambling to find a casual dinner spot for a group of 7 during Spring Training on a Friday that wouldnt be an hour+ wait. I stumbled upon this place with my daughter while we were looking for a place to have lunch and it was really a hidden gem for us! As soon as we walked in, a handsome young man greeted us warmly and guided us through our first visit. He was super kind and welcoming and we really appreciated him. I had an OpenTable reservation, yet when I arrived, I learned they don't take lunch reservations. It's an order-at-the-counter setup where you grab your own water, pick a seat, and wait. Totally fine for us, but just a heads up to the restaurant to work with OpenTable on availability.
