Love going to Boston Coffee house for a light meal. They have some great sandwich options. Don't expect a full blown meal but a nice light lunch and it will hold you over. I've been a customer of Boston coffee for years.. unfortunately i may be a customer no longer. I went into Boston coffee today after placing my order over the phone. Unfortunately they had accidentally messed up the sandwich order, no big deal i kindly asked them to remake the sandwiches that were incorrect. I unfortunately had a blended drink to take home to my daughter that had been sitting out for a while they made the sandwiches the first time and again while they were making them for a second time. I asked them if they could remake the drink as well since it's already melted. They rudely told me no and then proceeded to say " we won't, we only remake things that are wrong, your drink it's wrong". I understand that the drink wasn't wrong per say when they made it but having to wait on them to make the sandwiches the first time (over 20 minutes) and then again the second time (another 20 minutes) the drink that was supposed to be blended became in-consumable and to no fault of myself. I think for charging $6 for a drink they could make it again but i guess not... the attitude wasn't necessary either. Honestly your better off at Starbucks they're actually nicer there. read more

So I guess today should be the last time to frequent this location. Either the owner, or the manager, are not reading Yelp reviews (and they need to), or they just don't care. This location has been continually going downhill since its original opening. Today we sat at a table that needed to be cleaned, and there was a used napkin and two straw papers left from the prior patrons. However, the server that seated did not clean the table, leaving behind the napkin and straw papers. She just proceeded to give us a menu, after I specifically stated we were just there for coffee, showing a lack of listening. Other tables were dirty as well, and the counter where you get your own sweeteners and stirrers was disgustingly dirty and remained that way even as we left. Our server brought our coffees to our table; however, she never came back to check on us. We even had to get up to pay for the coffees as she never even came back to bring us our check. This location is in desperate need of a mature manager who will make sure staff is fully trained, including learning all about etiquette and cleanliness. Due to having this type of experience repeatedly at this location... we will drive another couple miles up the road to another coffee shop. read more

I ordered a Chai Tea and a breakfast sandwich. The man at the counter was very nice. After ordering he says "if you'll have a seat, we'll bring it right out to you". I sit in a corner but employees are passing me regularly, we're making eye contact, smiling, etc. I wasn't hidden. After 30 minutes, I walk to the counter and ask where my sandwich is. A lady just opens a to go container and tells me it's just been here. I was annoyed but I just asked that they heat it up for me. The lady then lectures me that ordering at the counter is takeout but sitting down gives you table service. I tell her I was told to sit down, she asks the original boy if I did, he says no, and then she just walks off to heat the sandwich. No apologies or anything. The food is average, and that's not a bad thing in a small town, but I can't honestly come back. read more

This place is awesome! I visit Deltona twice a year and this time around I discovered Boston Coffeehouse! I'm so glad to finally find somewhere that has coffee similar to what I get in New York. Our waitress Genesis was so sweet and kind. She literally made our experience extra special. I had the Caramocha and the cinnamon roll oatmeal. It was absolutely fantastic. The coffee wasn't too sweet and the oatmeal was a perfect consistency. I really hope this place continues to excel. I cannot wait to be back. read more

Wow what a cute and delish place!! Beautifully cozy decorated and comfortable seating went at 1pm not crowded. Had the Yankee Doodle ice coffee. Really good just would do less cinnamon and more ice. For lunch we had the chicken noodle soup half and half w a turkey sandwich and the apple and ham sandwich! Both on pretzel buns! Yummy!!! So happy to have one of these back on my side of town again! I've been eating/drinking at Boston Coffee for maybe 12-14 years?! It was about 11 when I went, place was kinda slow so hopefully that changes, was able to sit right away and get good service. I ordered the frozen Irish eyes are smiling and the veggie pesto wrap with potato salad... the pesto wrap has changed some since I last had it and not for the better, but it was still really good and fresh. This place is horrible with their service. I went in Friday mid-morning to get something to go. I sat at the counter and sat, and sat... No greeting, no "we will be with you shortly." No acknowledgement what so ever from the employees walking back and forth in front of me. This is after the last time I went (a few months ago) and placed a to go order and they forgot about the order. Each time there were maybe 3 other patrons in the restaurant. So, it was definitely not too busy. On this last visit, the employee of the month (Kailyn or Kristin or something), even stood right at the counter in front of me making a drink facing to the side towards me (she did not have her back to me, so she could see me), still without acknowledging me. We just picked up our order in Deltona location of Boston Coffee House and the morning manager on duty 10/29/2021 female was very unprofessional. She was yelling at staff in front of customers', causing one customer talking to my wife about the great looking pastries at the counter to walk out not even ordering . I have been a friend of Joe Valente and a patron of the original Boston Coffee House in DeLand for years since high school. I know Joe and his mom would never show that kind of frustration in front of customers and never treat employees like the Deltona manager. The brand name of Boston Coffee house took a hit today due to the manager on duty at the Deltona location. She should be fired. No employee should ever be treated badly due to an iPad problem at the counter.I will never go back to the Deltona location again. I will travel 14 miles instead of just one to get great service from the real Boston Coffee House in DeLand Florida. Retrain this manager. Rich Baum read more

Had an awful experience .. I loved when they were in Orange city they moved to deltona and they suck ... Went in this morning took the waitress 30mins to even acknowledge us .. Than took another 20 mins to get our drinks finally got them and my bistos caramocha was all milk so so disappointing.. Than we finally order food and 45mins later had to cancel the order .. Very disappointed. Heard great things about your establishment and thought we would give it a try today. I asked about there drinks she said all teas and coffees can be served hot frozen or ice. Order a frozen chi and can't be frozen. Okay no big deal got ice it was very good. Asked about the soup of the day said it was like a cream of chicken soup. The soup however was so thick I could turn over my spoon and nothing came off. It was disgusting. Had two bites told her I did not like it and her response was laughed and said yea it is. Never said sorry can I offer you something else ... nothing. Had to wait forever for bill. Charges us for the soup paid for it at this point I just wanted to leave.
