First time trying Bosco's. Had a great experience. Service was very prompt and the server was friendly. Our food was pretty tasty. Portion sizes were large and prices reasonable. They have a limited menu with mainly burgers and sandwiches. I tried the BJ Burger and really enjoyed the bacon jam. My husband really liked the BLT salad. Bosco's is a favorite for us. The location is great, we love sitting on the patio when it's nice out. We ordered our usual - hubby got a Bosco Burger and I got a steak Boscodilla. The drinksX the fries, and the food were all top notch. There was a minor issue with my meal, and the staff handled it quickly and with much apology. The owner came out to apologize and then delivered my RE-made meal and was so kind. It was out of their control and he more than made up for it. I've dined here 3 times inside and once for takeout and have really enjoyed this place. I confess to getting the same burger (the "easy burn", named for the jalapeños on it) each time because, well, I love it! The fries are pretty good as are the onion rings. My wife and parents have enjoyed their food here too, I think they move had a wrap, in addition to a couple other types of burgers. The owner has interacted with us each time there and is friendly and seems like a neat guy. His name is not Bosco, however, that would be his bulldog. I've yet to use the outdoor patio but it looks nice and seems like it would be somewhat shaded from the sun on a hot sunny day, which is good. Who wants to sit in direct 80°+ sun when dining? The burgers were perfect! My husband got the BJ burger and loved it. He said the bacon and onion jam sent the burger over the top. I had the Lucy Lou Bleu and the burger was delicious with plenty of Blue cheese. I ordered French fries which were perfect and my husband had onion rings which he really enjoyed. And did I say the portions are huge! We are from Chicago but visiting friends in the area. The cost for our dinner was such a good deal, would have paid way more in Chicago. I so wanted to like this place. After Sonder left I was hopeful the space would become a wonderful restaurant. Bosco's was underwhelming. Service was nice (ordered on the phone and picked up) but the food was bland. Meat was cheap. No heat. No spices. Blah. We hoped the limited menu meant perfected dishes but that was not the case. We are glad we grabbed takeout because the place was crowded and it did not seem to be Covid safe. At least it wasn't overpriced. read more

I do not recommend this place. It took a long time to get our drinks. They brought our food out one at a time instead of together. My onion rings were not hot when they came out. Their burgers are frozen permafrost burgers from Gordon Foods or Sysco. They are not good and that's sad since that's about all that's on the menu. This was our third and last time going here. First if all the staff and atmosphere (We sat outside) were excellent. The food critic in me had some suggestions though. I like the fact the menu was simple. This tells me a restaurant can focus on their menu items without having a large menu and not really be great/known for anything. With that being said I would assume the kitchen staff has time to do the little extras like hand cut fries vs restaurant food service quality. Also hand breaded/dipped onion rings. The little things is what sets you apart in this competitive industry. I had the BJ (Bacon Jam) burger. Not sure if asking for how I wanted it done was an option but the burger was over cooked to my liking. Med well at best maybe even well done which made the burger very dry. The toppings were good and helped the cause. I really really wanted to love this place and with a few changes this could be a regular stop as I like the lower key places. This could be a great addition to the up and coming Hudsonville restaurant scene with a few tweaks. read more
